I would give 0 stars,I used intelius to look up a report , I authorized a membership charge, tried to look at the report and was charged another 0.95, didn't even get the right report. I cancel my membership 10 minutes later thinking that would get my refund, no money came back into my account. Called a couple of weeks later demanding a refund. I received the 0.95 cent back but was told that I was outside of the time window to get the 3.95 membership back. DO NOT USE INTERLIUS.Intelius.com

So, don't use this company. Seriously. I'm one of the many people here who regret not checking here first, but probably the worst offense.ive seen from them, is every single review reply is copy pasted.Example, someone posted that they don't have an account but keep letting charged every few days, and intelius replied stating just that, there is no account with their information on file.That, is not a resolution. That's all but an admission of fraud since they continue to charge them.But on myself, I've not had their service. I signed up for the 1 week trial, to be surprised with a charge for $38.39 within the same week. I've sent in support ticket and emails requesting a refund, and seeing that I'm not willing to do business with this company in the future, should they refuse a refund Ill issue a charge ack using proof of account cancellation, proof of the account being made and charged the trial amount, and the proof of them attempting to charge full membership earlier than the agreed upon time. Which, for clarification, is not an authorized charge.Intelius.com

I used my cc on intelligence for a free trial and canceled within my free trial but charged. I called them when I found out that my bank said I was charged, called intelligence, but they will not refund my money. *** on the phone at intelligence first she said she could give me refund then changed her story. Poor customer service and misrepresentation. This company should be investigated for false promises and fraudulent activity towards unsuspecting public.Intelius.com

I'm sick of being lead down a rabbit hole of hoops to get free public information that is never free. " We need to verify your age" or name or whatever is a scam. Used a debit card I rarely use last time to verify and within 10 minutes received a call from the company that someplace 1500 miles away was trying to charge that card, got a new card on that same account and within 15 minutes of activation had to close it, Now only bank in person with that account. I'm done with deceptive companies, sites, whateverIntelius.com

Just another crack pot scheme to wiggle some moneymout of unsuspecting consumers. I just wanted a phone number looked up for a name or business. This site said it offered free services, but that was a lie. I DO NOT need to know every single detail of a phone number and have you turn around to ask for payment. Completely ridiculous. AND the BBB wants to give them an A+ rating with over 200 complaints and over half of them unresolved... What a waste of timeIntelius.com
