I spent $20.00 on GPTs premium subscription for the month of January because they released a statement saying that the new GPT marketplace would be open that month. It is now February, and its still not open. I want my money back. This is a case of false advertising for a feature that was promised with what I paid for but wasnt delivered. Ive attached proof of m purchase from my credit card transactions.Initial Complaint

Another company with a monopoly position, where they are slowly running my business to the ground. I am having issues with their service, yet the support does not want to talk with me like a human, or help me in a normal fashion. Because they are aware of their position, this company can treat their customers as they see fit. This mishap has cost me already thousands of dollars and my physical and mental health. I have tried so hard to get in touch with someone about their issues, but I won't get any help. On the contrary, my account has been suspended. With false advertising and fake bells and whistles, They keep you like gambling addicts clicking on things. And all you can think is "I hope this click will get me somewhere". I know it is not a life or death matter to most, but to a small business owner it is a death sentence. I cannot rely on this company and therefore would like to see them change their ways and compensate me for the thousands of dollars , time and visits to the doctor.Initial Complaint

On November 6, 2023, I accidentally signed up for the ChatGPT Plus subscription, which deducted $20 from my account. As soon as I realised my mistake, I contacted OpenAI customer support multiple times via email and support chat-box to request cancellation and a refund. Unfortunately, I did not receive any response. On December 7, 2023, OpenAI automatically renewed my subscription and charged me another $20 without my authorisation. I made several more attempts to contact OpenAI via email and support chat-box, but still did not receive any response. To date, OpenAI has charged me $40 in unauthorised subscription fees despite my persistent contact attempts over the past three months. I have attached invoices showing the charges.I believe OpenAI's lack of response is unacceptable customer service. I hope that the ******************** can assist me in getting a full refund of $40 from OpenAI and if possible, then a compensation for the time and frustration this issue has caused.Initial Complaint

I have rather strange news to share. I paid for a Chat GPT Subscription for the Plus line. It is $20 a month. Had it since last year. I love tinkering and asking questions. I love learning. This weekend, I grew frustrated with lame results from GPT 4.0. I questioned why I pay money and that Google is free and the capabilities of GPT have decreased substantially since last year. It used to explain more complicated legal and medical queries. Now, it is more generalized info. Like it has been throttled. Anyway, GPT locked me out of the system with zero warning or issue. Apparently, it even gave a full a refund!!! Unheard of. I kid you not. I screen shot part of the exchange. My access was briefly returned but it then deleted it's OWN history from the app and proceeded to CLOSE my account. This system is not supposed to have that capability. I promise none of my correspondences with GPT violated their EULA. It is beyond alarming this happened. It is creepy. If a tech did this while monitoring data, that is also alarming since this was all arbitrary and with zero warnings. I have reached out to Open AI but have received nothing yet. I asked GPT 3.5 if GPT has any of these capabilities, it says NO. To be clear. I did not ask for a refund, nor did I cancel my account. Nor, was I warned of any improprieties. The machine did this on it's own. This is a big deal. I believe. I think people of authority should know this information and at the very least, my experience should be documented. I was not able to find other instances of this happening but that could be a shortcoming of my search and also, just plain scrubbing by companies to protect their name. These are all machinations of mis and disinformation. Scary stuff. Act now before the real Terminator takes over, and not Arnold. SMH.Initial Complaint

attaching a receipt. Added funds to my account thinking it was the way I got access to Chat GPT. Come to find out it was for an *** that I will never use. I went and paid for 2 months of the ChatGPT client afterwards but have been denied a refund saying basically I should have known better. The entire site is convoluted. Should be clear instructions on how to purchase access to the Chat GPT 4.0 vs the free 3.5 version of the tool. AND FOR SURE there should be clear definition between adding money to your "account" stating that that is not the way to enable Chat GPT 4.0 My receipt that I will attach was for $20 which shows my intent to just gain access to Chat GPT 4.0, not the *** in any way.Initial Complaint

OpenAI won't let me into my ChatGBT account. When I choose, "login," it says I need to create my account again. When I choose, "create account," it says an account already exists.Initial Complaint

I was charged for a Premium subscription without my consent. I also noticed that ChatGPT history showed chat history I had not initiated. I immediately contacted ChatGPT. It took them some time to issue me a credit. They won't respond or admit the account was hacked, not tell me how security is being addressed.Initial Complaint

Using free chatgtp, a popup appeared. Saying now you can post a link to reference. When clicking on it, it said it wasnt available on my account yet. Then it advertises. it says to subscribe to chatgtp+ to get priority to new features. So I subscribe to $20 a month. I go back to use this priority access I just purchased to post a link. When I am finished writing the most in depth and creative prompt I have yet written, which contains a reference link, I hit send. Immediately it says it cannot look up links. And that the link service access is not available on my chatgtp+ account that I just paid to have access to, as advertised. So i go thru the typical American customer service maze of chatbots, preselected responses I can only choose from, FAQ pages that serve no purpose, just to be told they will respond in about 1 week. ONE WEEK? That is unacceptable customer service. With millions of paid subscribers, surely I am not the only one whom wasn't given what they were told they were paying for.Initial Complaint

I purchased some credits for Dall-E to create some art for a game. I didn't realize it was a subscription, so when I was billed for the next month I said "ok, fine, ****** learned" and tried to contact OpenAI to get them to stop billing me. That was on April 26. As I write this it is May 19 and I have recieved no response at all from OpenAI. I have tweeted at them, I have posted in their customer support portal. I have put messages in the help chat bot tool thing on their website. NO RESPONSE.
