    When I opened my account I went to unblock certain users whom I no longer wanted to keep blocked for certain reasons. I was opening the *** I had with them and looked for anything that showed why I had blocked those certain people. as I was doing that, my account logged me out without warning and when I logged back in it told me to re-verify which is something I have never had to do, as I have on 2 step Authentication. When I did, I went to my account standing and saw that it was at "Limited" which never happened before. It had said I had violated their Spam policy but I never broke their policy at such high volumes that they had listed and never did such harmful behaviors, I filed a request and they emailed me saying the possibilities that could have given me that Spam Violation which I responded with saying how I never once done those things throughout the many years I had this account. I really need this account and wish for the violations to be removed, and will reply with any necessary info that you may need to help me fix my account, Thank you.

    o Whom It May Concern,I am filing a complaint against Discord regarding a mistaken subscription purchase. On 16 August 2025, I intended to buy a monthly Discord Nitro subscription, but due to a mistake, an annual subscription was purchased instead.Immediately after realizing this, I contacted Discord support and requested a refund so I could switch to the correct plan. However, the support bot (*****) responded that my purchase was not eligible for a refund, even though this was a genuine mistake and the service was not used in bad faith.I believe this practice is unfair to consumers. Other digital platforms usually allow reasonable refunds, especially for subscription mistakes. Discords rigid refund policy unfairly restricts consumer rights.I kindly request BBBs assistance to resolve this issue by asking Discord to:Cancel the annual subscription, and Issue a full refund so I can purchase the intended monthly subscription.Attached are screenshots of my communication with Discord support.Payment number: ******************* Thank you for your time and assistance.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    I am not satisfied with the business response. I made this purchase by mistake (I intended to buy a monthly ***** subscription but accidentally purchased the annual plan). I noticed the mistake quickly and even purchased the correct monthly Nitro Basic afterward. I canceled the annual subscription immediately, but Discord refused to issue a refund.

    This policy is unfair to consumers, especially for annual charges where the full amount (1049 TL) is withdrawn at once. I was not acting in bad faith; this was a genuine error. I kindly request BBBs assistance to urge Discord to issue a refund or at least a partial refund for the unused months.

    I am rejecting this response because:

     

    *I must reject this response as it is not an actual solution to my complaint. The business has simply repeated the same statement as before without addressing my specific situation.

     

    I did not attempt to exploit the system. I made a genuine mistake (I intended to purchase a monthly subscription but accidentally purchased an annual one). I noticed the mistake immediately, purchased the correct monthly plan, and canceled the annual plan. Yet I was denied a refund.

     

    The companys policy of allowing refunds only within 5 days is unfair to consumers, especially for annual subscriptions where the entire charge (1049 TL) is withdrawn at once. Other platforms allow partial (pro-rata) refunds for unused months, which is a fair and common practice.

     

    By refusing to provide even a partial refund, Discord is forcing consumers into an unreasonable position. This may also conflict with *** consumer protection standards and payment processor (e.g., Stripe) compliance guidelines.

     

    I respectfully request BBBs assistance in urging the business to reconsider and provide a refund (full or partial) for the annual plan I mistakenly purchased.

    This complaint's being filed cause I was falsely suspended by Discord off of their platform. I havent done anything wrong and I believe my suspension should be lifted and my account reinstated. The suspension on my account occured earlier this month (August 2025) over a misunderstanding. I tried making multiple tickets with discord support to resolve this misunderstanding but I havent received a single reply from a real human back. Every reply given were automated responses, without someone actually looking at the ticket or taking any action towards helping me resolve this issue.The two accounts affected are "almost.april" and "maymcleen" (which was suspended automatically for "ban evasion")

    This complaint is being filed because I was falsely suspended by Discord off of their platform. I havent done anything wrong and I believe my suspension should be lifted and my account reinstated. This suspension had occurred today (16th of August). And I would not like to do a ticket because discord support takes very long and the answer isnt human, it is all AI. I want a human to see what I did, because I know that I haven't posted one "child safety" media anywhere. Me and my friends all got warned at the same time, three of them were limited and I was the only one who got suspended immediatly without even any warnings..     Discord Server ID: ****************** I'm submitting a formal complaint regarding this server due to the persistent and unmoderated use of harmful slurs by its members. After conducting a search within the server, I found deeply concerning results: the r-slur has been used approximately ***** times, the f-slur 53 times, and the n-word 51 times. These are not isolated incidents but represent a widespread and ongoing problem within the community.For a server with several hundred members, this level of hate speech is not only alarming but also completely unacceptable. The lack of moderation suggests either negligence or indifference on the part of the server administrators. There appears to be no meaningful effort to enforce community guidelines or maintain a safe and respectful environment for members.Allowing this kind of language to go unchecked creates a toxic and hostile atmosphere, especially for individuals who are part of marginalized communities. It undermines the values of inclusion and safety that any online community should uphold.Given the extent of the issue and the clear failure to moderate harmful content, I strongly believe that this server should be taken down. Continued inaction only enables further harm and perpetuates a space where discrimination and hate speech are normalized.

    am reaching out regarding my Discord account suspension, which I believe was a misunderstanding. I am pleading for a human to review my case because the automated appeal system has been closing my tickets without giving me the chance to properly explain.When I had just turned 18, I made an extremely poor and offensive joke with a friend where I said, I can officially groom minors. This was a terrible lapse in judgment, and I regret it deeply. The statement does not reflect who I am, my values, or how I behave. I want to stress that this was only a misguided joke from a long time ago, not an action or ************ truth, I am a survivor of grooming and sexual assault myself, and I now understand how harmful, inappropriate, and dangerous that kind of statement can be. I also live with BPD and ****************, which sometimes cause manic episodes and impulsive behavior. Still, I take full responsibility for what I said, and I am genuinely remorseful.If Discord were to review my entire account history, direct messages, and activity, they would see that I only interact with a small circle of friends who are 18+ like me.     This complaint is being filed because I was falsely suspended by Discord from their platform. I am submitting this complaint again because, in my previous attempt, I was told that I still had an open ticket yet I only received the same automated bot response in it.I have been a Discord user for over seven years and have never engaged in any behavior that would warrant a suspension. The suspension, which occurred on 11 August 2025 for alleged ban evading, is completely unfounded. I have never attempted to evade a ban, and I have no history of violating Discords rules.The only alternate accounts I have ever had were two that I lost years ago after unknowingly clicking scam links, before I understood such risks. I also once used a VPN, though I am unsure if that could have triggered any automated action. Regardless, I have never engaged in any harmful or rule-breaking activity.I previously operated a server with over ***** members, and I do not want to lose access to the community I have built over the years. When I contacted Discord support, I was instructed to reach out from the account that allegedly violated the rulesan account I do not have access to and have no information about. Since then, my tickets have either been closed without proper review or met with the same automated response telling me to apply from the account in question, which I never had so cannot do.Given my clean record and long-standing positive presence on Discord, I respectfully request that my suspension be reviewed, lifted, and my account reinstated.

    Hello, I was permanently suspended on Thursday August 14th, for an alleged violation under the Child Safety policy for "CSAM". I strongly believe that this action is the result of a misunderstanding. The image I sent was with no harmful intent whatsoever. It did not involve any inappropriate or exploitative behavior as I read the Child Safety policy to see that it was not in any of the violations of it. I kindly request that you check my chat history surrounding the message and reconsider your decision. I am confident that my actions did not violate Discord's Child Safety policy.     I was accused by discord of violating a rule of ToS or GC which was child safety which i had not sent anything to a minor or did any harm to anyone within discord. I was in with some friends talking about **** and asked to see some of the nsfw or people getting caught doing horrible things which i do not recall being harmful, uncomfortable or anything along those term this was from ******* or a different application/ platform soon after that it had lead me into permanent suspension for violating a rule which was just an 18 plus server.
