The community guidelines forbid national politics on the main feed. I reported this one post weeks ago. It is still up. I reported the poster. It's still up. I emailed support and was told there is no violation.I am attaching the content of the email I sent with a link to the content I reported.This post has been reported ************************************************************************************************************************************ Two votes mine to remove and one to keep. On 1/13/2025 I tried to use Nextdoor to find a stolen item. But without my permission they copied my full address book and in spite of all my attempts they do not give me a method to undo thatBusiness Response

Nextdoor doesn't opt-neighbors into adding their contacts. It's an option when a neighbor joins. The neighbor can go to their settings, scroll down, and opt-out of sharing their contacts.Customer Answer

We give neighbors the opportunity to find their friends/contacts who may also be using Nextdoor, and also to invite neighbors who they think might want to join. The neighbor must've accidentally started that process. They can go to their settings and disconnect the feature.Customer Answer

MAKE THE SPAM STOP.They wont stop emailing me. Ive blocked them, Ive unsubscribed, and everything else I can think to try. They make new addresses and add me to new lists. They are just pushing a psychotic deluge of spam on me and I cant get them to stop. They are knowingly harassing everyone who has ever made the mistake of using their service. I want to be totally removed from their email lists as they keep implying they will do. I do not want to be added to any NEW lists. I want my email deleted from their servers altogether. I am rejecting this response because:Nextdoor reveals some disturbing info here.
1. ******** provides no delete option, otherwise I would have used it. They reveal here that accounts are maintained without the users knowledge and no means of deletion is actually provided. This company is extremely malicious with user data so this is a nightmare scenario already.
2. It would be counterproductive to reactivate my account just to delete it. As already mentioned, no option will be made available so its a waste of my time, and this would likely open me up to the same vexatious behavior that caused this complaint. Nextdoor should delete my account along with everyone else who Im sure would be infuriated to find out their accounts are merely deactivated.
3. This company is not ethical. They create new email lists, add to old ones, make it extremely difficult and time consuming to filter out nuisance notifications, even going so far as to make you do it one at a time. Their past behavior has me assuming that they will simply reactivate the account at any time to resume the harassing behavior.
I will not be satisfied until the account is DELETED and the data PURGED as the company has provided me no mechanism to do so on my own and they are a looming threat so long as they have any means of contacting me.

I opened an account with ******************** on November 3, 2024 to post a story with video of an encounter of a thief I faced earlier that year with those nearby. Around November 17, 2024, I learned that my account was suspended because I did not use my real name and I labeled the thief a demon in my post. Nextdoor called the thief my neighbor but police confirmed he lives beyond the limits of my neighborhood based on nextdoor's decision. I changed my name to avoid stalkers once I realized that the thief in my video had support and anyone can look up my name to find where I lived. Last month I requested that my suspended account be deleted but for whatever reason nextdoor rejected my request. I do not want to keep this account with nextdoor. I want my account deleted NOW. Neighbor posted a video of an individual and accused them of a crime, but the video was just of the person walking. Nextdoor considers that public shaming and harmful to the individual. It should be reported to the police if it hasn't already. And if it has, that's where the investigation should stay rather than litigated in front of a neighborhood where there is no proof of the crime presented.
The neighbor's account will stay suspended for one year and then be removed. The account is fully hidden from the neighborhood.

I am rejecting this response because: Nextdoor is lying. The video is of someone entering my mailbox after leaving a neighbor's mailbox across from mine. That same thief was moments later identified by police. I have the police trespass warning but did not upload! I still want my account DELETED! Nextdoor is TRASH like the male who entered my mailbox and others! Some commenters said he did the same thing to them and to their neighbors. Nextdoor obviously does not monitor the comments.

I am being continually harassed by a neighbor who lives in the Cherrywood Neighborhood in ******** ******** by the name of ******** ***. She also lives in the ********** neighborhood. I have never personally met this woman. It started because she didn't like a comment and started blasting me and calling me names. Now she's telling people I'm stalking her on ********. I've never met this woman and I most certainly am not interested in her ******** or anything else about her. I simply want her to leave me alone. I want her to stop spreading lies about me to my fellow neighbors and trying to make me look bad. She sent me private messages trying to taunt me. I've reported her so many times and NOTHING happens to this woman. I just want her to stop. Why does nextdoor allow this kind of behavior. Nextdoor is worst that ******** at this point. Nextdoor's inconsistent and seemingly arbitrary enforcement of its posting guidelines has resulted in the removal of legitimate, community-oriented posts shared by me and my wife. Despite observing similar posts by other users promoting their businesses or services that remain active, our posts are repeatedly flagged as spam. This selective enforcement of guidelines is unacceptable and lacks transparency.Nextdoor IS A TOOL to share information with our local community about opportunities to connect, an effort that aligns with the platform's intent to ****** local engagement. However, our posts have been marked as spam and removed without clear explanation.I have reviewed ******************** Guidelines but have found no clear justification for the removal of our posts. Moreover, it appears that Nextdoor's moderation process lacks proper investigation into reports submitted by other users. Posts flagged by individuals acting with ill intent are removed without proper due diligence to verify the validity of the complaints. The neighbor has many multiple accounts on Nextdoor which is a violation of the guidelines and this has been communicated to them. They need to work with Nextdoor Support to use the website again.

Nextdoor local reviewers are refusing to remove content of slander onto myself. Along with a few people bullying me, harassing me, and personally attacking me. One recently is by the member *** *****. Slandering me and saying I am using several names on this app. Which I am not. I use my real name once. He is personally attacking me also. Here is just one of them. I am rejecting this response because: the response you gave makes no sense as I said this, "Nextdoor reviewers are doing nothing and telling me these attacks are not against guidelines" in my complaint. Clearly this is a canned response, you did not read it, and or you really do not care to be a fair company that follows your own written guidelines for users. And now I have been banned for two weeks for asking about a content subject if it is against guidelines on the main feed. This is retaliation and does not follow freedom of speech.
