I would like a TELEPHONE CALL FROM A SUPERVISOR. This business of taking NO phone calls is because they run a shoddy business. I am not going to put up with it. I want this company to have repercussions for their shoddy moderators and review team. The moderators are very UNeducated in their job. ND needs to coach their team and/or hire more experienced moderators. I have volunteered to be one in my neighborhood which has NONE and needs one the worst way but they have not taken me up on it. They would be lucky to get me. But they do NOT abide by their OWN RULES AND REGULATIONS! It is such a joke! People are getting banned and posts removed that are perfectly fine posts and a person the other day told me that I had President ***** up my R***** and it was allowed to stay. They sent me an email saying that the person said nothing that was against the rules! PUBLIC SHAMING I would think! But I've had it with them. When I make a report on a poster, it is because it is AGAINST THE GUIDELINES and they NEVER remove it. It sounds ***** to you I'm sure but I do NOT like discrimination!!! I want to SPEAK to a manager (not a kid in a cubicle!) EVERY business should have a telephone complaint line. I am not going to stop until I speak to someone there. These generic emails they send after you make a report is a bunch of BULL! You can tell they never read your complaint whatsoever! Really? Nextdoor should not be allowed to continue the way they are. They are clearly bias and do NOT enforce their rules. Meanwhile, when I report someone as a good member should do, the person I report LAUGHS at me and ND allows it! If I don't get a PERSONAL telephone call, I expect the emails I get to be A REAL TIME EMAIL AND NOT SOME STUPID GENERIC AUTOMATED EMAIL!!! What exactly do you guys do there if you don't answer phones or emails??? I have asked for moderators in our neighborhood and you don't care. I have volunteered. This has to stop because I'm not going to!!!Business Response

I am rejecting this response because:
They gave NO indication that they gave the complaint any merit at all or any way to speak to someone without having to email a regular agent that has no idea about this complaint. They just don't care. That is the problem. Nobody has called me back as I have asked. I am very unhappy with the way Nextdoor.com conducts their business. The only way to convey the many issues I have with them is for someone to phone me and they continue to say that is not possible. I REJECT THIS DECISION 100%!
Sincerely,

The Nextdoor app provide horrible service. They suspended my account after I reported a crime on my elderly moms property. They handled the whole incident incorrectly. I had the backing of the police. I was gathering info as to who the perpetrators were and how I could locate where they were coming from and report the crimes to the institution. Which was a local high school. Nextdoor did not get any information from me. We were the victims protecting ourselves. Its was trespassing mail theft and harassment. I contacted the principal who identified the perpetrators. I had eye witnesses and photos.Next door did not serve me well as a client. They put my info in ***** way.Jeopardizing my safety.Business Response

During the 2022 election cycle, a local Republican blogger named ********************* filed a petition to run for Mayor of the Town of ********. During the campaign, it was discovered that **************** had been arrested in his previous town in *********** for assaulting a town official. He was also accused of attempting to run the incumbent Mayor of ******** down with his van. Users on Nextdoor posted links to these news articles from newspapers and news channels only to find their Nextdoor accounts disabled for "public shaming". **************** shortly after revoked his petition to run for Mayor. **************** began threatening lawsuits against those who posted said links alleging his civil rights were violated by said posters revealing his past actions. In the 2024 election cycle, a local Deputy named ***************** ran in the primary races for Knox ****************** **************** and his supporters *****************, *************************, *******************, and ********************* began posting news articles regarding **************** demotion as a Deputy due to violations of department rules. These posters were reported to Nextdoor Moderation as they had violated the same standards that **************** claimed to be the victim of. However, none of these posters lost their accounts or their ability to post on Nextdoor. They were all allowed to publicly shame ************ with impunity. **************** has again filed a petition to run for Town ******** in 2024. Recently, users began posting links to ******************** past arrests and legal troubles only to find their Nextdoor accounts disabled. **************** has also filed a federal lawsuit claiming his civil rights were violated by those posting the links and openly threatens to sue ****** on Nextdoor in a blatant display of harassment. Local Leads overwhelmingly support **************** and allow his harassment to continue. Nextdoor clearly has a double standard politically and sees fit to allow one side of the spectrum to control all discourse and moderate as such on their platform.Business Response

I posted a public message on the app and was inbox by some upset person. This person was publicly harassing me by mocking Christianity and going on about how my post somehow was related to his religion directly?! Im not sure but he was sick and weird towards me and I cursed him out on a message he had inboxed me about. The app first deleted the post then blocked me from the app without any reason or explanation. What kind of healthy situation is this!? If they allow this and are allowing certain people to be ******* on there with harassment and intimidation? How is this legal?Business Response

This app is a joke. My account was deleted for asking if anyone had an extra vacuum they no longer needed, which is what I thought the app was for. I've seen time and time again, that employees of Nextdoor are constantly discriminating against anyone who doesn't agree with them on social issues or political issues.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because: My complaint is that Nextdoor is always censoring opinions that don't align with their opinions and allow others with hateful, divisive, and rude comments to continue to be seen. I've had my account name for a long time now, it's never been an issue. My friends and neighbors know me as *****************/ Why is it that Nextdoor can to tell me what I prefer to be called?Nextdoor is supposed to be a public domain, not an official government website.Everyone should be allowed to be called by the name they identify with, my nickname is not different than someone choosing their pronouns. I cant believe that companies actually pay to advertise on the Nextdoor Website.

I paid for an advertising service on Nextdoor.com. I did not receive the service which I paid for and subsequently have been unable to get ahold of any representative from Nextdoor. They only have an option to submit a form on their website- no phone number, no email. I believe this is consumer fraud as they collected my payment, did not provide the service agreed to, and have no way to be contacted. This is a classic bait-and-switch tactic and due to Nextdoor breaking the terms of our contract, I am entitled to a full refund. As of writing this, I have not received a full refund from Nextdoor and have filed a fraud claim with my bank.Business Response

I tried to create an account for our rental property. They said I needed verification as an error on the website, but no specifics. I found a form so submitted the deed showing we owned property. The next day they emailed saying they need an ID emailed. I said that's confidential information and I can't email that. I asked that they just delete the account since I can't move forward. They told me they can't delete the account but ***************** it. We were hacked last summer and I am not comfortable now with them having our deed plus an open account. I explained that but they refuse to delete the account. I never was even able to log into the account so there is no information on it, but the police during the hacking said to delete unused accounts because it will cause more of a digital footprint to have them open. Somehow Nextdoor thinks I'm not who I am even though I gave the government issued deed to our house (under by husband *********************), stamped/certified. I'd like NextDoor to delete my account.Business Response

Got an unsolicited email inviting me to a social media app for neighborhoods. I did not give any information to this company nor did I seek out this service. This feels like a gross overstepping on behalf of this company.Below is the email I received. I am requesting that this company is looking at how they are getting their information.I am also requesting that no further contact is had from this company. I will not waste my time unsubscribing. That energy has been channelled into this complaint. This is an overstep from a company trying to advertise a surveillance app and is an infringement on the privacy for those in my neighborhood.Business Response

It's creepy and bad business practice.and now to circumvent eny accountability on your part you make it an issue of sending it to your mailbox. Youre a bad company and i hope you fall into bankruptcy
