My account (associated with the email address *********************) was unexpectedly deactivated less than two days after I subscribed to the ChatGPT Pro service. I had successfully paid $200 for this subscription, and there is also approximately $10 remaining in my API account. However, I am now unable to access these services, nor have I received an explanation or update on the status of my account.

Subject: Lack of ******************************* Limitations, and Deceptive Business Practices I am writing to file a complaint against OpenAI regarding its **************** specifically related to the GPT-4 model on the Plus plan. Recently, I encountered sudden, unexplained limitations on my GPT-4 usage, which were imposed without any prior warning or communication. This lack of transparency has been incredibly frustrating, especially as a paying customer.Upon reaching this arbitrary "limit," I was immediately prompted to upgrade to the Pro plan, which costs 10x more than the Plus plan Im currently subscribed to. The price increase felt unreasonably high, and I had to read the announcement several times to believe what I was seeing. It wasnt a modest increaseits a 10x jump, which makes the upgrade seem like a deliberate attempt to pressure users into paying far more for basic service.I never experienced any issues with usage limits before the introduction of the Pro plan. This feels like a tactic to push users into paying significantly more without adding any additional value.Additionally, when I hit the limit, I was completely locked out of my ongoing work. I couldnt even ask ChatGPT to summarize or assist with tasks I was working on, severely disrupting my workflow. Worse, I have no way of knowing when the limit will reset or how close I am to hitting it again. This lack of transparency leaves me unable to plan or manage my usage, preventing any proactive steps to avoid further disruption.The lack of predictability makes the service unreliable. If a premium plan is going to cost more, there should be tangible, value-adding featuresnot just the removal of arbitrary restrictions. I am writing to file a formal complaint regarding unauthorized access to my personal accounts, specifically my ChatGPT account, by my former employer.On October 28, 2024, I was terminated from my job. Following this, on November 15, 2024, at 7:05 PM, I reset all my passwords and changed the login information for all my accounts. Despite these measures, my former employer has somehow gained access to my personal accounts and has been viewing my private chat history. I reside in **********, *****, *****, and the company in question is located in **********. The CEO of the company (***************** ****** Fabrication Equipment, 4820 US-29, ********************), **** ****, has admitted to the HR team, specifically to ***** that he has been accessing my personal ChatGPT account without my consent. Additionally, ******* has a recording of this conversation.I have since deactivated the account associated with the email address ************************ Despite this, the company's actions constitute several serious violations, including:Unauthorized Access to ***************** Gaining access to my personal accounts without permission violates computer fraud and abuse laws.Privacy Violations: Accessing and viewing my private chat history without my consent constitutes a severe breach of privacy and possibly identity theft.Retaliation: As I am currently engaged in a discrimination lawsuit against this company, their actions could be seen as retaliatory and further complicate the legal proceedings.These actions have caused me significant distress and have undermined my trust in the integrity and security of my personal information. I purchased a subscription to ***** for ChatGPT under false pretenses. ChatGPT displayed misleading pop-up messages EVERY DAY stating that I could not continue using the platform without signing up for *****. I recently requested that a charge of $1035 plus tax ($1,126.86 in total) from OpenAI be refunded and the credits awarded in purchased removed from my account, as I inputed the incorrect dollar amount during purchasing. The intended purchase of usage credit was meant to be $35, so the disputed amount would be the added $1000 in credit. I attempted to contact OpenAI and have received no response to discuss options for resolving the billed amount. I contacted my bank and they were unable to help adjust the amount. I'm attaching a few documents to support that I've contacted OpenAI in two methods (email and virtual chat, there is no phone line support available to me) and haven't received adequate response that the communication is received or being attended to.I'm also attaching my purchase history from OpenAI, highlighting that no charges have been above $55 in an attempt to show that the $1035 plus tax charge was highly out of the ordinary - and a mistake in billing upon purchase.Lastly, I'm including the invoice from OpenAI, providing the invoice # and organization #, along with the total purchase amount. I am writing to bring attention to the ongoing negligence and unprofessional behavior exhibited by OpenAI, which has failed to honor its terms of service, provide adequate support, or respond meaningfully to repeated escalations over the course of two years.Breach of Service Terms: Despite paying for their premium service, the product consistently underperforms, producing outputs significantly worse than their free version two years ago. This constitutes false advertising and a breach of their terms of service.Lack of Support and Accountability: Attempts to engage their support team result in generic, automated responses or no reply at all. Escalated issues remain unaddressed, and promises to respond within specific timeframes are consistently broken.Customer Impact: Their refusal to provide support or fulfill their contractual obligations has caused significant frustration. Ive been paying monthly to ChatGPT/OpenAI $20 a month, for their image generation services. Eight days ago, it stopped generating images for me. Ive tried to get ahold of the people there and theres a long email chain, but I have my suspicions that all of their customer service is done by AI itself. I emailed my issues and they send me one thing back, But never follow through. Ive been left entirely hanging and they dont even have a phone number where I can reach an actual person. I have a long email chain about them saying that there was going to be technicians dealing with it, But no one ever reaches back to me after the first initial contact. Meaning, even if I reply to them, they never reply back. I have many assurances from the people on the other end of which I feel are basically autonomous robots, whether theyre real humans that exist or not. Ive given multiple screenshots and all of the information And theyve done nothing to actually help. I got some sort of Rundown of some IT stuff, but it was very simple and I eliminated that all within the first day. They assured me that theyd get back to me, but they never do. And assured me that theyre working on my case, but never contacted me with an actual person I could talk to. Here at the eight day **** no pics, & Im halfway through my subscription for the month. Seeing as I paid by the beginning of the month, I got basically one week out of them, And then the day after the election, my services just basically stopped. The only thing that I am paying for them for is the image generation itself, Because basically without that their service is free. They know what the issue is, and they still refuse to help me with this. Ive gotten plenty of lip service about how theyre going to fix this and make it right, but no one has shown like theyre actually going to do it. I have a recurring monthly subscription to this service. The web-based function does not allow me to login. Attempts to reach and resolve the company *********** have been unsuccessful. I am unable to cancel my membership due to inability to login to the web-based version, which is where I initially signed up. Since September 2023, I have been subscribed to the ********************* which charges me 21.2 USD every month. However, starting from December 2023, I noticed that my debit card was being charged twice. I have never used any other ******* account or authorized any additional payments. In September 2024, I canceled my original ChatGPT Plus subscription, but the extra charges continued. OpenAI informed me that another account had subscribed to the service, but they provided no further details. I had no choice but to report the issue as fraud to my bank and changed my card number, yet the charges still appeared this month. OpenAI has not provided further assistance or mentioned a refund for the 212 USD. They should stop that charge and refund all authorized money.
