    Dear Better Business Bureau,I am writing to file a formal complaint regarding the unjust suspension of my Discord account, which has been active for over 4 years without any previous issues. Recently, my account was suspended due to a violation of "child safety" policies. However, I am confused and frustrated, as I have not engaged in any inappropriate or suspicious behavior. I have not sent any offensive messages, shared harmful content, or participated in any activity that could be deemed a violation of Discord's community guidelines.The suspension notice from Discord did not provide a clear explanation of the specific reason for the action taken against my account. There was no reference to any specific messages, actions, or content that I may have shared that could have led to this decision. Furthermore, I have made multiple attempts to reach out to Discords support team for clarification, but I have yet to receive a satisfactory response.I have been a loyal user of ********************** for four years and have always adhered to the platform's rules and regulations. This suspension is completely unjust, and I am seeking your assistance in resolving this issue.     I am rejecting this response because it does not explain the specific reason for my account suspension. 


    Discord informed me that my account was disabled for a "Child Safety" violation, but they have not provided any details about what exact message, image, or activity was considered a violation. Without this information, I cannot understand what I supposedly did wrong. 


    Simply stating "Child Safety" without identifying the specific content in question is not a sufficient or transparent explanation.

    I would also like to emphasize that during my entire time using Discord, I have never engaged in harmful behavior, not have I ever intended to. I hope for your understanding and a fair reconsideration of this matter.

    I am rejecting this response because I have not received any reply regarding my complaint. The BBB message mentioned that I should have received a response, but the last communication I received from Discord was on September 9th, and since then nothing further has come.  


    This makes the BBB response look more like an automated message rather than an actual reply to my case. As of today, September 10th, I am still waiting for a proper response, so I cannot accept the current status.

    On September 4th, 2025, my Discord account was banned. I firmly believe this action was taken in error, as I have not violated Discords Terms of Service or Community Guidelines, including rules related to child safety.I have consistently adhered to all Discord rules and community standards. The ban has caused me undue inconvenience, and I am seeking a thorough review of my account and reinstatement.I respectfully request clarification regarding the reason for this ban and a prompt resolution to restore access to my account.

    I was banned from discord for child safety but they do not give me the reasons, I have asked for several tests when making an appeal but they do not solve my problem, I only have groups with my friends and when joking I only do it with them also I had an active subscription and I am afraid that it will continue charging to my card.

    I filed a ticket on Discord's support forums outlining how one of their "servers" was being used to exploit minors. Within under 5 minutes, a bot responded to the ticket outlining how to report things in-app. The ticket was then immediately closed without a human ever seeing it. I have reported over 500 messages in-app, and the actions needed suspension to stop the child safety issue did not occur. I then filed a ticket, which was immediately closed. I have entirely exhausted ways to prevent minors from being harmed. The ticket I filed outlines in detail how a server targeted towards children has an owner who uses the direct messaging feature of Discord to prey on minors as well as how he continues to evade bans using multiple accounts on **********************. A human never even read it. This predator is still active on Discord as I type this complaint, free to prey on children who are trying to play an online game. (Discord Ticket ID: *********

    I am rejecting this response because Discord gave me the same template response I was sent in a ticket. As I explained in my initial request to the Bureau, I have reported things in-app hundreds of times to no avail. If someone read the ticket, they would see that reporting in-app is inherently flawed and has done nearly nothing to stop the issues at hand.

    Hello, Im here to write about getting a human response.Originally, My main account inside this business was terminated for breaking their terms of service, The reason was child safety and it was completely false, I got this account reinstated.Because of my main account being falsely terminated, It led to my other account (username: absoltion) being terminated too for ban evasion and i still havent gotten it back.I have some important messages inside that account and would love to reinstate it, So i contacted discord support only to be presented with Automated replies over and over.The automated replies were so bad, That i made sure to include exactly what it was telling me, only to receive them nonetheless. (Check image)These automated replies automatically close my ticket to discord support too, so if i keep making them, They keep getting closed and no assistant will be able to help ***** here to just request an assistant from discord again, Since discord support is taking me nowhere, again.(Message to discord assistant, This account is originally banned for ban evasion but it was banned because my main account got falsely terminated, I got my main account reinstated and i want this account reinstated too.)

    I am filing this complaint regarding the permanent suspension of my Discord account (toastedavacado), which I have had for several years without any prior violations.Recently, my account was permanently banned for ban evasion. This is incorrect. I have never been banned before, nor have I ever attempted to evade a ban. The only unusual action I took was logging into my account through the Mullvad VPN, which I use for privacy reasons. Discords automated system appears to have misinterpreted this login as ban evasion and wrongfully terminated my account.This account is important to me both socially and financially. I have purchased Discord Nitro and/or server boosts on this account using Apple Pay, and I am able to provide proof of payment through my ***** purchase history. While I no longer have access to the Gmail address tied to the account, I am a paying customer and have valid billing records to prove ownership.I have submitted appeals through Discords official support channels, but I have not received any resolution. I am requesting that Discord review this suspension with human oversight, verify my ownership using my billing records, and reinstate my ********** a long-time user and paying customer, I find it unacceptable that my account was permanently suspended due to an automated false positive, without proper review or consideration of my history, payments, and proof of legitimate ownership.I no longer have access to the Gmail tied to the account, so please use this email for contact and verification:************************************* Desired resolution: Reinstate my account (toastedavacado) after verifying ownership via billing proof, or at the very least provide a proper explanation and fair review rather than an automated dismissal.

    On January 19th 2025, discord suspended my account on their platform for child safety with no evidence given. Ive been trying to get in contact with their support agents but the only replies I got are automated replies or no replies at all.     They have banned my discord account have got 3 Violations that resulted in my permanent account suspension all of because i joined some servers way back in which i never participated in anything, i even forgot i joined those servers never even sent a single message but still got banned because of them, I didn't broke any other discord Guidelines But they still only give bit response no human response.
