    I am filing this complaint regarding Discord **** for unfair account restrictions without providing a valid reason or resolution.On 8th August 2025 my Discord account @***** associated email: ******************** was suddenly limited in access. I was given no prior warning, no clear explanation, and no specific evidence of any alleged violation of Discords Terms of Service. My attempts to contact Discord support have only resulted in me being ghosted. I cannot talk to any of my friend in direct messages and when I check my account standing, it says "all clear" and that I have not done anything wrong. Please remove this restriction off my account I haven't done anything wrong

    My account on this platform was randomly disabled due to no fault of my own. I received an email stating that my account was determined to be a bot due to the amount of messages sent, among other things. I did send several friend requests and messages fairly quickly after signing up, however that is because I added all of my friends that already have accounts. I submitted a ticket to discord days ago, and have received no response. It's not fair that they can just turn off people's profiles for no reason and then leave them no way to speak to a real person. I am looking for help in getting my account reinstated with this platform.

    This complaint is being filed because I was falsely suspended by Discord off of their platform.Someone logged into discord via my phone and got banned and they didn't tell me.when I logged into my account I was banned immediately for ban evasion. I havent done anything wrong and I believe my suspension should be lifted and my account reinstated.This suspension had occurred on 19th March of 2025.I tried making multiple tickets with discord support, but I havent gotten a single reply from a real human back. These were usually automated responses , without someone actually looking at the ticket or taking any action. Please look into the matter

    i'm writing to appeal a ban I received in early July. I believe it was triggered by a message I sent to a friend who jokingly said he was 5 years old due to being born on ***********. In response, I made a sarcastic joke using the word smash, which I now understand could have been taken entirely out of context and seen as inappropriate.The message was 100% a joke between friends, and the friend involved was not offended at all. However, I fully understand how it could violate Discords guidelines when viewed without context. I take full responsibility and truly regret making a joke that could be misunderstood in such a serious way.Ive learned from this and would like to assure you that it wont happen again.     Hello, I recently saw that my account received a temporary suspension for "harassment and bullying" on July 30, 2025. I can't figure out why, whether it's permanent, or how long it will last. I'd also like to point out that I've never sent a message like this before, and I'm likely referring to someone being suspended for harassment and bullying, or a moderation issue. Discord crashes when I try to click the "Get more information" button, so I can't fully explain why. I'd appreciate it if you could provide me with more information about this suspension. I'd also like to reiterate that I haven't done anything that violates the harassment and bullying policy.

    My discord account was wrongfully and immorally suspended. There appears to have been a hiccup in their moderation, as I did not commit anything against TOS and was wrongfully suspended.The suspension happened yesterday, Saturday August 9th, 2025.I havent been able to get in contact with a real human from the support team.I believe the ban should be lifted off my account as I have not done anything wrong. Ive been a paying discord nitro user for two years, and have the had account for 6 with no previous violations. I request a more in depth review of this violation or at least an explanation of why it got suspended. I use discord for both education and schooling as well as entertainment purposes and have for years.     I am rejecting this response because: I'm not entirely against the decision, if my account was reviewed and I really violated the ToS, I accept that. But, I do not agree that I'm prohibited of making another accounts, so I would like to give out a message and a request to discord if possible that I prepared with the upmost respect and sincerity:

    I hope youre doing well. Im reaching out to respectfully request a review of the permanent suspension on my account ".jpma."

    I totally get that my actions were a violation of Discord's Terms of Service/Community Guidelines, and I do take full responsibility. I apologize for the things that I did, and I have thought about how I can avoid them from occurring again. I read thoroughly the ToS and to match that request as much as possible.

    I am not requesting to restore the suspended account, but instead asking to be granted an opportunity for a fresh start by permitting me to open a new account in complete accordance with Discord's guidelines. My intention is to contribute to the community in a positive, respectful, and responsible manner in the future. All I want is to communicate with the people I love from anywhere and resume my work on the game I was making.

    I comprehend the severity of account suspensions and I acknowledge the time and effort the Trust & Safety team invests in making Discord a safe environment. If afforded the chance, I will ensure my behavior is upheld by the standards of the platform.

If literally any human looked at this ban I received they will see this. It was a screenshot of a report. I did not say anything that broke the rules of the platform, but whatever they used to detect it detected the screenshot of the reported text I sent and banned me. You can see in the screenshot I have attached there is nothing in what I said that breaks their rules for hateful conduct.This suspension had occurred in around May 18th of 2025.I tried making multiple tickets with discord support, but I havent gotten a single reply from a real human back.These were usually automated responses, without someone actually looking at the ticket or taking any action.

    My support ticket was closed without removing the "suspicious activity" flag from my Discord account and without providing proof of VPN or proxy use on my Discord account. ********************** has full access to the logs of IP addresses that have been associated with my account, they know that this is not an accurate representation of what actually happened.

    What actually happened was that I attempted to add a user that had my account blocked too many times (about ***** attempts clicking/tapping the "add friend" button within the span of 60 seconds) while I was waiting for a mutual contact to confirm that they had unblocked me and that is what flagged my account. I was logged off automatically and told to verify a phone number after only a few seconds of performing that action. I admitted this in the support ticket and apologized for not realizing that action carried such a steep penalty. I even stated that I would avoid repeating that action from that point onward.

    Mandating a phone number be permanently attached to an account of 9 years of age in perfect community standing (no rules ever broken) is an unacceptable privacy practice. It is discriminating when it is only mandated from Discord accounts flagged as suspicious with no recourse available for the end user to reverse the decision by proving that they are not abusing the Discord Terms of Service (no VPN or proxy usage and no bad actors or third parties accessing my account) as opposed to phone number verification being mandated of every account.

    None of my friends using Discord are required to attach a phone number to use their accounts, I do not own a personal phone number and the phone number on my Discord account is not mine. I do not want that number leaked if Discord gets hacked or compromised in the future. That is not an unreasonable concern. I have even spent money on your platform in the past, paying customers deserve better privacy practices from your company.

    I am willing to drop this complaint entirely if my account is unflagged and the phone number requirement is removed as well as Discord support staff removing the phone number currently associated with my Discord account themselves so as not to kick me off of my account again. Thank you.

    I am rejecting this response because: I fully believe my account was falsely suspended due to the faulty ai detection software used by discord **** Once again I must bring to attention when I recivied both child safety violations neither one had shown me a direct message, link and or attachment that would show me what directly got me banned. I had done reasearch on this to discover the most likely reason was due to the ai. I must also bring up about 2 days ago my discord account was fully disabled for a short while rendering unable to view my account standing, though discord *** had sent me an email to change the password to my account and which I was able to re activate my account however I am still currently permanently suspended. I check my account standing ***** and I see discord *** removed only ONE of my child safety violations however they gave me a brand new one. It does not make sense for me to even get a new one as how was I able to violate while being suspended. I must also inform you I have sent an a Potential Arbitration email to discords legal team that being ******************************************************************* , As I keep my stance of being wrongfully suspended. Discord *** has yet to respond to that email which I have made about a week ago or so. I simply want to resolve this issue by having discord *** lift both false child safety bans on my account as once again I strictly am postive that I was false banned due to their ai. I have also done my research on others who have been in the same situation as I have and so far discord *** is known for falsely banning others with a very similar context as my own. Discord *** has **************************************************************************************************************************************** I will have no choice but to pursue Abiotration against discord **** I will be provding screenshots of the events that took place about 4 days ago in which my account was disabled, reanable, and where I was given a new violation again with no message to show why I had recivied it. I truly hope I do not need to esculate this matter further and simply have my account no longer suspended.

    I am rejecting this response because: Once again, I am confident that I did not vilolate Discord **** Terms of service. I have already explained my reasoning in my initial complaint along with my previous reponse. U must also bring up the fact that this is a common reoccuring issue on social media in the communities of discord **** It's not just me who is suffering from this False ban. The slightest research you do on this matter, you will find many other people on the internet who have / are in the same situation as me or have a very ****** rcontext as me. There is also a popular subreddit that has a section that is DEDICATED to other users also being permanently suspended off discord ***s. for the same exact violation. Even outside of the Reddit platform, you will discover discord has still yet to even make a public annoucnment about these false child safety violations their ai detection has given to multiple users across the internet. As early as last year this has been a constant issue. I really must inform you that I am NOT the only person in this unfortunate situation. I also would like to inform you on discord ***s. support system, when anyone attempts to appeal such a violation or any other for this matter, they are instantly disregarded by an automatic response rather than reciving human review and ultimately being disregarded by said ai. Reaching out to discord **** on the * platform is of no help whatsoever. From what I have seen thusfar, the ONLY WAY discord **** will actually help out in this very situation or something similar is if users either reach out to the BBB or threaten arbitration against that of discord *** then they all of a sudden either finally review and unban a user or they regardless jsut ignore both ways of communication. I will remind you once more that this is a COMMON issue that discord **** refuses to fix let alone address, I am one of MANY users who have been given the False Child Safety violations and worse discord **** refuses to assist us and undo the mistake their ai detection has done. I truly do not want to take this to court but if discord **** does not have a human review my situation and have my false violations lifted and me having access to my account, I will have no choice but to pursue arbitration against discord **** I can 99% be confident in the response discord **** gave to the BBB to foward to myself, was most definitely another automated response from their end and they arent actually having a real human investigate this matter. I will be providing the screenshot of the Potential Arbitration email I sent to discord **** but I will also be providing the subreddit forum of others on the internet who are experiencing the exact same issue as I am. I not only hope the BBB can successfully get through to discord *** and have contact with a real person, but I also hope discord **** finally has a real person investigate my issue and reverse the permanently suspension and lift the FALSE violations all on my account.
