I am writing to file a formal complaint regarding the unauthorized and harmful disclosure of my personal information by Intelius through their system. This service appears to be publicly displaying sensitive and potentially damaging information about me online, without my consent or knowledge, such as:Current and previous addresses.Full name Age Family details Date of birth This information could be used for identity theft, stalking, or other malicious purposes.I demand that Intelius immediately cease the dissemination of this personal information online.Furthermore, I am trying to remove the information through their website and it is virtually impossible, which is a clear violation of privacy laws. I cannot successfully request to suppress my personal information from Intelius/PeopleConnect due to their removal tool not being operative. This is a legal right I have that is not being honored. I request that the job of suppressing my personal data/information for sale (report ID included in complaint details) be finished.

On December 17th 2024 I used intelius service to look up a phone number. I paid the .95 cents for the trial basis and then immediately canceled my membership. They also charged me $3.99 on the same date and for what? I didn't order anything else!

Consistent with applicable laws, all material terms, including billing details and automatic renewal terms, as well as service add ons are clearly disclosed before submitting payment information, and each user is required to check a box separately agreeing to those terms before being charged. Our registration page and our Terms of Use clearly outline the details of our billing terms. Customers also receive a confirmation email for all orders made on the site.
We have cancelled all memberships and refunded Mr. ********* account back to the payment method used to enroll, and no further charges will be incurred.

Intelius' data suppression tool does not work. I have suppressed my personal data multiple times and my personal information still appears on their affiliated websites. This has caused me to be stalked and a victim of a crime. For example, Zabasearch, which uses Intelius, still has me able to be found via my phone number.

They advertised providing criminal records search and supply but did not provide it. I know the person I looked up has a criminal record.

Done a free trial with this company for phone number reversal. Canceled the trial within allowed time .Download of documents cost extra. I couldnt access documents. I am still being charged.

****** notified me this website is selling my personal information with out my consent. ****** has requested Intelius (+37 affiliates data broker websites with whom they share information) to remove my personal information as well as stop sharing and selling my personal information. However, the request was made over 4 months ago and Intelius still has not removed my personal information from their website or their affiliates websites. I would like my personal information removed from their website and all of their affiliates and data brokers websites.

I requested that this company remove my data from this and all affiliated sites, however, their suppression tool does not work and never sent a verification code. I then contacted customer service as the site directed, with the *** associated with my information. I then received an email saying that I needed to provide them with additional past phone numbers, emails, and addresses, so they can verify it's me. I refuse to provide additional information to a company that I'm trying to remove my information from. I tried again to use their suppression tool, with no success. Sent the *** containing my information, which they again refused to remove.
