I have been suspended from the Discord platform, which was taken out of context. I'd like my violation to be removed and my account reinstated. I'd like a human and not AI to review this. Hello,I am a long-time Discord user from ********, and I recently discovered that my main account has been deactivated. I rely on Discord daily to communicate with my friends and participate in communities, and Ive supported the platform through Nitro for a long time. Losing access to my account has been very upsetting, and Im hoping for a fair review of the situation.The ban occurred after a group chat where several members, including myself, were pressured to say inappropriate things. One member later mass-reported the chat, and I received three violations from this single situation. I understand that my behavior in that chat was not appropriate, and I sincerely regret it. I have already apologized to Discord *************** and I take full responsibility for my actions. However, the context of the mass-reporting was unfair, and I feel that my account was penalized ************** addition, I had two other accounts that I was already logged into prior to the ban. Those accounts were automatically banned for ban evasion, even though I was not attempting to circumvent the ban. I now understand why Discords system flagged them, but I want to clarify that I never intended to avoid consequences.Discord is very important to me. I use it to stay connected with friends, participate in communities, and enjoy the platform responsibly. on 11/6/2024 my discord account was unfairly banned for Malicious Conduct but at that time I had no access to the account because it was hacked. Perhaps my account was hacked or violated some my personal info that are linked on my account. My Discord account was stolen a few months ago. I got it back through Discord support. A few months later, my account was deactivated due to the actions the thief took while using my account. When I tried to contact the Trust and Safety team, a bot named ***** closed my ticket with automated messages. When I tried to contact them through other categories, they told me to contact the Trust and Safety team. But ***** just closed my ticket. I am an administrator for a Discord community with over ******* members. My peers and I are frequent targets of coordinated false reports, and I believe this has happened to me again.|My account was recently reinstated after a previous permanent suspension was overturned (through a prior BBB complaint). However, the same day, my account was placed under a "very limited" status for two years due to another false report. The reason given was for "child safety" despite the message in question does not violate Discords Terms of Service or Community Guidelines. I believe the message was taken out of quotes and out of context.I attempted to resolve this through Discord's official support website. Unfortunately, I have only received automated responses generated by AI, and when I followed up, my tickets were closed without any actual human response.I am a paying customer of **********************, having purchased Nitro as well as a few other cosmetics. My account is very valuable to me both financially and socially. I am requesting a manual, human review of the moderation action taken on my account. I was banned for "child safety" for being baited into sending an innapropiate GIF that is bannable if you send it, I didn't know it was. Discord banned me on the 19th of March, 2025. - 19/3/25 I was in a group chat when this occured. I was with my friends, one of them sent the gif that would get me banned. I don't know how HE didn't get banned and I did.. but I sent it because I thought it was funny and harmless, obviously I thought that you'd not get banned since my friend wasn't, but a few minutes after I sent the **** I was banned.I've sent in many appeals to Discord Support, but they were declined, it's a bit upsetting, since I'm usually met with the same bot message, it's like as if they don't even care.I think that the punishment of my account being banned over a small mistake is harsh. My account of 7 years was permanently suspended for being in a server that was removed for "violent extremism." I had no knowledge of the server's activities. The only readily accessible channel was for verification, where I sent no more than five messages, requesting that I was verified; I didn't see any activity suggesting this server was promoting harmful activities. The manner in which discord mass-bans people is unfair. This was a random server that I was invited to by a friend, so I thought nothing of joining.
