      I have not authorized any services with this company. I have called their customer service line and can not get though to anyone that can help. *************). I'm just trying to connect with someone and get this issue resolved. I'm sure this is a mistake and I just want my money back.

      Under normal circumstances, when a user activates an account with **********************, they must provide an electronic signature authorizing Intelius to charge their payment method, including for the automatic renewal of their membership. Our Billing Terms are conspicuously explained on our registration page and in our Terms of Use. Customers are sent a confirmation email upon signup. If a user completes their initial ********************** inquiry but does NOT enter their payment information, they will not be charged and no membership will be created.

      In the event of proclaimed fraud, Intelius requests the billed recipient contact us first to ensure the account in question is thoroughly investigated. When this claim can be justifiably substantiated, the account in question is disabled from further use, all memberships to be cancelled, and all charges to be returned to the payment option holder (up to 12 months due to system limitations).

      After further investigation, the charges on this account were disputed on January 17, 2022, creating a pending chargeback. This action automatically disabled the account. No further charges will be incurred.

      We are unable to issue a refund due to the chargeback claim. 

      A chargeback simply means the account is in dispute with *********************************** financial institution. They will receive an update directly from them regarding the resolution. I cannot comment further because the process is being handled by their financial institution.

      I have attempted on multiple occasions to contact the company to remove my personal information, including name, address, age, and relatives from their websites. The company should comply with their own Terms and in consideration of certain privacy laws throughout *****************, including the ***** and respect the wishes of people who do not wish to have their personal information published for their financial benefit. They have received what information I want removed multiple times to the email address *********************** In each response, the company has sent a canned response saying that it "could take up to 48 hours to remove the information" but in each case, the time lapsed and nothing was changed. So I am frustrated to the point of seeking help from someone else. Contacting their customer service and their suppression tool clearly do NOT work.

      intelius.com and its subsidiary peopleconnect.** is selling my personal information without my permission. I went to their removal Supresssion to remove my information and it is asking Date of Birth to Opt Out. This is PII personal information that can be used for further fraud and they may sell this information further. I don't want to provide this information as this seems like pure scam. These both sites are acting illegally and needs to be shut down. They need to remove my information as they don't have permission to sell my information and no other site is asking for Date of Birth information.

      I had a strange number call me so I called it back. It belonged to a really rude girl and I was trying to see who it was. Paid .99 for the membership and **** for the report just for them to have nothing.

      The business is trying to take money from my card for a monthly subscription for reverse phonecall I had a free 6 day trial that was is not even up yet and they tried three times already. And I cancelled the subscription. I want them to stop trying to withdrawel $34.95 out of my card they are trying everyday . I can't even cash my check cause they'll take the money and I'll never get it back.

      Customers are able to cancel online from within their account, through our Customer Phone Support, or by sending an email to [email protected]. After a thorough investigation, we have determined that no cancellation attempts were made through any of these channels.  

      ************ created her trial membership on December 17, 2022 in the amount of $1.01. This membership was set to roll over into a monthly membership billing at $37.05 per month. We attempted to rebill on December 23, 2022 and again on December 26, 2022.  

      As a courtesy, we have cancelled all memberships and cancelled any pending payments for Ms. ***** account. No further charges will be incurred and we will not attempt to rebill.       I have called i have emailed this company and its affiliates. I want all the information they are cmpiling and selling, mostly incorrect about me REMOVED FROM THEIR WEB SITES.       Intelius's opt-out page is not working. I have been asking to have my data removed from its site. This URL https://suppression.peopleconnect.us/login says that an email will be sent to allow for removal but it is not sent. I reviewed my spam folder along with inbox. I also tried two different emails ******* and yahoo) in case one was blocking it and it wasn't received by either. I want my data removed from all their various websites.
