This company is a predatory business in which they automatically sign people up for a subscription without a clear description of what they are doing. I don't even remember "signing up" for this subscription but I noticed two payments of $25 on my bank account from two different unusual websites. One was from ****************************** on 5/22/25 and the other was from shipmentsfree.com on 4/22/25. I contacted ******************************, and apparently it is the same company as shipmentsfree.com. They cancelled my subscription, but did not offer any answers to why I was charged in the first place or what company I purchased an order from in which they were involved. Right when I was about to ask them for a copy of my contract with them, they abruptly ended our chat. I'd like to be reimbursed for my charges, and make them change their practice for signing up people with their auto subscriptions.Business Response

We believe that you intentionally signed up as you applied for our First Purchase Rebate (8668049623-7500464725) as a check to be sent to your **** mailing address by logging into your account portal. This rebate was paid out. We obtained user information directly from your inputted information after visiting a sports gear site (fanatics). Someone clicked on our cash back rebate ad and filled out a multi-field signup form using the credit card information that we have on file and gave express consent to the subscription program. We sent a welcome confirmation to the email address on file immediately after the last signup step confirming the purchase. Our signup flow is very clearly identified as belonging to us. It's very difficult to sign up with us inadvertently, unknowingly or unaware that there will be monthly charges incurred. Better Business Bureau:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me in light of the refunds. I have had to cancel the associated card.Contrary to the claims of the business, it is incredibly easy to sign up for it without knowledge as their forms are highly misleading and the pages are deceptive. I never completed a transaction with them. They used payment information from a site I did make an order from. I find their business practices to be intentionally malicious and parasitic. The resolution provided is all I need in my case. I do hope they ultimately improve to be better than this going forward.

In 2024 I signed up with Shipments Free and immediately i realized it was a scam and I did not put through my application. I did not think of looking further into this until about a month ago when ******* sent me an alert that there was a suspicious charge on my card. When I looked into it I saw that Shipments Free had been charging me $19/month since June 2024. I immediately contacted Shipments Free and after several back and forth emails, they finally refunded me, however only for October 2024-March 2025. I have tried and tried to have them refund me the months from june2024-September 2024. I have all the statements from the bank. They have been very uncooperative and have told me that their policy does not allow them to go so back. I then received an email from a ****** M on May 7, 2025 that a refund had been issued and that I would receive my refund in 3-5 business days. I never did receive it and since then I have not been able to contact ******. I explained to the company that I did not notice these charges for two reasons:1). I had never submitted my application therefore there was no reason for me to think I would have been charged 2). I lost my home in the wildfires in ** in 2023 in *******. For the past two years I have been moving from hotel to hotel, battling with the insurance companies and trying to keep my head above the water. How was I supposed to know that this company had been charging me all this time? I wasnt concerned about checking my bank statements as I was about trying to stay alive.Business Response
