MY PERSONAL INFO AND RECORD. PLEASE REMOVE Record: de3ce002-de57-4f49-8a7b-026ad7a84a3a I AM A VICTIM OF ID THEFT. Requested removal multiple times via email. THEY DEMAND that I confirm "data" that is antiquated and no longer applicable to me. Most of the emails and phone numbers are WRONG. Their website states that you can use the suppression tool but whenever I attempt it, DOES NOT WORK. I did as they demanded and contacted customer service to verify my identity another way and I am redirected to the suppression tool. I never requested that they add my personal data to multiple sites. I want my data removed from all of their websites. I receive this message back: Unfortunately, we were unable to identify a report or validate your identity based on the information provided. How despicable is that? I have sent Intelius a request to have my information removed from their searches and they denied my request for lack of phone number or email address. This is a scam. Through their suppression tool, they send you a list of phone numbers and email addresses to verify through that are either decades old or were never yours to begin with. I want my information removed from their search results, People Connect and all other associated sites, databases and affiliates systems. The nature of this dispute is Intelius' Non-Compliance.On July 27th, 2024, I submitted my first request to have Intelius suppress my personal information. Since then, I have made several requests without proper relief.I have diligently followed the instructions on Intelius to email Intelius' Support directly. Despite my repeated attempts and following their instructions, I'm repeatedly sent back, "[...]Thank you for your message. Our ****************** allows you to locate and suppress your public data from appearing on our website without assistance. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like you've started that process. [...] If you have difficulty using the ******************, there are instructions and contact links within the ****************** that you can access for further assistance."I have spoken with three separate Intelius Support Representatives: ******, ******, and *****.I have experienced five and half weeks of this behavior. I do not want Intelius or its affiliates to sell or give away my personal information. What I'm complaining about specifically is the phone number look up which doesn't actually look ANYTHING up. It shows a slider bar pretending like it's searching multiple databases and acting like it found a bunch of information and THEN they try to charge you for a service after pretending like they found something.Business Response

I have attempted several times to have Intelius REMOVE my listing (and family members including a MINOR) from Intelius website. My name is ********* ** ******. Intelius is insisting I divulge personal information about myself to them (a 3rd party I NEVER hired) BEFORE they remove my listing-further opening myself up to identity theft. Hello, the website Intelius collects data about individuals available via public records. They then use this information to create a report which can be searched in their online database. In reviewing the information they hold about me, I discovered that they have a photo that is no longer available on the web anywhere and is not part of public records or the public domain. I have exchanged 11 emails with them on this matter and asked them to remove it from their internal database. They have replied that they will suppress my data per my request but have not confirmed they will delete this photo. I believe that having collected this photograph is a violation of existing privacy regulations and there is no reason why they should not remove from their internal files. My email correspondence has been unsuccessful thus I am filing this compliant. It is my hope that by filing this complaint that they will remove the photograph from their database and stop collecting photos they download from the web and include in aggregated reports.Business Response

Hello. I have Experian for credit monitoring. Part of that credit monitoring is to remove personal data from personal data sites. On occasion I need to request the removal directly from these companies. In this case for Intelius.com, who is owned by a company called PeopleConnect. The absolute scam of this company is they have such outdated personal info such as an email or phone from 20 years ago, and they hide behind that guise as to why they can't remove me. This is a tactic used by these scumbag companies to keep your info public. PeopleConnect a scumbag company owns truthfinder.com, intelius,com, instantcheckmate.com, and USSearch.com. I have been attempting to get my information removed/suppressed from Intelius for over 2 weeks now. I first attempted suppression through their automated online system, but my info wasn't removed. I then contacted Intelius support on 8/12 requesting removal, and was told that they couldn't find a profile matching my information. I sent back 5 screenshots showing my info still being supplied by Intelius on the following sites:Intelius AnyWho Addresses.com ReversePhoneLookup Yellow Pages The Intelius support agent responded that my profile had been found and suppressed, and that it could take up to 48 hours for the information to be removed. This timeline has now passed and my information is still available on all of the above mentioned sites. When a user activates their account, they must provide an electronic signature authorizing Intelius to charge their payment method as described, including for the automatic renewal of their membership. Our Billing Terms are conspicuously explained on our registration page and in our Terms of Use. Customers are sent a confirmation email for any orders placed on the site.
In order to access the services and obtain a report, they must first log into their account by going to ********************/login. Their username will be the email address used to create their membership, and the password is the one they entered upon creating their account. If they do not recall their password, please click the Forgot My Password link on the login page or contact us so that I may reset their password manually.
We have cancelled all memberships and issued a reversal to ************************* account back to the payment option used to enroll, and no further charges will be incurred.
