      The company Instant Check mate has been charging my credit card for $28.80 a month since 2016 we have contacted them and they said that we dont have an account with them , yet our credit card is still charged every month and we have had to cancel our credit cards numerous times and they still seem to get our information and charges keep coming, even after the bank issuing the credit card put a stop payment on anything coming from this vendor it still keeps happening. We have lost $2880.80 in the past 8 years and many hours of our time trying to contact them and they keep stealing our credit card information and money.

      Our records show, the account associated with the email address ***************** has been deactivated since February 15, 2016, and has not received any recent charges. 

      An additional active account has been identified, linked to the email address ********************** and was successfully activated on January 9, 2023. 

      When a user activates their account, they must provide an electronic signature authorizing Instant Checkmate to charge their card as described, including for the automatic renewal of their membership. Our Billing Terms are conspicuously explained on our registration page and in our Terms of Use. Customers are sent a confirmation email for any orders placed on the site.

      We have cancelled all memberships and refunded ******* Slowiks account back to the payment option used to enroll, and no further charges will be incurred.       I have never agreed to have my personal information shown on any public website. Whenever I receive an opt out form in the mail from any entity, I immediately complete the form indicating I do not want my personal information shared. When a searched my name on ****** I found my name, address, phone number on different search engines. I have been trying for hours to remove my information from a company called Instant Checkmate. I finally reached a page where I can remove my information and it indicates Removal frozen. How can I get this company to remove all of my personal information from their website plus all the other websites they are associated with. Please help as there is no way to reach this company.

      I previously asked for my info to be deleted under complaint #********. on 6/27 I was informed it was done. When you input in a search engine ************ it still shows "***************************** FOUND". I want my name and phone number permanently removed.

      for exactly 1 day my info disappeared from ******* now it shows the same "***************************** found." This is a problem between Instant Checkmate that needs to be resolved between them. Removing my info for 1 day is not an acceptable solution.

      I have cancelled my subscription and they keep a charging my account. I have call to let them I cancelled back 2022 and they just charged my account June 2023. This is the second time this year they did it. I dont even go on the website. On my account I dont have a credit/debit card saved but for some reason they are still charging my bank account. Pictures show when it was cancelled and when it was charged again. But with no current open subscription.

      We can confirm that two Instant Checkmate accounts were located with ********************* phone number. Account number ********* was canceled on July 27, 2022, and no further charges have been incurred with this account. Account number *********, created on February 5, 2022, has an active Unlimited Phone Report Membership that was purchased on March 9, 2023.

      We have cancelled all memberships associated with account number *********, refunded the account back to the payment option used to enroll, and reversed the pending charge. No further charges will be incurred. Additionally, we have disabled this account for further use.       I have reached out to company in two separate occasions to remove my information off their website as I am survivor of abusive relationships my information online is very dangerous.       I have been emailing Instant Checkmate for over a month now trying to get them to remove my address & my personal information from their website. On June 14th, ***** from instant Checkmate said that they removed my information from their website. It never was taken down so I followed up 1 week ago again. ******* responded that they removed my information. But it is STILL listed on instant checkmate. This feels like a complete invasion of privacy! Please remove my ****** address from Instant Checkmate's website!

      We appreciate Mr. ********** for bringing the SiteJabber review to our attention. The review referenced in his complaint was not left on the Instant Checkmate website but on one operated by SiteJabber, a third party, as shown by the sitejabber.com domain listed at the top of the screenshot provided. SiteJabber is a reputation management platform that allows customers of various businesses to leave honest feedback online.

      Instant Checkmate does not and has never promoted criminal activity such as stalking. Additionally, the Instant Checkmate Terms of Use, Section 8 Restrictions" states in part that:

      Please read this persons review and consider contacting law enforcement. Your company should never support the work of criminals and certainly NOT allow such promotional content on your website, even within customer reviews. It seems your company makes a good habit of responding to ALL reviews, especially within the timing of this review. It is ILLEGAL to knowingly support or promote criminal activity. Even if there is a loophole that somehow make these kinds of reviews legal, please show some human decency. This reviewer is a self-proclaimed stalker and is promoting your service to further his stalking behavior. Fact: Stalking is illegal. Fact: The target of a stalker is a victim. Fact: The victim is the person who is HARMED by the criminal. Fact: Your companys website is promoting use of your product to stalkers / criminals TO HARM VICTIMS. In your ****, your company maintains the right to remove customer comments left in public review from its website. Please exercise this right regarding this particular comment AND please scrub thru past comments and develop tighter screening and removal for the future.This advice is offered with all sincerity, not to point and publicly shame your company. Of course, how your reports of publicly available information are used is not within your control; however, once you promote the use of your reports to further a crime, your company could be seen as furthering or facilitating a criminal act and may be found legally responsible as well.But reallybe human beings and stop advertising that your information is ideal for stalkers to ****, track, harass, and harm their victims.       I performed a background check on myself around January 31st of this year and paid a 1 time charge. This company fraudulently added reoccurring payments to my cred card. I called them to stop charging my card. They said they would. I got a new credit card and the company kept charging my new credit card. Their recurring payments practices are fraudulent and I want them to STOP charging my credit card! I already went to my bank to get them blocked, but people need to know what this business is doing.
