Poshmark approved a buyer's fraudulent claim that I sent the wrong size dress. Poshmark did not conduct a thorough examination of the time-stamped photo evidence I provided in the case notes. ***** switched her dress with mine and returned a different dress. I escalated the issue with Poshmark Support and submitted time-stamped photos taken of the dress before shipment. According to Poshmark, they cannot ascertain if I sent the right dress because I did not add the photos to my original listing. Poshmark did not investigate the time-stamped photo evidence provided in the case (prior to approving the fraudulent claim) and consequent emails I sent their support team. I am rejecting this response because Poshmark violated their Terms of Service (TOS) and did not provide Seller Protection. Poshmark refuses to release my seller earnings.Poshmark approved the buyer's fraudulent case based on a single close-up photo in the case notes. I provided irrefutable time-stamped photo evidence that proves the dress I shipped the buyer was exactly as advertised in the listing. Poshmark did not investigate the case thoroughly during the case and after when I escalated the issue.
A little investigation shows that the buyer has sold replica items in her closet. She also trades on the Poshmark platform, which is against Poshmark's TOS. Despite the buyer's multiple violations of Poshmark's TOS, Poshmark made no efforts to protect sellers and keep the community safe from unscrupulous members.
I requested escalation to Poshmark's legal team but haven't received their contact information.

ORDER DATE Oct-14-2023 ORDER NUMBER 652af1de94c4345054209ff9 I ordered an Everlane sweater on Poshmark from a person who listed it as a S and in excellent condition. When I received it, it had clearly been shrunken, and it was stiff and had lost elasticity due to being shrunken- clearly damaged by improper cleaning methods. I wrote the posher, she ADMITTED to shrinking it but said she listed the measurements, and therefore, it was my fault that I purchased this sweater from her. She never claimed that she shrunk the item in her description and she never claimed that the texture of the sweater was ruined as a result of that. I wrote to poshmark and they determined that she was correct because I should have looked at the measurement. This is HIGHLY unethical- there was no way for me to know that this was a damaged sweater. I have a similar sweater from Everlane, and that's why I had the confidence to buy it, because I knew that if it was in "excellent condition", I would like the texture and the size would fit me. This is the point of retailers like Poshmark-- buyers buy based on trust and the description of the product. In my case, the person who sold it to be deliberately wanted to deceive. And Poshmark stands by them. I have used this service for many years, but this interaction makes me lose trust with them. I am rejecting this response because the seller admitted in our exchanges to shrinking the sweater- this ruined the size, quality, and texture of the sweater rendering it COMPLETELY UNUSABLE (I don't know how many times I have to repeat myself). I'm confused as to how Poshmark thinks they know in what condition the sweater reached me, and instead, they side with their sellers regardless of what condition the clothes are sold in. I've had good experiences with Poshmark in the past, which is why I am a customer. However, Poshmask has proven to be unethical and untrustworthy in its business practices. They deserve the low rating they have on BBB. Buyers beware.

I bought a high end purse for my daughter that was to be inspected for quality by Poshmark. When I received the purse it had stains and a hole in the bottom, at no point were these issues disclosed, over **** dollars for the purse. 10/18/23 I was charged $50.50 at Poshmark.com for a live bid on a trench coat. I reached out to poshmark immediately as soon as I saw the charge informing them I did NOT authorize that transaction. I was informed by poshmark that live bids are not refundable and I would have to contact the seller. I reached out to the seller and was informed that the policy for poshmark was that they do not refund live bids. I have NO idea how I made a bid on an item i didnt need, or want and the seller mailed me the trench coat. I do not want it and want to send it back to them and get a refund and neither poshmark or the seller want to refund me. I am rejecting this response because: I contacted poshmark immediately after this unauthorized transaction was sent and the response from poshmark was to contact the seller. They NEVER instructed me to fill out any form. I contacted the seller prior to her mailing out the item and she declined to cancel the order and mailed it out anyways. I then responded to poshmark again after receiving an email to release funds to the seller saying I never authorized this transaction and the seller was not trying to get the item back to return. I have attached all emails with time stamps of date and times to poshmark immediately after this unauthorized transaction and the conversation with the seller. Nowhere does Poshmark says I had to fill out another form.

On October 12, 2023 I ordered from Poshmark, a Monster High Clawdia Wolf doll from seller @mamaminas for $77.61. On October 16, the package from the seller was delivered to me but inside of it, there was not the Clawdia Wolf doll but instead another character named Neighthan Rot. I thought the seller had made a simple mistake and shipped the wrong doll by accident, so I contacted Poshmark and the seller on the same day, October 16, to have this returned to them so I can get my money back- since I didn't get what I ordered.It's worth to note that according to the Posh Protect Policy, only I can accept an order if it's good, otherwise I have to open a return request to get my refund. This has to be done within 3 business days and be under "What's Covered", which in my case: "Incorrect or missing item" was valid.I submitted evidence pictures of the wrong item and the shipping label along with the return request.On October 18, Poshmark denied my return request and paid the seller with my money without my permission. Their reasoning was that there " No reason to believe that wrong item was sent" despite all the evidence I submitted in my return request.Poshmark and the so called sellers are fraudulent people who do not follow their own policies, so their whole website needs to be re-checked and shut down if, and I do believe will be the case, fraudulent activity is indeed found.I also have to get my money back for receiving a different item than what I ordered, and not even getting the chance of returning it.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because:Under our Posh Protect Policy, I am entitled to a full refund if I receive an item different than what I ordered, which was the case here. My account had erroneously been flagged and was contacted by a Poshmark representative letting me know of that mistake (see attached). Furthermore, in no part of the Posh Protect Policy does it say that a flagged account will result in all return requests denied. Therefore, the denial of return/refund request for order 65280559f95523461df3a7a0 was made by a Poshmark representative who did not follow company policies and made a personal decision instead of following the already set-in-place policy. That is fraudulent behavior and whoever denied my return request needs to be fired and Poshmark as a whole needs to be investigated by the BBB. In conclusion, the Posh protect Policy was not followed by Poshmark itself and so they committed a federal offense by not following their policies, hence they should be prosecuted and I should have my money refunded.

Ordered an item on 10/8(sun), federal holiday Monday (10/9). I was provided screenshot of tracking number from seller dated 10/8. I was told item would be put in mail on 10/10. I have tried multiple times to contact Poshmark customer service which is only available by email. I have 2-3 big issues . The first being a fake designer back pack . I am partly satisfied with Poshmarks response to my complaint . They did solve part of my problem by refunding me 3/4 of my purchase price of a fake purse sold on their web site . I commend them for that move .The payment was sent as an account credit on their site. I was disappointed that the security issues and compromised account possibility was not addressed or taken seriously . Ignoring my complaint of possible phishing to my account while shopping on their app. I am currently waiting for a conclusion from Paypal . I followed their rules while on the app , but a payment agreement via PayPal is not an excuse for poor internet security . Lastly I was warned by customer support that if I continued to complain my account would be in jeopardy and permanently closed .

I ordered a Patagonia flannel shirt that one of their sellers had advertised in her closet. I placed the order on October 08,2023 and Poshmark put a hold on my money for the purchase. The seller never shipped the shirt and zero communication as to why not. After waiting 8 days for the seller to ship and nothing I requested that the order be cancelled. Poshmark assured me that they had cancelled the order and that the money would be refunded immediately back to the card that I used to pay them. I spoke to my bank yesterday and they assured me that Poshmark has not refunded the money. I would really appreciate my refund and I will never shop on Poshmark again!!
