The customer service behind ChatGPT has been pathetic. As a paying customer, I expect someone to get back to me, and in a timely manner, when am I a paying customer. The expectation is that you not "pawn it off" to chatbots and trolls in a forum. This isn't *********** have some professionalism!But more importantly, the product is terrible for the environment and could be significantly better. I am a **************** Scientist and Technology Futurist. I study things like Quantum AI. And I am telling you a new technology, called MemComputing, would not only make ChatGPT exponentially faster to train, but more powerful models, and using less than 1% of the current energy. As an auditor, I take exception that you guys have not used this despite my repeated requests, despite clearly articulating use cases and business value.The expectation is that your staff investigate the use of this technology and give due to consideration to using this. Hello,Since August, I have been paying $20 per month for OpenAI services, aiming to benefit from a higher quality and more up-to-date experience. However, I have encountered a serious issue with my membership, and I am unable to use the service. Despite reaching out to OpenAI multiple times, they have not been able to resolve the issue.They requested my credit card statements, the last four digits of my card, and other personal information, which I provided. However, they still responded that they couldnt find my ************* is extremely disappointing that a technology giant, like OpenAIone of the largest advancements in AI technologycannot retrieve basic membership information after providing them with detailed and sensitive ******* my last message to them, I requested either a refund or the ability to use the service Ive been paying for. I purchased ChatGPT Plus on October 9, 2024, through *****. Since I planned to use it for work, I didnt want to log in with Gmail. Unfortunately, I created the account ************************* using Gmail. I figured that, like on Reddit, I could reset my password and log in without Gmail. But I didnt get the reset email, so I checked your help page and found out that password resets can only be done through Gmail.Then I thought by deleting my Gmail account and signing up with the same email, that would clear things up. But that didnt pan out, and I found out from y'all that once you delete an account, you cant recreate a new one with that ********, Id like to ask for a refund for the membership I paid for, so I can grab ChatGPT Plus for my new account.Initial Complaint

I paid for a subscription to ChatGPT Plus but do not have access to it on my cellphone app. In fact, the app prompts me to pay $19.99 to upgrade to ChatGPT Plus, a service I'm already subscribed to and paying for. It is reassuring to see others who have identified ******* for their unprofessionalism and terrible customer service. I started using the platform relatively early in their existence and started paying in January. I mistakenly signed up for multiple premium services because I used multiple emails when invited to view and test them out. I did not realize this until 5 months ago. This was my error as they converted into a paying account after a week. I have been trying to contact them about resolving/merging these multiple accounts for months with 1 response and then nothing. "Fin from OpenAI ************************************* states "This email address does not offer support (non-enterprise premium subscription). If you are looking to contact the Sales team, please fill out the form on our Contact Us page." ***** doing this, I heard nothing and tried 6x to explain (again) my request to consolidate and continue to use ChatGPT. 5 months later, still nothing and duplicative charges continued as the standard interface did not guide me to a cancellation. I finally figured out a workaround and cancelled two of my duplicate accounts. They deserved the 1.0 rating and, with all of the hype around the company, deserve the negative reviews. Having been a senior executive in large and small tech companies, I have never seen such terrible support or general customer value/care of their customers from an early-stage company. ****** and many others provide a better product these days, but ******* has integrations with useful platforms so I would pay if they weren't such an abysmal company. This company is a nightmare to cancel a service with. Good luck. The documentation is all out of date and those options no longer exist (******************************************************************************************************). After 2 months of trying, I finally cancelled, but now I have no way to contact anyone for a refund. Their help documentation is outdated and incorrect, there is no email address that doesn't reply back with a notice that the mailbox is unattended and all guides route you back through the same "chat bot" on the website where the ability to cancel and/or request a refund no longer exists.Initial Complaint

I am a ChatGPT Plus Subscriber. Last week I was able to upload my videos and get summaries of the content within them. This week it wasn't allowing me to and an error message came up. I contacted OpenAI and they told me that it should be working and this was included in my subscription and gave me trouble shooting steps. The trouble shooting steps didn't work and each time after they didn't work, they told me it wasn't a feature and was never a feature. So they keep lying to me because I have proof that it worked before and they won't reinstate it to my account. It's hard to troubleshoot with them as well because when you submit a ticket, they give you things to do then close it without seeing if it worked. Then you have to restart and if you don't share everything from the previous interaction they have no clue what you did. So eventually after copying and pasting for hours, I called and left a message and they emailed me so we could actually troubleshoot.She started with me saying this feature existed (which it does, I've used it) then said it doesn't exist when the troubleshooting didn't work. Something fishy seems to be going on. As a consumer, I just want the product to work as I have purchased. I would like for them to fix my account and stop saying it works then doesn't exist because I know it does. It's getting kind of weird...I have a lot more documentation if needed to prove the features and some of the contradicting back and forth conversations. I just kept it short and sweet for now. If you need more, please let me know.
