  We specifically did a background to assess financial information. It said it provides this information, yet the results say no financial information. The quotes on the value of the homes was profoundly inaccurate. Most of the info is completely useless. You won't get anything useful here. What a waste of time and money. We cancelled online, hopefully they don't keep charging us.

  They say you may opt out from having your information on their website (***********************************************), but when you click on the link to have your information removed, it just brings you back to their home page, so they're lying and breaking the law by saying you can have your information removed on their website, but it's not true. Their website needs to be shut down for violating the law.What's worse is when you search a number they use this high pressure sales tactic to try get you to buy their product by saying the owner can remove their records at any time and you may never learn the details. So they're trying to scare you into buying their c*** by saying the person can have their number removed, but then they don't even allow you to remove your information from their website. It's truly disgusting and despicable behavior and they should be punished by the law accordingly.

  Peak scumminess in that website design. Forced 2 minute timer that pretend to be "loading" something just to make you wait to hit the paywall so you don't want to wait again and will just pay them!

  I clicked on a link to look up information on a phone number that had called me but didn't leave a message. The link said it would be FREE but turned out to be a sales link. I decided I didn't want to pay for the information so I clicked off the site. Since then I receive about 15 to 20 emails a day saying that my information is ready. Pretty much harassment since I don't want to pay. There is no way to turn it off so I continue to get these unsolicited emails. Bad business Intelius!!!!

  On December 21st I was checking my email and saw a message from ****** stating my personal information was being used by Intelius. I have NEVER heard of this website before so when ****** offered to submit a request to have my information removed so it wouldn't be searched, I clicked without hesitation. Before the evening ****** approved my request to have my personal information removed from being searched but they also stated if I wanted to have my information COMPLETELY removed from Intelius, I would have to go on the site and go through the process. When I started the "Suppress" process on Intelius I noticed they had my full name, my home address, every email I've ever used since my teenage years (a lot of those emails are no longer active), my age and phone numbers (again, some of those numbers aren't active either.) I don't know how these people got my personal information but I do NOT like the idea of unknown sources/websites having access to that WITHOUT my knowledge or permission. It's an invasion of privacy and has the potential of violating someone's safety. I'll definitely be speaking to my attorney about this.

  I think this company should research a person before putting anything about someone in the wrong hands. Not even close to correct information. Type in your own phone number and see how random information gets attached to your name. They are only getting 1 star because I couldn't leave 0.

  Intellius is a waste of time and money . You pay the monthly fee and then they want to charge you for every piece of information such as email or phone information. A waste of $25 as all of the information is old and incomplete. I have no idea how they have an A+ rating, they're a scam.
