    The company Nextdoor.com, Inc. provides a social network service with community guidelines that limit the posting of misinformation and a goal that the service can be self-moderating. Last week this user notified the site with several concerns about recent posts by an elderly member ********************* on August 15. The content of her posts included several factual errors and typographic mistakes that were deemed very likely to distract or confuse readers. These errors are found on a service page at *******************************************************************. Some individuals in these posts are mis-credited including **** who is responsible for plant production, **** who performs watering or other maintenance and ***** who supervised a shed restoration project. The content also include mis-spellings the company name, ******* when ***** is correct, as well as some redundant material and a misleading statement about the included delivery service. Multiple times in the past week these erroneous posts were reported, but community moderators or site administrators have yet to review the content for removal. As of today ************ reflects confusion over how to edit and delete her own content after we inquired about making corrections yesterday. Please help us reach a more responsive agent at the company who will take action to remove **************** posts to revise and correct the service page above. Thank you for assistance in resolving this service issue with Nextdoor.com.

Once we receive this confirmation there are a couple of technical problems on that page that require support from site administrators.

    I am rejecting this response because: Although an agent claimed to have addresses the first issue of this complaint there is a second issue that requires attention: the business profile includes services that are no longer offered this year. Those services  (IRRIGATION, LIGHTING and STONE REPAIR) should be removed from the business page entirely to prevent confusion. The site will not let us delete from that list of services for some reason. Can you find an agent at Nextdoor who will remove them for us?

    I am constantly disabled on the nextdoor.com application for posting about laws affecting Black people in *******. I have been disable more than 13 times. The moderators are obviously biased and racist when it comes to Blacks issues. Posting about Black concerns is considered racist and discriminatory against White people. I requested to be a moderator since there aren't any Black moderators in my community. I was denied. I keep getting apologies from nextdoor and my posts are restored. I have to keep going to the support desk to get assistance. I was actually stalked by one of the leads, and although I reported it, he is still a moderator on the app. Other leads have attacked me on the app as well. And they state they support Black Lives Matter. Nonsense.

    I am trying respond to the reply from ************ regarding my previous complaint against them in complaint ******** on 8/01/23.     I am rejecting this response because: In the cases where a situation has arisen where I have been uncivil it has been in response to someone else being that way towards me first. But the bigger issue is that the people who I responded in an uncivil manner to became uncivil when I pointed out that they had posted a comment about a situation that was invalid or based on conspiracies. And given that this social media platform markets their purpose as a way to help neighbors stay informed, they really have an responsibility to ensure that the information and comments being posted are based on actual facts not conspiracies. And the fact is they do not. Add to that that my account has become suspended after certain people would make comments that were "uncivil" that I would respond to, then those people would delete their comment and turn around and report mine as well as the fact that their moderators and neighborhood base their decisions on their own personal bias rather when should be unbiased and base their decisions upon ALL of the Comments that had been made, not just the snapshot of my one comment. Basically this company needs to go through and evaluate how their moderators and neighborhood leads go about handling their responsibilities and get rid of the ones that are not taking care of their responsibilities in a professional manner as should the rest of the people working for the company. All you have to do is read other people's complaints and reviews to see that this is not an isolated situation with just my account and that it happens quite frequently. Next Door needs to hold itself to the same standards that it expects it members and go through and up their own house to ensure that that is actually happening. So NO, I do not accept their answer, I reject it.

    I am rejecting this response because: The people running ND are completely unreasonable. All you have to do is look at other complaints filed against them to see that. I completely reject their response because they do not and Never have held all people using ND to the same standards. And they constantly allow people to post comments that are not based upon actual facts and those same people are the ones who are uncivil to start with. Any response from me that has been uncivil is in response to a person who was uncivil to me so they need to start holding EVERYONE to the same Community Standards and they need to stop allowing people to post comments and information that is not based on actual facts.

    I am (was) a neighborhood Lead and Founder on ND. All was well until a fellow named ******************************* crossed paths with me on the site. He responded to a very mundane post I made months ago with extremely rude and insulting language. I reported him, several others reviewed the report, and his comment was removed. He was not pleased. Since that time, he has trolled me, chased me all over ND, seizing opportunities to shame, insult, and disparage me. He was reported (not by just me) several times, had his account temporarily suspended more than once. Until last week, I was continuing to enjoy ND. I have blocked ******* he so cannot respond to my posts or message me. Now he checks my activity and seizes any opportunity to harass and demean me on the posts of others.I reported him yet again. I also responded to his hateful attacks with some hard truths because I am FED UP with him. He and several neighbors who are his connections reported my responses. (Which, by the way,I deleted soon after they were posted.) MY account has been disabled for 30 days while he has faced no consequences. After ******************** started his campaign, I did extensive research on him. I learned (via public records and media sources) he has a criminal record in three counties (GA and SC) going back several years. His more recent charges include possession of meth with intent to sell, shoplifting, theft by taking, criminal trespass, to name a few, He is currently awaiting trial for felony cruelty to children (4 counts). His trial has been pending for 3 years because of pandemic-related delays. He and his live in girlfriend allowed her infant to starve. The child is now blind, deaf, and permanently brain damaged. It was a big story on all local media. ******* has also uses ND to prey on vulnerable elderly citizens.I have alerted ND of his manipulation of a local man who he found on ND; they have ignored my warning,The elderly are low-hanging fruit on ND for manipulative con men like *******.

    Complaint is against the Reviewers and Lead of the North Cape May, ** NextDoor Community website. There are 3 to 4 active Review Team members and a Lead (even though 17 Reviewers are listed). At least 3 active Reviewers and the Team Lead have created a very toxic, hostile environment for people discussing current affairs and community issues. They are trolling, harassing, publicly shaming people, and taking over conversations by badgering people who submit comments that they diisagree with. When you stand up for someone being targeted, you then become a target, yourself. Although there are good people viewing this siite, most are too intimidated to participate in discussions and simply offer kind words to those who are ill, or discuss safe topics such as missing pets, garage sales, favorite restaurants, gardening tips, and recommendations for services. The Reviewers and Lead need to be removed. This horrific environment is becoming very unsafe, and some posts which include complaints against neighbors and actual threats by some commenters are allowed to remain posted by the Review Team and Lead (ex: threats to go over to someone's house to harass them).

    This is a few instances when NextDoor had violated aspects of ADA.gov violations -- one when there is a pending felony case with a concealed deadly weapon in **************, *******, then the incident where the *** of Cash App being murdered then their **************, ******* neighborhood leads had voiced instances of known Xenophobia and anti-immigrant rhetoric; sounds like on ******** instances where immigrants had spoken out on this subject taken to their ******** to address this.I want them to green-light my cousin and her neighbor; full cooperation with *****************, ************** and ********************* to allow longreads [WordPress-like framework in print] they're denying access when Benefits gov or places when iOS and Android OS resources part of the fold. I am disabled with a learning disorder and an ethnic minority protected under a few acts. They are openly violating these acts.The PDF enclosed is the word-of-mouth project that Wish [Content Logic] and Blurb [RPI, **** are still collaborating on; you gave me the contact in formation needed to address them directly on this too.

    I repeatedly had posts removed for no good reason. Apparently using the word "teenagers" or "illegal aliens" which were both used to describe a factual situation are considered "racism" by the easily triggered moderators in my neighboor. Yet, when someone actually created a new post complaining that there were not enough "non-white people" in our area (AKA "there's too many white people here!"), somehow, THAT post was allowed to stand after being reported. Really? I realize that Nextdoor doesn't pay these neighborhood moderators; however, can we just say "scraping the bottom of the barrel"? If you dare to question the moderator's actions, you get banned. Horrible platform and very easily taken over by bullies when the bullies ARE actually the moderators and use their status to harass and silence anything and anyone they dislike, but feel free to place their own views that clearly violate the same policies. I believe that ALL of this could easily be resolved by allowing the actual COMMUNITY to up vote or down vote comments and posts. The power to threaten, harass, and silence people's voices shouldn't be placed in the hands of a few, especiually when those few seem to be wholly incapably of having such a power over others.

    I am rejecting this response because:  The SAME "Review team" that thought a truthful statement that the homeless could be a nuisance and that working people don't enjoy supporting people who refuse to work and support themselves. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this opinion and MANY people feel the same way. It's kind of common sense that people don't like other people freeloading off of them. Keep in mind that the very SAME review team that had me BANNED for making a mild and truthful staement, allowed another Nextdoor user to create a contentious and RACIST post titled: "Where are all the non-white people?" where this user then proceeded to passively-aggressively complain that the area SHE chose to move to has too many white people. I reported this post but these same "Review Team" members refused to remove it. Can you even imagine the outcry if someone made the same post in a non-white majority neighborhood and asked: "Where are all the non-black people?" and then proceeded to complain the area had too many non-white people? The biases of the Nextdoor Review team are outrageous and they need to police the people they give this power to.Also people with FAKE names joining to pile on that do not even live in this neighborhood.

    Tonight one of their so called "Review team" for my neighborhood by the name of ******* posted a disgusting video of swarming bugs with no explanation. No one had any idea what it was. Apparently, breeding bugs for reptile food is his "business". Isn't he supposed to buy an ad for that instead of just blasting this into everyone's news feed? Anyway I made a mild comment that this video is gross and would be nice if there was some explanation so we knew what it was for. ******* replied to me, although I have no idea what he replied since I muted him in hopes of never seeing anymore disgusting bug videos again. Then immediately afterwards like 15 of my posts were flagged an censored. It seems a bit like some type of weird retaliation for saying his bug video was gross. the review team nextdoor uses to represent them seems immature and drunk on power. They should do more to allow users to report abusive "review team" members.

    Nextdoor is a terrible app. They allow people to harass, complain, and terrorize others on the app. They do not care about when posts are reported and they allow people to post videos of VOYEURISM. They allow people to post illegally obtained content and talk c*** online about others and create hate and let people talk about threats and hurting other people and think it is okay. There is terrible response time and no way to get a hold of anyone to close down an account. This should be a nice site to meet people. They don't even follow their own policies or make people follow the agreed upon policies when they first sign up and agree to.

    Nothing has been done to remove the account of *******************. No one wants to do their job anymore. She is taking illegal audio and video recording of people and posting on next door and creating hate and letting people give her criminal activity ideas. Obviously next door supports criminal activity if nothing is done to remove her account.
