I ordered an item and the amount was immediately debited from my checking account, it never shipped after I cancelled the item the seller finally shipped. On Poshmark I purchased a mens leather Jacket October 4, 2023, in the amount of $152.42. I never received the Jacket. On September 28, I purchased a ****** ***** on Poshmark for $1700. It was advertised as authentic and Poshmark offers an authentication service. The bag was sent by the seller to Poshmark for authentication. Poshmark examined the bag, apparently did not notice various red flags, and sent it to me with a card in the box saying they had judged it to be authentic.When I received it, the feel of the leather and overall quality led me to believe it wasnt real. I opened a request to return the bag to the seller, which triggered a simultaneous receive by Poshmark. They asked for many pictures, which I sent. During this process, I did a lot of research into how to identify counterfeit ****** bags. One way is by looking at the tag inside the bag. If it has rounded edges, it is not authentic. This bag had a tag with rounded edges. I explained this concern to Poshmark and the significance of the rounded edges. Poshmark then took no action on the review for 7 days. Today, without any explanation or acknowledgment of the tag or other issues, they declared that I cannot return the bag. I paid $1700 for the bag, of which Poshmark kept ~$300 for commission. I have since read that they do not employ real authenticators and others have complained about receiving fraudulent bags. I am frustrated by the process, and by paying so much money to end up with a fake bag that I do not want. I would like to be able to return the bag and get my money back.Business Response

I placed order on 9/28/23. Order number is 65161C2bd6ab5dfa2fda43e9 for a total of $33.95. A person called @so_adore was supposed to send me a pair of shoes. Poshmark system didn't use the address I put in the order & replaced it with an old address I no longer have. Poshmark was supposed to send seller another shipping label, but their AI robot cancelled the ********* didn't get my money back or my shoes. I used a prepaid mastercard because I didn't want to get ripped off. Their phone number has a vmail box that is full & they keep having the robot telling me nothing. ***** purchased two items from me and received both. When she received both deliveries, she said she did not order both these items, however, she has not provided any evidence to Poshmark nor myself. Poshmark says they allow 72 hours for a buyer to open a formal complaint or seller to be paid if that does not happen. However its been well past that time and Poshmark isnt allowing funds to be delivered despite not having an open case with any proof that is shown under the order. Poshmark is breaking their own rules and robbing sellers of their funds. I havent been provided an opportunity to see any proof however my very expensive product is being held hostage by the buyer. I sold an item (Threshold Haunted House) to a buyer on Sept 25th. Order # 642a325bd74b0f4e39bc9542. I packaged the item up using lots of bubble wrap and tissue paper and sent it to the buyer right away. After the buyer received the item a case was opened stating there was damage to one corner of the house. I honestly didnt even notice the damage and while evident in the listing photos a return was granted to the buyer. I was fine with this, however, upon receiving my item back it was in horrible condition. When I unboxed it it was barely wrapped and basically just thrown in a box with no protection during shipping. Upon inspection there was an entire chunk missing from the corner of the house, a tree was barely still attached, and the roof of the house was bent/damaged. I immediately rejected the return and submitted photos of my item. I received an email back stating the buyers funds were released to them and that I had $20 in posh cash added to my account. I sent a total of three emails (the last being on 10/7) stating that this was not acceptable as my item was not received back in the condition I sent it. All emails from Poshmark said that they cant say what condition the item was originally in which makes no sense because there are three sets of photos (listing photos, buyers photos submitted with case, and mine after I received it back) and you can very much tell a huge difference. I was told they were going to look into the buyer and take appropriate action which doesnt go along with not being able to see the item was damaged. I have requested the earnings I would have made with this sell with every email I have sent. My last email has gone ignored for the last three days. My item was either intentionally destroyed by the buyer or damaged due to not being packaged appropriately. I would like my earnings refunded to me as the item is not repairable and cannot be resold due to this.Business Response

ordered a louis ******* tiny backpack from seller elle140 on poshmark on 09/24/2023. described as "excellent like new condition, no scuffs or marks" . item delivered on 10/06/2023 after going to poshmark authentication headquarters and staying for a couple days. item tracking changed by a week. within 30 minutes , i opened package with documentation and filed and completed a report for item not as described. company app blocked me from adding anymore information. called customer service phone number, not available. contacted customer support email with numerous photos and screenshots of chat with seller where ****** made accusations as well as stated they would use ****** photos to scam from now on. this is not what i paid for. initially i asked for a partial refund , and immediately changed to wanting a full refund after the harassment i received . poshmark has a "no bully" policy. poshmark auto closed my case this morning , 10/09/2023 and issued me a $100 posh credit which can only be used on their website or app. the item total was $1,455.20. i did everything i was supposed to do , poshmark states you have 72 hours to file for a return which i did . i have multiple photos as proof and the tracking which shows when it delivered . i would have gladly returned this item , had poshmark actually had human employees throughly review this case and provide me a return label. did not receive the product i ordered whatsoever. have photos i would like to email somewhere , cannot attach all here . this needs to be looked into by an actual person , and they need to uphold their return policies as it is clearly not as described . i need a full refund .Customer Answer

response: poshmark owes me $1,455.20. i have sent them emails at ******************************** since within 30 minutes of the item's delivery on 10/06/23. poshmark states returns must be filed for within 72 business hours. poshmark blocked me from adding anymore comments or information to the chat between myself and the seller @elle140. therefore i sent along all the information to them. on 10/09/2023 they stated the 72 hours had passed, which it had not, considering the item was delivered 2 hours before 5 pm on friday, and monday was columbus day. in between was saturday and sunday, which are not business days. however, i continued to reach out to them via email, via social media such as instagram and ******** all of which i received automated responses from stating that the information would be passed along to the correct team. i have sent numerous videos as well as photos clearly showing the proof of damages, that the item i received was not as described or what i agreed to pay for. they auto closed out my return and only stated "item as described". considering they held the item at their authentication center for days, altering the delivery date by an entire week, why was i not contacted then about the damages so i could refuse the order? i do not want this item. i abided by the rules. i submitted the claim within the time frame. return policy states if item is not as described, a full refund will be given. i have asked for a return label since the date of delivery, to which i have not been provided. poshmark refuses to speak to me. i have attempted to contact them by telephone. the number states there is no phone customer support available. their voicemail box is also full. i am owed $1,455.20. anyone can compare the listing photos and description to the photos and videos i have provided and see that it is not as described. seller @elle140 harassed and accused me. the only thing poshmark said about this was an automated message stating to report and block the user. the next day ******************** released a revision to their anti bullying, no harassment toleration policy. user has had nothing done to them. ******************** has not said a word to me about either of this instances. seller accused poshmark employees of damaging or switching out the item, specifically stating that the handbag that poshmark sent me is not the handbag the seller sent to poshmark to authenticate.i have numerous more photos and videos i would like to send to bbb and would be happy to comply with any form of investigation that can help lead to a resolution. there is wear and tear on every single corner of this item, where the leather has worn and rubbed away. there is deep scrapes, scratches and abrasions on the button closure on both sides of it. the upper interior portion has leather rubbed away in multiple areas. the interior is filthy, as well as the upper flap portion. the lower leather loop flap portion has leather rubbed away and is scraped in multiple areas. the bag is heavily used with excess wear and tear that is clearly visible on all parts of the handbag, and the seller admitted to such in the chat. this is not like newBusiness Response

I am rejecting this response because:the item was most certainly not as described. if something states "like new excellent condition no scuffs or marks", verbatim, and none of the photos show what i received , it is pretty clear it is not acceptable . the photos have been shared across the board and it is very clear the photographs depict obvious signs of wear and tear. however, i will list them once again for you: deep scratches and abrasions on all hardware, specifically the button closure. wear and rubbing away of leather on all four corners, a filthy interior, a filthy upper lining on the inner crevice of the flap, wear and rubbing away of leather on the leather fastener around the bottom hardware piece, wear and rubbing away of the leather along the upper lining and glazing cracks. not sure who claims to have "reviewed" the pictures, but anyone at all can compare them and see the damages. just because poshmark is refusing to admit their wrongdoing and outright refusal to uphold their own policies and attempting to commit theft and fraud does not mean i will let this go. how about also explain why , if my card was not saved on file in my user account of your app, and i specifically chose PAYPAL to run and process my payment form to then release to poshmark; why exactly did poshmark feel they were *********** process my card directly ? multiple things occurred here and your lies do not change the outcome.
