    Im reaching out to appeal the recent suspension of my account, which was marked for malicious conduct linked to the server named "chek".I respectfully believe this is a mistake. The server in question was created for personal testing purposes only, and all the data involved was fake and mine alone. I was running a cybersecurity test on myself using my private RDP server (**************). There was no intent to harm, no involvement of other users, and no violation of Discords Community Guidelines from my side.Unfortunately, my account was suspended without any prior warning, and this has caused me great distress. I manage a large community server with over ****** members, and losing access would mean losing everything Ive built with care and responsibility over time.Please understand that I take Discords policies seriously and would never intentionally break the rules. I kindly ask you to review my case, as I strongly believe the suspension was due to a misunderstanding.I am ready to fully cooperate and ensure complete compliance with all Discord guidelines moving forward.Thank you for your time and consideration.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    The company has been failing to address or always vaguely addresses the specific incident or statement of which the said violation was being based on and thus making me believe i was falsely suspended off of their platform.

    I appreciate their concerns over child safety and I do understand that they'd rather keep falsely banning someone that isn't a bad actor than keep potential bad actors unbanned. But i shall request that Discord take into account the context of said message of which the suspension was based on according to their platform's "Account Standing" page and not take the user reports that were falsely put on my account.

    With this, I shall request that my account be removed of the suspension or at least be let off with a warning and some platform limitations as i have seen other users be let off with warnings or limitiations over their message that is worse or almost the same severity as the message the suspension is based on.

    Hello,

     

    Thank you for your previous response. However, I am extremely disappointed that Discord has again refused to properly review my case or provide any explanation beyond a generic denial.

     

    My account (username: ****** was permanently disabled for a child safety violation, but I have yet to receive:

    - A clear explanation of what rule I violated,

    - Any context surrounding the flagged message,

    - Or confirmation that a real human actually reviewed the case.

     

    The only message I saw referenced was: message requests are waiting which was sent in a harmless conversation between adult friends, unrelated to any inappropriate content or behavior. I believe the enforcement may have been the result of an automated system or misreporting.

     

    I fully support Discords efforts to protect user safety, but a suspension of this seriousness deserves a proper explanation. As a user, I deserve to know what specific content led to my accounts termination, especially when my appeals are being dismissed with automated replies.

     

    At the very least, I am requesting:

    - Confirmation that a *human reviewed* my case, and

    - A clear explanation of what *specific content or behavior* led to the enforcement action.

     

    If this request is denied due to Discord's internal policy or classification, then I would like that stated explicitly in the response so I can better understand the limits of transparency on this platform.

     

    I remain open to resolving this matter respectfully, but I expect more than vague, dismissive boilerplate. Thank you for your time.

    Discord has falsely banned my account @opposingfork and accused me of violating the Child Safety terms of service. I sent an appeal to them and provided proof that i did not violate the terms of service, but they used a bot to reply to me. I told discord to check my appeal and they denied their AI's faults.

    I received a violation on my Discord account April 23rd, 2024 for ''violent and graphic content''. This was due to a Discord server I was in that was linked to *************** game. I was never active in the server apart from joining the game as this was a new creator that I had found on a separate platform the year prior and I wanted to support them. My violation was set to expire in April 2026 but as of a few days ago now, my account was in either good or limited standing. I was logged out of my account June 25th and told that my account was disabled. I logged in to see that I was suspended for yet another Discord server which was also linked to a Roblox game with the same creator, that I played no part in. My violation was for ''violent extremism'', this server had already been inactive for months on end which is the main reason I am so confused about this violation - but Discord cannot even bother to give me a human to speak to. In this server I had received death and **** threats so there was no reason for me to talk in here. I never reported anything as Discords moderation is not the best and they normally ignore complaints and send bot responses. I sent a long email to Discord, followed by another and got nothing but a bot response even after requesting for a human to review this. I created another ticket for my data that I'm assuming Discord will not get to or they will, and claim they don't have my data as I've seen this happen, yet this is false. I've had this account since 2020, spent over $70 on this platform over multiple accounts and this was just my 2nd violation. I have various personal things on this account as I truly never thought this would happen. Or, with my bestfriend on there - we had ******* thousand messages combined and that's honestly the main reason this deeply hurts me emotionally, not great for someone like me who has struggled in the past with mental issues. All I genuinely want here is either my data or my account back. Thank you.

    Discord *** has been very VERY unhelpful in many cases of falsely banned/suspended accounts used on their platforms. I am a victim of this. I was falsely suspended permanently on my account due to many reports of "child safety" on my account, which were false reports by someone threatening me. I am the victim, and yet I get banned. This is a very bad look for such a large and widely used platform. I'm not the only one either. There are at least hundreds of other people who have met the same consequence I have, and have had no success in appealing. The worst part is the appealing system. It is practically impossible for one to reach out to Discord for ANY reason. This is because they don't have a true support/contact site for them. They only have a "ticket" system where you write your complain and should get written back. What's wrong with this system though, is that you only get an email from one of their bots (named "*****) saying absolutely nothing helpful. They don't even try to reach out. Because of these reasons, I believe discord should improve the ticket system and unban falsely reported accounts, especially if the suspended ones are younger as they are more likely to be scammed, hacked, or fall into a threatening situation.

    I know you may think I did something wrong. Whatever happened, I swear I did not mean anything malicious in any way. If you'd listen, you'd know that I am liable to make mistakes. An instant ban without warning is unwarranted and cruel. I've had people say the exact same thing as I have. I do not think I am responsible, but if you really think I am, I'd like to sincerely ask for one more chance on my part. There is so much meaningful items to my accounts I've made, friends I've made and friendships I've strengthened. I can't handle it if one simple mistake had completely shattered all of that, especially since many people I don't have any other way to contact other than this discord account. I'm not looking for pity, I'm not looking for justice, I'm simply only looking for one more chance that I promise I will never intentionally break the *** of your site again. If you'd let me, I would be immensely grateful and retract all previous statements and regards I have made about the app so far. Thank you for reading. I hope you will see it my way, as a simple mistake.

    I am rejecting this response because: I want to clarify that the incident was the result of a misunderstanding, and I take full responsibility for my mistake, even though it was completely unintentional.
    before I got suspended i had been searching for exclusive cosplay images of a well-known adult cosplayer and found a post in a ************** where someone offered a RAR file through Discord. I contacted them and received the file. Unfortunately, I made the critical error of uploading the contents to a private chat on my alternative account to organize and pin them without first verifying what the images contained. My Windows settings were configured to hide thumbnails, and all the files were named with the prefix "SPOILER_", which prevented me from realizing what I was uploading.
    To my horror, after uploading, I clicked one of the files and immediately discovered that it contained illegal content. I deleted the image right away. I was extremely shocked, disturbed, and regretful. I never intended to share such material and would never knowingly support or distribute harmful content. This was a deeply unfortunate lapse in judgment, and I completely understand the seriousness of the violation. I have learned a harsh but important ****** from this incident. If given a second chance, I will be far more cautious, and I will never again download or share files without properly reviewing their contents.
    I am also hoping for access to my account again because it contains important academic information shared with friends.
