Weve requested PeopleFinders.com to remove and stop publicly publishing our personal information on numerous occasions with no luck. They dont seem to reply to support requests. Mine and my minor sons information is appearing on their website with our home address and names. We are hoping to get our personal information deleted from your databases. I am rejecting this response because: Thank you for reaching out once more. You are correct in that property records are public records, however, it is false that PeopleFinders.com has my permission to collect, store, share, and sell this information for profit after the property owner (being me) has requested their information be removed from your private databases. Property records are available to anybody who requests them. Usually through the county records office/county clerk. However, as a private company (corporation) you are required to remove this information upon request from an individual under which you were not granted permission to collect and/or share this information. PeopleFinders.com lists phone numbers next to property records. Cell phone numbers are automatically unlisted and private. Landlines are public. My primary residence is in *********. My secondary residence is in **********. This affords my family further rights regarding data held by private companies that is not legally required to be kept. The reason we take this issue seriously is because we have suffered from identity theft issues in the past, so having our information out there is not ideal. If Police Reports and ************* Dispute information is needed to verify this, please let me know. Our next step will be filing complaints with both the ********** and ********* Attorney Generals Offices. As well as FTC & FCC complaints. Thanks again.Initial Complaint

I subscribed to peoplefinders servcie on November 26th. The subscription was for $0.95. As it was reasonable and minimal I was ok paying them. I had to provide my credit card information in tehir site for automatic payment for the subscription. Least did I know that they were a fraud and would charge their subscribers exorbitant amount without the subscriber's consent. In addition to the $0.95 that they charged me on 11/26/2023, they charged me the below 2 amounts in a matter of 7 days, to my credit card without my consent. I do not even know what they charged me these 2 amount for. Had a number that kept spamming me. I went to look it up using people finders. It was 95 cents for one lookup and no other charges if you canceled them within 3 days I believe. After I found out that there was no information on the number I instantly canceled my subscription but was still charged another $5. So $5.95 for one lookup. On 12/1/2023 I had money removed from my bank account when I only paid for one report. I did not pay monthly and they signed me up without my consent! This is ridiculous! This company fraudulantly enrolled me in their lifetime membership where you can only receive 10 reports a month for *****. I did not want this and you cannot find this type of a membership anyplace on their website. They sent me an email sharing the following memberships:Free Account/No Active Membership This means you have a username and password with us, but do not have a membership. You are able to run searches, but will only see basic information and will be prompted to purchase to unlock more information. Basic Membership This membership includes up to 150 of a combination of the following searches People Search Reverse Phone Lookup Property search You will be able to see contact information, relatives, and associates. If you want access to more detailed information, such as criminals records, you will need to purchase a single background report, or upgrade to a Premium Membership. Now that I see what I have been charged for never using the site m, only in the trial week, I want all the money back excep the initial charge in August. How can deducting this much money from an account be legal? I never approved these charges and they state that the charge is $***** per month if you sign up. The only thing they ever did was take my money:: August 3 $*****, Aug 7, $*****, Sept 3 $*****, Sept 6 *****, Oct 2, *****, Nov 1 *****, Nov 5 $*****. I have called several times, no one ever picked up, I have emailed them a number a times, no reply. I have not been given access to my account.
