I was trying to open a Poshmark account to sell my wares. The account was opened. I have many sales. My issue is Poshmark refuses to accept any of my debit cards for these transactions. So I went directly to my bank was there for a couple of hours while they worked with Poshmark and my debit card to get it approved. Finally Customer support at ********************** stated that they would be submitting a transaction on my debit card that would only be used to verify who I was. And once verification was complete they would release the funds. 5 hours later the transaction arrived for $518.44 to ************. According to my customer support person I was to approve this transaction for verification to be completed. I did as requested. Verification didnt go through. Poshmark customer support refused to release the funds back to my bank account. I contacted my bank and filed a fraudulent transaction. My bank cancelled my debit card and put a hold on my account. Im not sure at this point how to proceed with this issue.Business Response

On November 27, 2024 I purchased a purse on the website called Poshmark. A platform where individuals can sell new or used merchandise. With the exception of selling anything counterfeit. As detailed in their own rules. I did not receive the merchandise a Versace purse until January of 2025. Their turn around time is approximately 3-5 days till you receive what you have purchased. Although Poshmark immediately removes the money from your account. So you are charged for the item before receiving it. Poshmark has their own policy that Poshmark will authenticate anything over $500. The purse that I bought was during a live auction on Kobie1201 on Poshmark on 11-27-24. You can review the footage. I was never given a chance to take a screenshot of the purse nor given any information about the purse. Not even the name of the purse. After several attempts to collect information on this purse that ended up with taxes and delivery at a price of $711.00 I work hard for my money and this was a large purchase for me. It was delivered nearly 2 months later after I purchased it. So I lost out on the seasons rush to resell it. I did not sign for it. My husband did. I had made several attempts from Kobie1201 to request only to be told that she was busy because it was her birthday. Except that she would get back to me. Except she never got back to me. When I opened the box and pulled out the purse I noticed the certificate of authenticity from Poshmark. No details not even the name of the purse. I tried doing research on my own on the internet and couldnt find the purse. The purse had a pungent smell to it. I immediately knew something was wrong with this purse. This is supposed to be a luxury purse. It weighs about 10lbs the purse alone. And there are such obvious stains on the front of the purse that Kobie1201 never showed. I had it re authenticated. I am rejecting this response because: I had all the documents from a 3rd reputable authorization dealer that sent me the information that this purse is indeed counterfeit.
I sent the purse back. It was lost over a month and a half and I got the purse back and I sent it back to Poshmark.
I just received the purse back from Poshmark with no papers or anything to indicate anything about the purse. My feeling is that they close the case.So I indeed would like to open up this case again the amount we are talking is $711.76

Was never refunded $27.05 back to my Members1st *** **** card for Item transaction I paid for but sold by seller to another customer without telling me first. ********************** claims it refunded the money $27.05 on January 14. But my Members1st *** account (Based at *********, **) NEVER received the refunded money (Today is Thursday February 6, 2025. I already waited 17 business days and POSHMARK has made NO REFUND to my **** CARD nor TRUE attempt at making things proper, ethically honest. This company is raking in millions in profit and uses national TV promos on major TV media. Why cant they give me back my refund? I am concerned their office address is fake, may not actually exist. POSHMARK has no telephone number though they advertise their disconnected phone number on the internet as ************. PLEASE ask POSHMARK to change change written company policy in their FAQS that they'll resolve a transaction refund when in fact they probably will not. I had accidentally purchased a pair of earrings for $243.15 during a 4am live silent show. I tried 11 times to contact the seller to cancel and was ignored for 6 days. Poshmarks only customer service contact is ********************************* It took several days before they responded to me with a series of canned messages. Poshmark supported the seller and awarded the full amount that was withdrawn my cash balance, not my credit card. Both the seller and Poshmark disregarded my pleading messages and then closed the case after my appeal. Poshmark recommended I resell the earrings on the Poshmark platform most likely to get another 20% of the sale. Poshmark deposited $5 into my account for the inconvenience to be used only on Poshmark. The seller shipped the package and Poshmark agreed she couldn't cancel. The seller appeared in a chat when she didn't receive the funds and took no responsibility for her actions The earrings are worth a fraction of the cost, around $25, comparable to like items online. The seller does this habitually and intentionally as reported in social media. My goal was to return the item for a full refund and was refused by both the seller and Poshmark. This was/is a scam and I the victim. The resolution is for me to return the inferior item and get a refund as soon as possible. Poshmark is ignoring the problem. This issue was not a 'misunderstanding" but about my effort to alert Poshmark about the sellers actions after this accidental purchase. Poshmark is skirting the issue, showed total disregard, was unbusinesslike, and completely unprofessional. Poshmark is aware of the BUY NOW banner, and how it can easily be touched or tapped on their app as I believe happened in my case. The point of the complaint is about Poshmark and the seller who ignored my messages for six (6) days causing angst and uncertainty of the outcome.
The original transcript depicts the timeline and the seller's fabrication. After escalating the case, Poshmark favored the seller releasing my cash balance, not using my credit card on file. Poshmark recommended I resell on their platform, and the seller stated an ambiguous Also you have the option to repurchase at $500 and Poshmark could also authenticate for you for free. I am still unsure what that means but Poshmark agreed to it and supported the seller. Poshmark was focused on my mistake and not the sellers outlandish defense. The details of the item were realized once I opened the package and questioned the authenticity. How is it possible to resell this item by using the seller's description? I checked the listing, I realized the seller had omitted details of the item, as well as the video she mentioned in the transcript. This scheme is supported by Poshmark.

It is not all about the accidental purchase, but the way Poshmark chooses to handle unscrupulous activity on their platform. I would prefer to return this item to Poshmark so the seller can resell it. I am assuming it is out of the question since the item is not worth more than twenty-five dollars, and why Poshmark and the seller recommended me to resell it at a greater loss. Using fraud to make a profit is not a good business model whatsoever. For a company worth over one billion dollars, they should be ashamed of themselves. I purchased a jacked on 1-28-2025. Seller description claims "Faux-Fur-Trim Hooded Puffer Coat L never worn mint condition" Seller used **** store photo in her description. The photo is of jacket - UPC ************ & this is not the item I received. The item received is of ********************************* stock photo has 3.5 puffed areas below pockets - the jacket I received had only 2.5 puffed areas below pocket.The Faux fur on the jacket I received did not have solid white faux fur trim as shown in stock photo seller used but a blend of dark and white faux fur trim.Also, the jacked I received reeked of laundry detergent which leads me to believe that it was washed prior to ship. Additionally there was chewing gum in the pocket of the jacket received.Jacket was received late afternoon on 2/3/2025 and next day I contacted Poshmark & filed a case.They denied the case without reading or understanding that the item I received was not as described or pictured by the seller & ignored the fact that the it came washed prior to being shipped to me. My order number Im inquiring about is: 678312163a2fa75de754cda0 Order was never received, and Poshmark refused to do their due diligence in the matter. First off, they used the wrong email to send the investigation in for ***************** therefore *********** was not able to contact me to confirm I havent received the parcel. Poshmark did make the courier aware that the key was not left in the correct community mailbox. That was the issue from the beginning as they were stating according to *********** and the geographical location was correct based on driver. The issue was, driver did not put the key into my personal community mailbox. Therefore, I have no way of accessing a package if I do not have a key. I reached out to ***************** to explain and they said the sender needs to update them that the key was never left in the proper community mailbox and to confirm my proper email address for me to reply to their email. Case on their end was closed because I had no way to verify with them that I still never received my package threrefor they assumed that I had received it. It was absolutely disgusting on Poshmark that they did not do their due diligence in this matter and tampered with the Canada Post investigation by hiding the proper information they needed. They wanted to make sure they got their 30% cut from the sellers sale. It is actually disgusting how they conduct business and hide information. *********** asked seller to update the claim on their end and Poshmark never did and Canada Post was never able to verify with me that I was not able to receive my package and that the key was not left in my community mailbox. I shipped the New with tags - Retrofete dress to the buyer, however the buyer later messaged me and said that the dress was accidently going to her old address. She asked if there was a way she can update her address since it was being returned back to me the seller. We both reached out to Poshmark for clarity to reprint a Poshmark shipping label, but NEVER heard back. She stated that she needed the dress sooner rather than later for a dance, so she messaged me her address and I sent it via **** with a label. After I re-mailed the dress, I reached out to Poshmark to report the conversation, looking for some guidance. Upon reporting the conversation, Poshmark canceled the order and I was no longer able to communicate with the buyer only Poshmark support via email. Once the buyer received the dress, I was asked to reach out to Poshmark to let them know that the item was delivered so I could receive payment from the buyer. That never happened. Poshmark shared that the buyer changed her mind and canceled the item on 1/28 and it would be shipped back to me. Recently I filed a complaint with Poshmark regarding a ************* Neverfull bag I sold about a month and a half ago. According to Poshmarks policy, there is an authentication process for high-value items like ************* bags, which typically takes one to three business days. These items must be sent to a specific address for verification before being approved, after which the seller receives payment, and the buyer gets the item.However, despite following this process, the transaction has been delayed for over six weeks. As the seller, I have not received my payment, and the buyer has not received the item. Since the beginning, communication with Poshmark has been frustrating, with little to no response until I explicitly stated that if I did not receive a resolution within a few business days, I would contact my lawyer and take legal action. Only then did they respond, saying they are still investigating the whereabouts of the item and that it may take another one to two weeks or even longer.This situation is extremely upsetting. It is unprofessional and unacceptable that neither the buyer nor I have received what we were promised. Both of us are very frustrated with Poshmarks handling of this issue. This is a serious customer service failure.We need immediate assistance in resolving this matter properly. Please address this issue as soon as possible.
