This complaint is being filed because I was falsely suspended by discord off their platform. I havent done anything wrong and I believe my suspension should be lifted and my account reinstated. This suspension occurred on June 24th, 2025. I tried multiple tickets with discord support , but I havent gotten a single reply from a real human back. On June 21st, I received 2 punishments for the same action, one limiting my permissions to send images/videos and one permanently banning me off the platform. Thanks for writing in. It looks like you're missing some of the information that we requested to verify that you're old enough to use Discord.
Please include all of the requested materials in a single photo, and make sure that all of the requested materials are clearly visible.
As a reminder, this photo should include:
- Your face (meaning, please send us a selfie)
- You holding a photo ID that contains your date of birth
- You holding a piece of paper with your username
We can accept passport photo IDs, state issued IDs, and other government issued IDs as part of our evaluation process.
If you do not have a photo ID that shows your date of birth, you can submit a verification photo that includes your school photo ID with your name visible, alongside a birth certificate with your name AND date of birth visible, along with the other requirements listed above.
You can cover up any sensitive parts of your photo ID, but we need to see your face and your date of birth clearly in the photo. Please note we cannot accept screenshots, printouts, or other copies of identification and that the original ID must be presented.

I believe myself to be the victim of a mass report or a false positive, and would like to at least know what I did to cause my ban. Hi, on June 16th 2025 a certain user by the name of ***** has decided yet again to harass me and slander my name publicly with malicious intent. My account was suspended shortly after I went ahead and reported a large number of ToS violations he's committed.I was going to report his hate speech from him that targetted minorities and genders. However by then Discord had removed my ability to report messages which is unacceptable considering it was blatant racism, homophobic and transphobic.After I was suspended I received an email notifying me that discord had taken action and removed his content and then I received two more ************* tickets were automatically closed after 7 days without any response.Furthermore, the violations I was given were taken out of context considering I was simply quoting some of the malicious and slanderous messages he had been sharing about me.That user also replied to some of the messages I was referring to with screenshots of himself saying ***** intentions were to bring awareness to moderators about his malicious conduct he was openly bragging about.This user had been continuously harassing me and mocking my wife for having cancer and eventually taking her own life. He's conducted raids and manipulated vulnerable people into committing animal abuse with the same intensions.The word "roleplay" was meant to imply concerns about his pathological lies and impersonation.When I said he could not be "childish" anymore it meant that he should quit lying and making defamatory statements which he then responded asking me not to SA him out of nowhere and completely unwarranted.The messages I was given violations for actually depicted the user I reported committing child safety endangerment.Please unban my account Yanphuc and remove the violations.I would appreciate it if someone could direct me to where I can send reports that includes context rather than relying on AI evaluating per word.Thank you,-YanphucBusiness Response

Hi, while I understand that the way I dealt with the abuse and harassement I was facing at the time (3 years ago) may have broken current ToS/community guidelines please be assured that this was never intended to happen.I was unaware of how the reporting system worked at the time and believe only moderators could take actions against individuals maliciously harm, abuse and impersonation.
In no way were there any intentions to break ToS or community guidelines. Seeking help from community and moderators were the only ways available to me at the time.
I both received a permanent suspension and an rmail stating that actuons were taken against the user I reported.
However up until now, no one from support has reviewed any of the tickets or appeals I have made.
I respectfully understand that your support team is very busy and thus I have not made several duplicate tickets or appeals. I waited until my ticket was automatically closed and have since only received answers copy pasted answers from bots.
This has hurt my small businesses and scientific research very severely along my ability to make a living.
I ask that my case be reviewed and met with honesty and fairness. I have since 3 years ago came a long way and took the time to educate myself on all the changes made to ToS and community guidelines.
I was hit with 1 violation followed by an email stating that actions were taken against the other party. Then received 2 more violations the following hour after already being falsely suspended permanently with no warning for seeking help.
I understand you are a very busy but I, the communities and institutions I serve and work for would be very grateful if this could be addressed in a timely manner. My customers and clients are left in the dark in the meantime as this get's sorted out
Thank you for considering lifting the violations or reducing them as these messages from almost 3 years ago were taken strictly out of context and worded in a way so that it would sound less offensive as the situation was being reported to moderators.
2 out of the 3 violations were simply reporting rule breaks by means of quoting the messages that individual had sent which he openly bragged about and which support should have access to. I understand a lot has changed since all these years and would appreciate if you could take that into account.

I am submitting this complaint because I was wrongfully suspended from the Discord platform. I have not violated any rules or policies, and I firmly believe my suspension was made in error. These actions took place on June 16th 2025 during the span of the hour that followed 7PM.
Since then, I have submitted multiple support tickets to Discord, but I have yet to receive a response from an actual support representative. The replies Ive received appear to be automated and do not address my specific concerns, nor has any meaningful action been taken regarding my case. I am requesting a fair review of my account as promised and for the suspension to be lifted.The Discord has admitted through email that actions were taken against the user I reported 8 minutes after I was given a permanent suspension for quoting what the user at fault was doing and said.
The messages in question were forwarded to the server's moderation team for impersonation, harassment, slanderous defamatory lies as well as animal abuse and hate speech.
This user had been making false and accusatory statements depicting ******************. Not only that but there has been instances where this individual has raided servers and pressured children into abusing and killing their pets and forcing them to post proofs that it was done.
It is ridiculous to know that Discord has records of all these events which most of it is still publicly accessible yet they refuse to send me my account DATA. **********************'s AI has NOT corrected the erroneous sanctions it has given despite having found the other party to have been originally at fault.
Serious allegations were made by this AI and I was never told what community guidelines or ToS I violated. The previously mentioned user has violated rule #7 and #8 of the community guidelines which are serious violations.
I do not wish to believe that Discord's auto-moderation AI is allowing hate speech, CSAM and child endangerment to happen while it bans and suspends users reporting.
My request for review has been automatically closed after 8 days and the same copy pasted replies were sent to me regardless of what nature or concerns the tickets I made were about.

Im respectfully appealing a recent ban on my account for a supposed child safety violation. I understand how serious these issues are and fully support Discords efforts to keep the community safe. I am asking for a manual review by a human moderator, because I believe this was a misunderstanding.I am 15 years old and want to state clearly: I have never shared, requested, or sent anything illegal, explicit, or harmful involving minors, nor have I messaged anyone inappropriately. I understand how seriously Discord takes these matters, and I take them seriously as well.I believe my account may have been flagged due to my use of the term CP which I used not knowing the serious meaning it can have. At the time, I thought it stood for cheese pizza in a meme context. In fact, I had even posted a literal picture of pizza in a different group chat, not the one I was banned in, to reflect that meaning.I now fully understand the gravity of that abbreviation and how its often associated with something illegal and disturbing. Im deeply sorry for ever using it, even in ignorance. It wont happen again.I also want to acknowledge that Ive sometimes made weird or edgy jokes with friends but they were never sexual, explicit, or targeting minors. They were private jokes with people I knew, but I now realize how even those messages can be misinterpreted, especially by automated systems.Discord means a lot to me. I use it to stay in touch with friends and, most importantly, to share music and collaborate with others. Its helped me grow as a person and as a musician. Losing access has been incredibly difficult.I know Discord needs to act fast to protect users, and I support that. Hi Discord Team,I recently found out that my account was permanently banned due to being part of a server called UTime, which was flagged for child safety concerns. I completely understand and respect your policies around protecting users, especially when it comes to safety its obviously something that needs to be taken seriously.That said, I had no idea the server was involved in anything against the rules. My Discord account, **** Qingyue (linked to ************************** was unjustly disabled by Discord without any specific evidence of a violation of their Terms of Service or Community Guidelines.Upon discovering the ban, I immediately contacted Discord Support. I have sent multiple detailed emails (over several days) consistently asserting my innocence and demanding concrete proof of the alleged violation. My emails explicitly requested:* The exact rule violated.* The precise date and time of the violation.* The specific content, action, or interaction constituting the violation.* Any relevant supporting data (screenshots, chat logs, etc.).I clearly outlined my consistent adherence to Discord's rules, including my strict compliance with NSFW content guidelines (only shared in explicitly marked NSFW channels).Despite my persistent and detailed requests, Discord Support has repeatedly responded with the exact same automated message from "*****": "Your account was disabled for violating our Terms of Service or Community Guidelines. I have reviewed Discord's response to my complaint regarding my **** Qingyue account.
Once again, this response is insufficient and completely fails to address the core issue. Discord continues to repeat generic reasons about "violating Terms of Service or Community Guidelines" without providing any specific evidence whatsoever to substantiate their claims.
As I have clearly stated in my initial complaint and in all previous communications, I demand that Discord provide EXACTLY the following information:
The specific rule that I allegedly violated.
The precise date and time of the alleged violation.
The specific content, action, or interaction that constituted this violation.
Discord's persistent refusal to provide this evidence, even after a complaint has been filed through the BBB, is clear proof that they have no valid evidence to justify this baseless ban. This behavior demonstrates a severe lack of transparency and accountability.
I reiterate that I am completely innocent, and my account has been unjustly disabled.
My demands remain unchanged:
Discord must provide specific, undeniable evidence of the alleged violation as requested above.
If they cannot provide evidence, Discord must immediately and unconditionally lift the ban on my **** Qingyue account.
