Hello Discord Team,
I would like to explain in more detail the situation regarding the deactivation of my account, as I truly believe there was a misunderstanding, and I am very concerned about it.
Ive had my account for approximately 8 years, and Ive always used the platform respectfully. During all that time, I never received any kind of warning or punishment. This was the first time I made a mistake, and as soon as I realized it, I took all the necessary steps to correct it.
Here is what happened:
I received a warning for sending an image that, according to the guidelines, was considered inappropriate. I acknowledge the mistake and, as soon as I received the warning, I immediately deleted the image. I was also informed that my account would be restricted from sending images for one day. I fully accepted that punishment, as I understood that I had made a mistake and took responsibility.
However, about two hours later, I received a second email saying that I had committed another violation which is not true. After the first warning, I did not send anything else: no new images, no inappropriate messages, no interactions that violated any rules. I fully respected the punishment and did not use the platform inappropriately after the initial infraction.
Shortly after that second email, my account was deactivated. To this day, I dont understand what action triggered that. I sincerely reaffirm that I did not commit any second offense, and this was the only issue Ive had in all my years using Discord.
I would also like to raise a concern that has been bothering me: was this punishment really fair? I ask this because my friend, who was actually the first ****** to send that exact same image, also received a warning and had his account restricted from sending images for one day just like I did. The difference is that only I was banned a few hours later, as if I had repeated the violation, which I didnt.
All I did was copy and paste the image he had posted. And the moment I received the first warning, I immediately deleted everything and stopped interacting altogether. So, honestly, why was I the only one banned and not him? What exactly was considered right or wrong in this process? I would really appreciate a clear explanation.
I understand the importance of the guidelines, especially regarding child safety, and I would never share any content that puts that at risk. The image that triggered the initial warning did not involve minors or anything that could be interpreted as such. Still, once I was notified, I deleted it right away and stopped interacting to avoid further issues.
Im truly sorry for this situation and would like to kindly ask that my case be re-evaluated. I am willing to fully cooperate with the process and I promise to be even more careful with the Community Guidelines from now on.

Hello.I am writing this complaint to formally appeal the permanent suspension of my Discord account, which took place on the 21st of June, 2025, at approximately 03:20AM CET. The account is linked to my email address: **************************** and my phone number: "*************". I believe that this action was taken in error, as I am not aware of any violations of Discord's TOS or Community Guidelines that I may have committed.Upon receiving the suspension which I believe is false, I immediately requested an appeal and made a ticket explaining the situation. Unfortunately, the only response that I had received was an automated bot response that didn't help me at all. I got no information on why I was suspended. They have responded with the same exact what I believe is an "automatic" bot response and yet again, I have no proof of what I did. They aren't telling me why it was an instant permanent suspension. Good morning!This complaint is being filed because I was falsely suspended PERMANENTLY, by Discord off of their platform for a reason that I think was unjust.I havent done anything wrong and I believe my suspension should be lifted and my account reinstated.This suspension had occurred on Mon, Jul 8, 2024, 4:34AM When my account was "limited" (restricting me from messaging for an entire week). Once the limitation was lifted, I was then permanently banned as if I did something else, which was not possible because I was blocked from messaging the entire week. I was already punished once. After that punishment that then limited my account, I had barely any time to use it. Until about 6 days later, I open discord to see that my account has been permanently suspended based on the same offense that I did not even commit. Discord withheld information about what exactly I did other than the vague words of " you broke the rules for child safety" with no further explanation or proof of anything I've done wrong.I tried making multiple tickets with discord support, but I havent gotten a single reply from a real human back. These were usually automated responses, without someone actually looking at the ticket or taking any action. No explanation of anything, or what content was removed. I didn't do anything to anyone. This is outrageous. I'm being falsely accused of harming children, when I've done no such thing.The aftermath has broken so many of my friendships and has caused me so much grief for the loss of my account, and many communities that my account had ownership over which is now locked away because my account still exists, but is inaccessible. Therefore causing the communities to die out and having access to what I built restricted. I used my account for my friend's and family and now I cannot respond to, nor message them. I am rejecting this response because: This is not a satisfactory response. Discord confirmed something that I didn't do, nor did they even reveal any offense I've made ever other than "we've determined that the user violated our terms of service", without any further explanation as to what I've done other than "child endangerment" Which I know has been either one of two situations.
Number one: taking anything I said completely out of context with no future investigation and then putting in no further effort to confirm anything, nor show me the offense that I've made, because there was no offense to punish me into "breaking their TOS" which I never did.
Number two: My account being mass reported, which again does not justify anything for the restriction of my account, nor does it prove I've done anything wrong.
This seems like yet another low effort response from Discord in attempts to silence me and take away what was rightfully mine (being my account) that did not intentionally do anything to harm anyone. If Discord thinks I did, there was no ill intent implied. Therefore no TOS was broken. I feel this is an attack on me and not valid, falsely accusing me of something I DID NOT DO. Nobody was harmed EVER by my account, especially for what was labeled me as doing "child safety". If children were harmed, then you can get the authorities involved and we'll see which children were harmed. I'll tell you that 100% certainly, that ZERO were harmed. Otherwise it would've became a legal case. Discord is labeling me as an endangerment to children, when in fact, I want children protected and think that they should NOT be on this platform or have the ability to interact with adults. If children were harmed, and I broke the **** then show me the exact message and offense that you deemed my account to be permanently suspended.

I'm appealing the permanent suspension of my account. I believe the decision was made in error, and I'm confident I didn't violate any guidelines. As a loyal customer with no prior violations, I've purchased your service Nitro multiple times and have been a good faith user.
The suspension has caused significant damage to my personal and professional life, including loss of business opportunities, damage to my reputation, and disruption of relationships. I've tried to clarify the situation, but received automated, and low effort responses that failed to address my concerns. After countlessly being rejected by vague copy paste responses and labels of no proof of any offenses I've made.

I've just gotten on and my Discord account of 9 years has been suspended until 2027 for allegedly breaking the Child safety policies.I was not given a message or a reason with the automated email I received from Discord, giving me no context as to why this was even ********** has also come to my attention that many people get falsely banned for this exact policy violation when they are presented with a message with no underlying motives, further pushing me to believe this is a false suspension based off a false mass-report.I do not engage in activities that are suggestive or explicit with anyone on discord, as it's not a platform for that in my eyes. I use it strictly for communication and keeping up with friends and their activity.This suspension has hit me quite hard as I've lost hundreds of contacts that I no longer have external methods of communication with. I've also lost every server I've joined that may or may not have active invite links anymore.All I ask is that this be brought to attention, and if nothing else, the suspension be reduced to a limited account status so that I can still communicate with those whom I need to.And as I've been using Discord for years, I've kept up with new policies, kept myself in good standing and all of a sudden I've been suspended for 2 whole years with no viable reason/explanation from your team. My Discord account was permanently banned on march, and the reason given was a violation of child safety policies. This is a mistake and a clear misunderstanding.I used the abbreviation CP while talking about Creator Points in a Geometry Dash server. CP is a widely known and frequently used term in the ************************ even by the games creator, RobTop, and has no inappropriate meaning in this context.After I was banned, I submitted an appeal using Discords official form.
