    I have been falsely suspended on the discord platform over a misunderstanding in context. I was falsely suspended for child safety rules, when in reality I was the one that was advocating AGAINST people who are trying to sexually hurt children.This suspension occurred 9/5/2025.

    I am appealing my ban, which was issued under the category of child safety. The stated reason was my use of the word asmr. I want to make it clear that my use of this word was completely harmless and unrelated to anything unsafe.ASMR (Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response) is a widely known term describing calming, relaxing content such as soft sounds and whispering, often used for stress relief or sleep. It is mainstream, with entire communities built around it on *******, Twitch, and many Discord servers themselves. My use of the term was in this normal, benign context. At no point was I referencing anything that could reasonably be considered a child safety issue.I fully understand that Discord takes child safety very seriously, and I strongly support that. However, in this case, I believe there has been a misunderstanding. Banning me under such a serious violation for mentioning a harmless, mainstream word is a clear overreach and an unfair application of the rules.This is especially troubling given that I have invested a lot of time and money into Discord. Ive paid for Nitro and supported the platform because I genuinely enjoy using it to connect with friends and communities. To lose access to my account, my connections, and my investment over something so minor is both unreasonable and unjust.I am requesting a review and reversal of this ban. If Discord chooses not to resolve this matter fairly, I want to note that under your Terms of Service, I have the right to demand arbitration. While I would prefer not to escalate, I am prepared to do so if necessary, as I believe the enforcement action against me was taken without valid cause.I want to be clear: I have no intention of violating Discords rules, and I take safety very seriously.     This complaint is being filed because I was falsely suspended from Discord off of their platform. I havent done anything wrong, and I believe my suspension should be lifted and my account reinstated. This suspension occurred around March of 2025. I tried making multiple tickets with Discord support, but I havent gotten a single reply from a real human back. These were usually automated responses, without someone actually looking at the ticket or taking any action. Discord has also failed to tell me why I have been suspended, even when I asked them to.

    I am rejecting this response because: My account was limited unfairly for over five months, not due to my actions but because of a server I joined. Discord has given no evidence, no explanation, and no human review, only automated replies.

    Thank you for forwarding Discords response regarding my case. Unfortunately, their reply does not address my concerns and is not satisfactory.
    Discord claims my account was reviewed and confirmed as violating their Terms of Service, but they have provided no evidence, no details of the alleged violation, and no opportunity for me to contest it. Their answer only redirected me to my account standing page, which simply repeats the same limitation notice without explanation.
    The limitation on my account was not due to my own actions, but because I joined a server that later broke Discords rules. I did not personally post or engage in any behavior that violated the Terms of Service or Community Guidelines. Punishing my account for the actions of a server I joined without my involvement is unfair and disproportionate.
    As an ** consumer, I am protected under the **************** Act (Regulation (**) 2022/2065), which requires platforms to:
    Provide a clear statement of reasons when restricting accounts (Article 15).
    Allow users to complain and obtain a human review (Article 17).
    Maintain an effective complaint-handling system (Article 20).
    Discord has not complied with these obligations in my case. For over five months, my support tickets have been automatically closed as solved without any explanation or review.
    I respectfully request that BBB presses Discord to provide:
    1) A full written explanation with evidence of any violation attributed to me personally.
    2) A human-led review of my account.
    3) Immediate lifting of the unjust limitation if no direct violation can be proven.
    If Discord continues to refuse, I will pursue this matter through the ************************ (ECC) and escalate under the **************** Act in the ***

    I am rejecting this response because: Discords reply is still a generic template that provides no details, no evidence, and no opportunity for a fair review. Simply telling me to check the account standing page does not explain why my account was limited or what actions I personally took.
    In fact, when I contacted Discords Disputes team directly, they admitted that the enforcement against my account was based solely on my membership in a server that violated the rules, not on anything I personally did. I did not post or engage in any prohibited behavior. Punishing me simply for being in a server is unfair, disproportionate, and not compliant with consumer protection standards.
    As an ** consumer, I am entitled under the **************** Act (Regulation (**) 2022/2065) to:
    Receive a clear statement of reasons for restrictions (Article 15).
    Obtain a human review of enforcement actions (Article 17).
    Be treated fairly and not subjected to disproportionate penalties.

    Hi Discord ************** Team,Im creating this complaint again because my previous BBB complaint received automatic answers, referred the wrong ticket ID and didnt help me at all.I was unbanned 2 weeks ago and thought the abuse of the report system was finally dealt with but that wasnt the case as I got another violation one week ago.That one violation didnt ban me. It put me on the ************** status and it seems like Im still not really protected from my old friends who are continuously reporting me for old messages in their private server.I sent 2 DSA Reports (Server and Owner) but they got automatically responded within 7 days. There wasnt any action taken so I assume no one had time to look for my reports.For my tickets, Ive been waiting for 7 days for an answer. They get marked as solved and Assigned to **************, but no one is ********** review was auto responded within 7 days too. Basically I had no human being actually looking upon my case and help ***** I am requesting for someone to understand my situation, remove my violation and take actions towards the user who is spam reporting me.     I am rejecting this response because:

    Hi, Im confused why this sudden violation got confirmed. The other 3 were reviewed as mistake and got removed.

    The current violation comes from the same server and from the same user who has been targeting me.

    Usagis answer was written in german too even though I only typed in english. Usagi even unbanned my account 2 weeks ago but now she confirmed the current violation which leaves me utterly confused.

    Are you sure there is no mistake in this? In additional, I will attach pictures from the server where my reported messages come from.

    You can see at the pictures that this is a private friend group where jokes were all around the corner. This was the entire servers context and now because I have a quarrel with the owner, I assume hes reporting old messages to get me banned just because we arent friends anymore.

    Please re-think your choice as I feel unfairly treated. 3 Violations got removed from the same server and from the same reason, but this current one isnt getting removed? Theres just some inconsistency here.

    I also hope that you wont copy paste the exact message, I want an human to read this not a bot.

    The discord account was deleted for the reason of child safety Dear BBB! My account was blocked due to uploading a blurred image., which, apparently, was automatically considered by the system as violating the rules of the platform. This image is a photo of a puppy, cheesecakes and a girl. Probably, the system mistakenly identified the girl as a minor, which was the reason for the blocking.I hasten to assure you that this interpretation is erroneous. The image is freely available on the Internet, it can be easy to find in search engines ****** and ****** for ?????? ? ????????. Photography is also widely distributed on social networks such as VKontakte, Steam, Standart67 and other online platforms. This fact indicates her meme status in the online community.I emphasize that everything is fine with the girl depicted in the photo. She has not been subjected to any actions contrary to the laws or rules of the Discord community. Otherwise, this image could not be freely distributed in open sources.I'm sorry if this image, even if by mistake, caused a negative reaction from the moderation system. I did not assume that a meme image from an open source, although controversial, could be regarded as a violation of the rules of the platform. During the six years I have been using Discord, I have strictly followed the rules of the community and have never intentionally violated them. I believe that blocking an account accumulated over such a long period of time for a single and, in fact, accidental violation is an excessively harsh punishment.I ask you to understand my situation and reconsider the decision to block it. The loss of my six-year account history was an extremely painful event for me. I hope for your mercy and restoration of access to my account.     I am rejecting this response because:

    I am not satisfied with the rejection of my appeal regarding the suspension of my Discord account for alleged violent extremism.

     

    I want to make it absolutely clear that I have never engaged in, promoted, or supported violent extremist activity on Discord or elsewhere. The only reason my account appears to have been flagged is because I was a member of a server that was later removed for policy violations. My participation in that server was minimal I had barely spoken in it at all and at no point did I contribute to, endorse, or engage in extremist content or behavior.

     

    Suspending my account under these circumstances is unfair and disproportionate. Being in a server should not, by itself, constitute grounds for such a serious allegation. I joined communities in good faith, and I should not be punished for the actions of others.

     

    I respectfully ask for a reconsideration of my case, specifically a review of my individual activity and behavior rather than guilt by association. I believe a proper review will confirm that I have not violated Discords Community Guidelines or Terms of Service.

    I got banned from Discord because I sent a meme picture to a friend which in that picture, there was a genital. I am deeply sorry for my actions and I promise to never do it again if I can have my account unbanned.
