    This complaint is being filed because I was suspended by Discord off of their *********** account was hacked and an assailant received access to my account credentials via a malware file titled "Mildors" which infected my laptop. After the hacker attempted to ****** my account to me under the username "syuensr09obsm" (I blocked and deleted their messages but Discord will likely have access to them), they posted inflammatory content using my credentials. An attempt to create a new account was met with a ban for ban violation, rendering me unable to use the platform after my accounts were reclaimed.I tried making multiple tickets with Discord support and reached out to their account via X, but without a human agent I was unable to explain my account compromise to them.

Would it be possible to discuss an appeal with a human agent, through which I could prove that the actions which resulted in my ban were from a malicious third party which took control of my account?

    I have attached further details regarding my case below:

    - On July 9th 2025 the hacker was able to access my credentials and log in from an IP address outside of *****************. I am based in the *************. You can verify this if you check the log-in locations of the account. They also deleted my email, and it looked like the hacker is based in ******. I am not based in ****** (see reference image "ReferenceTwo)

    - The hacker later reached out to me under the username "syuensr09obsm" (see image titled "ReferenceThree"). Please review their message history, you will see their activity. If the messages are no longer visible, they were likely deleted by the hacker on both my and their accounts while they had access to my account. If you have a way to look at my deleted messages and blocked users, you will likely see them. I was able to reach out to other accounts warning them on that day. You can review my chat logs with the user "*********" to see that another person was using my account to spread malware, and how I was trying to warn them that there was another person using my account.

    -I attached screenshots of myself reaching out to several people on the day of the incident requesting help with the incident, along with the account they requested I reach out to on other social media. They demanded a ****** of $200 in our correspondence. (See reference image "ReferenceOne"

    I had submitted a ticket via the link provided. However, the automated response did not detect the proof provided and closed the ticket. I would like to talk to a human agent, if possible.

    This complaint is being filed because I was falsely suspended by Discord off of their platform.I haven't done anything wrong and I believe my suspension should be lifted and my account ************* somebody who is involved with the furry community. The furry community is where furry conventions that happen all over the world started, and theres a community for that on discord. And I am a member whos very much involved with it, Im not a furry myself, but I do hang with furries. And I do not have any NSFW or Sexual intents with anything that goes on in there and I dont plan to.Then one day, July 30, 2025, I get banned from discord over a message I sent in April, while I was roleplaying with my other furry friends, and they were playing as their Yoshi Sona from the ******** Franchise, One as a Dog Sona, and one as a *** ****. And I was playing as my Human Sona. We were roleplaying with playful, love affection, sharing playful kisses and cuddles that werent romantic, and were just as if a pet owner would be giving their pet dog or cat a kiss and cuddle. But as we were doing that roleplay, with nothing harmful, nsfw, or violating child safety, discord 3 months later bans me for it, saying I violated child safety when I clearly didnt and the conversation shows that. We were all around the same age at the time, we were 16, 17, I think one of them was turning 18, and one was 19, but this was just fictional and it was never intended to happen in person, and it was entirely playful and safe as accordance to the screenshots. Nobody was violating child safety and everything was kept safe. Now I lost so much on discord, such as all of my close friends, old photos, and my personal information stored between a direct message conversation, such as my SSN, passwords, etc.And when I tried appealing, discord just kept giving me back an automatic response without actually taking look into it or any action, I never received an actual message from an actual human being.

    They didnt even look into it and this is still the same automated response I keep getting. They havent actually looked over this carefully because there was physical proof that none of it was violating child safety, we were around the age group needed, and we were doing something each furry community does. If what we did was wrong they need to get all other furry communities in trouble, because this was absolutely invalid. Theyve been using ai this entire time and they havent even taken the time to let an actual human being look into it. Its the same response every single time. They need an actual human to look into it, as they havent done anything about it that is actually useful.

    I am filing this complaint regarding an account ban, a service I have used since 2016. I have been a long time paying subscriber for most of that time, consistently supporting the platform.Recently, my account was permanently banned without warning due to an automated moderation system that falsely flagged an image I shared. There was no prior notice, warning, or temporary suspensionjust an immediate, permanent ban based solely on an automated system.I submitted an appeal immediately, but all I have received are automated, generic replies with no evidence that a real person has reviewed my case. Despite multiple attempts to resolve this, I have been completely ********** addition to my own subscription history, I currently have three months of active gifted subscription from friends, which will be entirely wasted if my account is not restored. This unfair ban has not only locked me out of the platform but has caused me and others financial loss.     I respectfully reject the response. Once again, I have been given a generic, automated reply that fails to provide any specific explanation or evidence of the alleged Terms of Service or Community Guidelines violation.

    Despite the company claiming a "review" was conducted, no details of the violation, no context, and no confirmation that a human reviewed my appeal have been provided. The language of the response is identical to previous automated messages, which raises serious doubts about the legitimacy of this so-called review.

    Additionally, my account was permanently banned without warning over a falsely flagged image by their automated moderation system. As a paying customer since 2016 with active gifted subscription time remaining, I believe I deserve a transparent, evidence-based explanation and a real human reviewnot repeated denials without substance.

    Discord continues to claim there was a Terms of Service or Community Guidelines violation without providing any proof, specific details, or context. This makes it impossible for meor the BBBto verify the legitimacy of their decision. The wording in their response is identical to the automated messages sent by their support system, strongly suggesting that no meaningful or human review has taken place despite their claims.

    My account, active since 2016 with a long paid subscription history, was permanently banned without warning due to an automated false flag over an image. I currently have three months of gifted subscription time that will be lost if my account is not restored. No evidence or case details have been provided, despite repeated requests.

    I was wrongfully suspended from using the app, and Ive sent several appeal tickets and all Ive been getting is bot replies. I cant seem to get past the robots through customer support and talk to a real person who can help me with my issues. The reason I was wrongfully suspended is because the robot scanned a meme I sent to my friend and flagged it as a child safety risk wrongfully and immediately restricted me without any warning at all. I sent an appeal for the punishment I was wrongfully given before I went to bed, the following day I woke up with my account just completely gone and all the money and time I put into it just wrongfully taken away from me without even a look over the report from an actual human being.

    I am rejecting this response because: The meme I sent was directly from a ************ which I would be happy to provide a link to if you guys dont believe me but its just crazy to me how Im being accused to spreading cp when its somehow allowed on ******* ToS but not on discord? Ive gotten sent much worse pieces of media in discord while I was a minor and the people who have sent pictures and messages to me have known of my age have never even gotten a slap on a wrist. Its just disheartening to me because like I previously stated, Ive spent a lot of time and money on the app and Im losing so much of my childhood memories just because the company wont take the time and effort to really investigate my case. And also the first punishment I was given was already insanely harsh and after I tried to have it looked at by a human operator and get help, I ended up getting permanently banned instead without warning. I would have taken the attachment restriction over a permanent ban if I knew I was gonna receive a much harsher punishment by trying to plead my case.

    I am rejecting this response because: Hello! Ive been facing some issues with getting ***** of some help with my account being appealed on discords support website. I know you guys in the Trust and Safety team are spread pretty thin and are doing your best, and I really appreciate your guys work even though I dont know if thisll come through at all! Anyway, I was falsely permanently banned on discord for child safety by the bot and I tried to see what message I sent that I was banned for and Im thinking it was maybe a picture or gif that the bot scanned falsely because I know for a fact I havent said or done anything to trigger the ban at all. At first, the bot just restricted my account from sending pictures at all for 2 years and then when I tried to appeal it the night of, I woke up to being permanently banned. I wouldnt be making all this effort if I didnt really care for the friends, memories, time, and money I have on the app because I feel as if its pretty extreme to have one of the only things keeping me going through the day taken away from me for good and I dont even know for sure what the cause was for it. Ive made several tickets to try to get someone to help me with my problem and all Ive been met with is the same robot replies with no sympathy or assistance at all and also the ticket sometimes will just be marked as solved automatically without even getting any reply. Ive really been struggling mentally lately since I just have a lot of unfortunate things happening to me in life as of right now and I consider all my friends from discord as the only emotional support beams I have in my life right now, I dont have any other way to communicate with them so in a way this problem changes my life drastically. Lastly, I dont know what I did but Im incredibly sorry for doing it and Ill educate myself further on the Discord code of conduct and make sure it doesnt ever happen again, please give me another chance, Discord Team.

    I have been a user of ********************** for almost 10 years. My account was suddenly banned on August 3rd, 2025 for child safety. No specific proof was given regarding why it was banned. In almost 10 years on Discord I have never even gotten so much as a warning on my account, and suddenly it got permanently banned. I have tried to reach out to Discord, only to get an automated message that states it will not be reinstated. I want to have someone manually review my case as I have never done anything to endanger children on Discord and I'm doing the opposite trying to make tools to prevent incidents. Discord needs to be open and transparent regarding these, especially given the *************'s my oringal suspension appeal for reference;"I am writing to formally request a review of my account suspension.     The response I've received is a generic AI copy and paste response many people have gotten and does not address my other concerns as I still don't know what specific proof Discord's AI filter flagged, why I was automatically suspended without warning, if I can still make and use an account for my job, and if any human has taken the time to consider my honest mistake.

    I am more than willing to have a dialogue and compromise with the business if possible especially with my long good standing on the platform and support through Nitro membership so I only feel like it would be fair. Discord is a huge factor in my current life socially and economically, I genuinely didn't mean to impact it in such a negative way and would just like to speak to an employee.

    I understand and respect Discords decision, but I hope you might consider the profound impact this situation has had on me.
    Id like to reiterate that Discord is more than just a communication platform for me its an essential part of my personal life and professional work. Being unable to access my account for an extended period has been deeply distressing and has affected both my personal connections and ongoing projects. I genuinely value the community and the platforms role in my daily life.

    I want to clarify that my actions were driven solely by my work on an AI side project, where I was testing content to improve detection models. I had no intention of violating community guidelines or causing harm. I understand the importance of adhering to policies, and I regret any oversight on my part.
    However, I must also express that I find the generic nature of the responses I have received quite disheartening. As a user who has invested a significant amount of time and resources into this platform, I would expect a higher standard of customer support. The lack of specific details or personalized communication makes it difficult for me to understand the exact issues or how I might address them appropriately.

    Given the circumstances, I kindly ask again for your understanding and consideration of a few questions:
    - Is it possible for me to use an account strictly for work-related activities without risking further penalties or being considered a repeat offender?

    I was wrongfully banned from Discord by an AI which automatically detected keywords in my message and instantly banned me. Upon appealing, I was met with a response by an AI, automatically declining it... I used Discord actively for 9 years, *********, and I never had a previous infraction on my account. I was then faced with a permanent ban, and no human to actually extract the context from my messages. Instead, a soulless, nerveless bot pulled the trigger, and an AI declined my chance at redemption. I not only made money on Discord through various connections I had made, but I was also a longtime user and treating me this unfairly is just plain wrong. I don't want nor deserve financial compensation, all I want is an actual chance at an appeal. I don't use Discord maliciously, and if a human were to have looked at my account, they would have seen this. It's also worth mentioning, their AI is very clearly broken, and will ban people instantly for nothing. I recommend checking out "r/discordsucks" on Reddit, I myself looked for answers and found many people in this community have been wrongfully banned. This is also where I got the idea to ask the Better Business Bureau for help... Even if nothing comes of this, I greatly appreciate this message even being read by a human being. That alone is better than what I've been met with...

    On 7/23/25, we determined that the user violated our Terms of Service and Community Guidelines. We have reviewed and confirmed the violation, and we will not be reinstating the account in question.

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me, even though I still consider Discord utter garbage and anyone who uses the platform deserves to know just how terrible the service is. I am ashamed to have spent 9 years of my life on such a website. As I said previously, thanks for actually reading my messages and treating me like a person. The BBB has earned my respect.

    This complaint is being filed because I was falsely suspended by Discord off of their platform.I havent done anything wrong and I believe my suspension should be lifted and my account reinstated.This suspension had occurred in around Augustof 2025.I tried making multiple tickets with discord support, but I havent gotten a single reply from a real human back.These were usually automated responses , without someone actually looking at the ticket or taking any action
