I am writing to formally dispute the account identified by account number *********, which appears on my credit report. This account was opened without my knowledge or consent and is the result of fraudulent activity. I have no recollection of applying for credit or entering into any agreement with COLLECTION.Under 15 U.S.C. 1692g, you are required to provide verification of the debt or a copy of a court judgment if I request it in writing within 30 days. To date, I have not received any documentation, including a signed contract, that confirms I authorized this account. Without such evidence, there is no lawful reason for this account to be associated with my name.Given that this account was opened fraudulently, I am requesting its immediate removal from my credit report and that all collection efforts cease. I am filing a complaint against Caine & Weiner for reporting a collection account that I do not recognize. I have never had a contractual relationship with this agency, nor have I conducted any business with them. I have no knowledge of the alleged debt, and they have not provided any valid documentation to support their claim.I have formally disputed this with Experian and am now requesting that the BBB assist in resolving this matter. I am asking that Caine & Weiner either provide verifiable proof of the debt, including any original contract bearing my signature, or immediately remove this account from their records and cease all collection activities.This account is damaging my credit and is not a valid debt. Uh... I filled a complaint agianst a scammy collection agency that wont communicate with me and your accusing me of being the Scammer? Like I thought the BBB was supposed to protect the comsumer not protect scammers. I want this REmoved from my Credit report,. Its Not even legal to be on my credit report as it is a medical debt and under federal law, specifically the changes enacted by the National Consumer Assistance Plan and further clarified by the ************************************ (****), the major credit reporting agencies (Experian, Equifax, and **********) are prohibited from reporting any medical debt. This account appears to violate those terms. I am requesting its immediate deletion under federal law. If the item is not removed within a reasonable timeframe, I will file formal complaints with the ************************************, the ************************, and my State ************************* They have also NOT confirmed that the details of this account aare even accurate and will not respond to my calls or letters requesting conformation of a contract with their company.Business Response
