This complaint is being filed because I was suspended by Discord off of their platform for child safety , with as evidence a message i sent that has nothing to do with children or so.I havent done anything wrong and I believe my suspension should be lifted and my account reinstated.This suspension had occurred in around June of 2025 ( i also got a yearly nitro the same month , like a day before i got banned..)I tried making multiple tickets with discord support, but I havent gotten a single reply from a real human back.These were usually automated responses , without someone actually looking at the ticket or taking any actionBusiness Response

I am writing to appeal a ban placed on my account on July 13th, 2025, under the reason of Child Safety, which I strongly believe was a mistake. I have never engaged in conversations involving minors on adult topics, nor have I put anyone at risk.On March 1st in the afternoon, during a discussion in a server where I am an administrator, a user made a deeply offensive accusation, suggesting that the entire server staff were pedophiles. As a survivor of abuse, I found the accusation disgusting and hurtful. Unfortunately, I reacted emotionally and defensively, which led me to make sarcastic and exaggerated comments that included references to pedophilia an obvious mistake on my part. The accuser took advantage of this and took only the compromising parts out of the original context to fraudulently report my ********** ********************** username is newluigifanboy, user ID: ******************, and the email associated with the account is ******************* I have previously done multiple appeals. In the original ticket, I offered an explanation as to why I considered that it was a mistake. As I said, I have not been involved in something as dangerous as Child Safety and the reports have no proof of it. The server and the conversation still exist, so if needed, I could provide the entire conversation to amplify my posture.
I will be leaving the infractions I received. In case the staff believes that I still have broken Discord's Guidelines, I will be only asking just to get a Temporal Suspension or to just leave one infraction on my account, as some of them are repeated.

After reading the Terms of Service a second time, I stand firm in the fact that I have not violated any policies.
It should also be noted that this account is not just for recreational use. I am part of a software development team, and the lack communication has been severely impacting me. Creating alternative accounts is also not possible, as this violates the Terms of Service.
If this is not sufficient, I request an explanation as to why and under what criteria, on August 26, 2025, I was determined to have violated the Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.

Thank you for your response, but unfortunately it does not address the core issue of my complaint.
I am not contacting you about account access or 2FA issues. My complaint is about the wrongful transfer of ownership of my Discord server (with over ******* members) without my consent, and without proper verification by Discord. Someone impersonated me, claimed to be me, and Discord transferred ownership of my server to them. I was never notified or given a chance to prove my identity.
I have provided extensive evidence to prove I am the original owner, including my User ID, screenshots, server ID, and more. Yet I only receive generic responses.
This case deserves an investigation by a real staff member, not a bot. I respectfully ask that you forward this to the appropriate legal or trust & safety team at Discord who can review my specific case.

My discord account was falsely suspended due to a false flag involving a child safety violation. I believe this decision was made in error, possibly due to an automated system misinterpreting a public introduction message. The flagged message did not contain any inappropriate content, and I submitted a Trust and Safety appeal with screenshots proving context and showing my ownership of the account. I am rejecting this response because this does not address the actual issue. The email address I used in the original appeal is no longer accessible to me. HOWEVER, the PHONE NUMBER linked to the suspended account is still under my control, and I can verify ownership through that. The ban was issued in error and flagged under child safety concerns, but the message in question contained no inappropriate content. I have already submitted screenshots and context to show this.
Discord has failed to provide a human review of the evidence, instead relying on automated responses. I am requesting that a human representative manually review my case and verify the linked phone number as proof of ownership. I believe my account was wrongfully terminated, and I have not violated Discords Terms regarding child safety. Please escalate this to the appropriate team for a proper manual investigation. I am rejecting this response once again because it is identical to the previous automated message. Discord has failed to escalate my case to a human despite multiple appeals and clarifications. My original email address is no longer accessible, but the phone number linked to the suspended account is still under my control, and Ive requested identity verification through it. The flagged message that led to my ban did not contain anything inappropriate, and I have submitted screenshots and contextual evidence to show that this was a false flag. I am asking BBB to intervene and require that Discord provides a manual review by a real member of Trust & Safety, and offers alternate verification options based on the account-linked phone number. On July 24 2025, I accidentally clicked to send Nitro as a gift to a friend I was exchanging messages with. My friend hit accept reflexively, then asked if it was on purpose. Both I and the gift recipient were distressed by the accidental purchase, and we both immediately submitted a refund request within about 15 minutes of the "purchase".Discord insists this is not refundable, despite being a twelve month subscription with a refund request issued in minutes upon accidentally clicking to send a gift.Business Response

Hi there,I've been banned unwarrantedly for messages sent that are clearly not violations of the ToS in context. I have attempted repeatedly--by filing 7 or so tickets under different categories but mainly the ban appeals one--to get a human to review the messages. They should easily be able to apply common sense and reverse the ban because it's very obvious that nothing I said was problematic.The Discord username is ******* and the email is *************************** numbers of the tickets that I've filed that directly explain the context of each message, and why they're unproblematic, are:#********, #********, #********, #******** I have more but they just give the numbners of these other tickets and try to ask a human to reopen them. The automated "*****" and "*****" bots mark tickets as solved with the same response verbatim each time, so it's clear there is no human input going on whatsoever. I think even the timeframe for the appeals tickets is identical--it's around 2 hours every time before it's closed, irrespective of the time of day I ******** sole request is to have a human review the supposed violations. If Discord doesn't act quickly then my account can be deleted, which contains plenty of memories and friends who I might struggle to contact again. Literally all that's required is some human common sense.(I filed a previous ticket but it was rejected because the email on the BBB submission was different to that of the Discord account; I've fixed this and am using the same email as my Discord for this one.)Business Response

Discord has had a human (presumably) review my ticket, and my ban was lifted. This was precisely what I filed this for and I am fully satisfied with the outcome (although it's still a travesty that Discord doesn't have humans respond to tickets normally if a filing isn't made through BBB.)

This complaint is being filed because I was falsely suspended by Discord off of their platform.I havent done anything wrong and I believe my suspension should be lifted and my account reinstated.This suspension had occurred in around July of 2025.I tried making multiple tickets with discord support, but I havent gotten a single reply from a real human back.These were usually automated responses, without someone actually looking at the ticket or taking any action.Business Response

- I was banned off discord on Feb 5, 2025 under the false claim of 'Child Safety'.- I tried to contact discord support through the support portal many times in these 4-5 months and they just auto close my ticket without any proper human review.- The bot named '*****" always closes the complain with the same reason my case was reviewed by a actual human support even once.- The message which I got falsely banned was 5-6 years old and wasn't even involved in any type of conversation which hampers 'Child Safety'.- My account got solely banned off discord due to mass reports by some people, and they still refuse to manually review my case.Business Response
