    My friend and I have paid for $100 USD Nitro and gotten falsely banned on Discord. My Discord account, @tianmishu, and my friend's account, @escapingthesunrise were falsely banned for "child safety". Both myself and my friend reported a message made by a 15 year old containing an inappropriate image. My friend had forwarded the image to the owner of the server the message was sent in to ban the person who sent the image, and I had reported it shortly after seeing it. For some reason both myself and my friend were permanently suspended for child safety, and both of us have made purchases including $100 USD Nitro on our accounts.

    My Discord account with the name (mlntchi), email: ************************ was wrongfully disabled under the reason of Child Safety. I was playing the game Raft in a voice call with my friend when I was logged out of my account and banned. I immediately filed an appeal through the official Discord ************** system, but I have received no response. I was never shown any evidence of a violation, only the vague reason provided in the ban notice.I strongly believe this action was taken in error, most likely the result of automated moderation tools misinterpreting content. I have never engaged in any activity related to child safety violations, and the lack of transparency or communication has left me unable to defend myself.This account is extremely important to me, it is over 9 years old, and I use it daily for both personal and professional purposes. My Discord is where I stay connected with close friends, run my community, and manage aspects of my streaming and art career. Losing access has cut me off from nearly every part of my social, creative and professional life.I respectfully request that Discord provide a fair review of my case, share the reasoning or evidence behind the suspension, and reinstate my account if no actual violation occurred.     I am writing to follow up on the recent response I received through my Better Business Bureau complaint, where my account ban was once again upheld without explanation. While I understand Discords need to protect community safety, I believe my case has not been fairly reviewed.
    My account of over 9 years was banned for Child Safety violations. However, I was given no evidence, no cited messages, no timestamps, and no opportunity to understand the supposed violation. I strongly believe this action may have been the result of an AI moderation error or targeted mass-reporting by individuals with a personal vendetta against me.
    This account is not just a personal accountit is central to my life and work. I use it to run my art business, streaming community, and friendships built over nearly a decade. To have it permanently closed without proof or meaningful review has caused real harm.
    I am once again requesting:
    A specific explanation of the alleged violation.
    A manual review by a human moderator, not just automated systems.
    Reconsideration of the permanent ban in light of my clean history and the importance of this account to my livelihood.
    If Discord is unwilling to provide transparency, I will have no choice but to escalate further through consumer protection channels. I am still hopeful this can be resolved fairly.

    Hello Discord Support,
    I am writing again regarding the permanent suspension of my account. Each time Ive submitted an appeal, I have only received automated responses stating that the violation was confirmed, without any specific explanation or evidence provided.
    I respectfully ask for the following:
    A clear explanation of the exact action or message that led to the ban.
    Confirmation that a human reviewed my case, rather than only automated moderation or templated replies.
    This account has been active for over 9 years and is deeply tied to my personal connections, my art business, and my streaming community. Losing it without clarity or fair review has caused significant harm, especially since I believe this action may have been triggered by malicious mass reports rather than an actual policy violation.
    I am not asking for special treatmentonly for transparency, accountability, and the same fairness that every user deserves. Without specific evidence, it is impossible to understand what rule was broken, or to defend myself against what may have been an error in moderation.
    Please escalate this ticket to a senior support member for a proper review. I want to resolve this respectfully, but I cannot accept automated dismissals as a substitute for due process.

    Unresolved Quest Reward Issue (Ticket #********)I am filing this complaint because Discord Support has stopped responding to my ticket regarding an uncredited Quest reward. This is regarding the 'Wildgate launch quest' promoted by Dreamhaven, which required me to watch a video. The reward was 700 Discord ******* Discord User ID is ******************** contacted support (ticket #********) when I was unable to claim the reward. The support agent, **** B, provided troubleshooting steps that were irrelevant to the Quest, as it was a video-watching task, not a game. I explained this multiple times, and even provided the Quest link to prove the requirement was only to watch a video.The Quest has since ended, making it impossible to perform any troubleshooting or retries. The support agent's final response stated they had 'exhausted all of the suggestions' and could not help further, despite my clear explanation that their suggestions did not apply to the nature of the Quest.Since I couldn't receive my reward. I am seeking a resolution where Discord manually credits the 700 orbs to my account. I have provided all necessary information and screenshots to the support team, but the conversation has been abandoned.

    I am rejecting this response because I find the business's response unsatisfactory.

    The response is a direct quote from the last email I received from Discord Support. It completely fails to address the central issue of my complaint. I provided a detailed explanation, including screenshots of the email conversation, showing that the troubleshooting advice they offered was entirely irrelevant to the nature of the Quest.

    The Quest was for watching a video, not playing a game. Therefore, their troubleshooting steps about game compatibility, third-party software, and reinstallation were not applicable and provided no path to a resolution.

    The Quest has now ended, so there is no possibility for me to retry it. The 700 orbs were never credited to my account. I am requesting that Discord, Inc. review my case beyond the standard support script and manually credit the 700 orbs to my account as a good faith gesture. Their response demonstrates that they have not understood or properly investigated the specific issue I raised.

    The response provided is a direct copy-and-paste of the final email I received from Discord Support, and it completely fails to address the specific points I raised in my complaint.

    My complaint details were clear:
    The Quest was to watch a video, not to play a game.
    Discord's troubleshooting advice was based on gaming and was therefore irrelevant.
    The Quest has now ended, making any further troubleshooting or retries impossible.

    Discord's response simply states that they have 'exhausted all of the suggestions' and cannot help, which demonstrates that they have not properly reviewed the details of my complaint. They are using a generic response to close a case without providing a genuine resolution.

    I am requesting that Discord, Inc. revisit this issue and provide a proper resolution, which is to credit the 700 orbs to my account.

    Hello! My name is ***. I go by Lao0083 on Discord. The other day my account was randomly suspended at around 8:30 AM. I put time, money, and resources into Discord and I simply wish to be unbanned immediately. I have done nothing wrong. Heck I don't even talk to anyone but my family and relatives on the App. This is greatly impacting my daily life.I simply wish to be unbanned as the resolution. I believe there was a hacker in my account as well, I updated my account info but as said I was banned unfortunately. I have no idea what could of triggered this aside from being in a server that got swept up in a mess without me knowing. Any help you lovely people could provide would be wonderful.     I havent done anything wrong and I believe my suspension should be lifted and my account reinstated. ******* needs to be reinstated.

     

    This suspension had occurred in around August of 2025. 

     

    I tried making multiple tickets with discord support, but I havent gotten a single reply from a real human back as shown with you guys. They have the nerve to send the BBB bot responses isn't that insane?

    On October 17 2024, My discord account "fwoshyfwosh" (its email is ********************************* was falsely banned for "child safety. When i was banned i received an email, but it never told me why i was banned/evidence or proof. I know i was falsely banned as I wasn't even on the account at the time (siblings were) I know what they said was uncalled for but i believe i shouldn't have been banned. Also, when i was first banned, i received SEVERAL "warnings/ban messages" on the discord app, which means i wasn't even able to have a chance to reflect on what happened, once i got the messages i was banned. I've tried appealing through discord itself, they weren't much help. They never supplied me with any evidence, even when requested to talk to a real human, it was all just AI. I myself am 17 (turnt this year) which means when those messages were sent last year, i wasnt even an adult. Nor was the person i was talking a child. (They were i believe *****, definitely older than me) I understand that it looks very bad, but i know i wasn't thinking straight when i said that, and nor am i a danger to children. When that i happened i was both with my older siblings. We are not dangers. They have accounts too and you can check their entire message history (i can send if you want it) After trying with discord, i got fed up with the responses they gave me and tried to appeal with BBB, so please, if i can have a chance at redemption, a chance to understand my problems are fix them, i will take it respectfully, you could even place restrictions on the account. I also spent money on that account (nitro) so banning me just like that also doesn't make sense. I know the messages looked harmful but they were not. The conversation was supervised and meant ZERO harm. I am full of shame and regret, even after almost a year since. To summarize, i'd like to be unbanned, and also receive evidence to what i said cause technically i only know because people told me. Please and Thank you.

    I am rejecting this response because: I believe i was unfairly moderated. Like mentioned before, when i was banned, it was instantly. I go to bed one night and wake up in the morning and im banned. The only other time i had ever been warned was when a friend jokingly did it a few months earlier, i just never appealed because i didnt understand what happened. When i got banned i got hit with several warnings which led instantly to a ban. I was given no chance to address the situation and under stand it, just a ban. Thats why im atleast asking for an unban. Restrictions can be placed on me, i dont care. I believe this was unfair and i reject the response you have given me. One more chance.

    I am rejecting this response because: I still believe i was treated unfairly. I'd like a chance before i  threaten legal action against Discord. While i agree what i said was out of pocket, i provided context and apologized for my past actions, which is why i still asked for redemption and one more chance. Like mentioned before, I was basically banned in just seconds, as i received like 5 warnings which doesn't make sense. If im going to be banned it should've just been the 3 that i originaly had. Everything wiped in a instant.
