    I kept getting a pop-up on my computer to buy their service of protection for my computer. Since it was a new computer, I opted on buying the protection plan. After installing, the program kept disrupting my work by continually popping up more pop-*** and interfered with my work on my computer. I could not see my screen because of the constant pop***. I called the customer service and they tried 7 times to go into my computer to fix the problem and could not fix it. So I asked for my money back. They refused to give me my money back and also added another charge of $39. for an additional product that I did not order. They refuse to give me my money back even though I could not use my computer while I had the program installed. They have taken off the program, but refuse to return my money. I have only had this program on my computer for 1 week. Terrible that they'd do this to people. I do NOT recommend ******* to anyone.

    customer support number for refunds is false. Company makes it very difficult to cancel the service. I am disgusted by their tactics and practices will never again use them. i have e-mail them and have also written to them asking for a full refund but they just give me the cold shoulder. The attorney general should investigate them.

    I have no account with **********************. They cant even find a old one yet they have tried to charge a credit card I dont use 11 times in the last 2 months. Im also harassed daily on my computer with pop up messages. I dont use McAfee and Im started to feel violated. A legit company should not behave this way

    Customer support number for refunds is false. Refused to issue refund once discovered already had an active account. Spoke with two different support members (outside of the ** as no support is provided in the **) - both tried to sell me additional products and refused to issue the refund on a charge made the same day. Had to contact credit cart to dispute the charge. Won't use a McAfee product ever again.

    Deceptive billing practices- sign up for $39 annual fee and 3rd year without warning your fee is $159- and very difficult to cancel. Buyer beware

We encourage you to take advantage of any promotion or introductory rates if preferred; however, remaining in the automatic renewal service does offer other perks, such as our VPP service and complimentary ***********. Depending on your subscription type and area, this can also allow you access to McAfee Identity Protection.Please note that authorization to charge your payment instrument for renewal is given at the time of purchase, prior to the completion of sale, and again when accepting the terms of the McAfee License Agreement before use of our software. Thirty (30) days prior to the Auto-Renewal charge, an email is sent to the customer notifying them of the date their subscription will renew and the renewal price they will be charged at that time. Customers can stop the renewal at any time by logging into their accounts or contacting our support team.At this time, a refund has been processed back to your payment instrument. Most customers receive their refunds within 5 business days.     Per an email from the company I was within the period I was entitled to cancel services and receive a full refund. The call Center I was put in contact with to get a refund played games and ******** said no problem we will refund $xx which was a 50% refund. I reiterated I was entitled to a full refund and they went back l to talk to the supervisor and and said they would give me a 60% refund. It took 20 minutes of me holding my ground before I got my refund. I am disgusted by these tactics to hold onto money, especially when the company sent out an email stating a customer is entitled to a full refund.

    McAfee charged my CC $89 for a subscription I did not agree to. I have never used them before and when I called for a refund, I was told they would let the manager know about the charge and refund me. They never got back to me or gave me my refund. I called them back and they said it was past the 30-days refund policy and they had to move escalate the problem. No one ever got back to me. I eventually had to tell my CC company that they took money without my permission. I do not know how they got my CC info. They kept insisting I purchased from them back in 2010 through a discount and renewed my subscription (I do not remember purchasing/agree to this). I got my CC in 2020, I do not know how they got the information. But I am concerned that they might be scamming people that don't notice the charge or are too trusting.

    I have not subscribe and Mcafee is charging my bank . I did dispute and it was a reverse on my dispute apperantly I had subscribed . So now they give me the run around and just questioning me with tons of questions just so they dont have to return the money.

    McAfee is a Rip Off Business. I cancelled my subscription and every year they keep sending me a renewal fee that i have to call and fight to be refunded. Do not use this service.

    Canceled my protection from Mcafee because it would not download. Mcafee charged my credit card $159 for a renewal fee for download that never occurred. Had to cancel my credit charge at discover because the credit card company could not do anything to help either. Mcafee continues to place me on hold and hangs up the phone. A REAL GARBAGE SCAM. Avoid McAfee products all together.
