1 starTerrible company with shady practices. I received a gift card via Delta for this company. Shortly after receiving the gift cards, there was fraud on the card where the full amount was cleared from the cards. They make you jump through hoops to get back this money, even though it was a huge issue that impacted many of their customers at the same time due to a lack of property security in their network.Finally they reissued the card that was only valid for 3 months and if you don't use it in that period the amount of money expires! I wasn't aware of this as I didn't think I had to go through the terms to check this and each time you log in they suggest adding your own funds to the card - why are you asking people to add extra funds to a card that expires and then the company keeps the money. SO SHADY!!!Blackhawk Network Holdings, Inc.

1 starActivated card would not work. Started process of contacting blackhawk sent all information they asked for(each time submitted they kept asking for more). During this time and sending pictures of card like they asked, all of a sudden it had been used at ******. This was just a few days after giving them information and not by me. So now they say have to file with disputes. So far 10 emails and I guess they keep doing this so you quit trying. 1 starI received a gift card with the balance of $500.00 from my employer at Christmas as a part of an annual bonus/review.I activated the card online and within 30mins the card had been fraudulently accessed.I attempted to call the customer service phone number on the card. I was unable to access a live person. Everytime I called back, entered the card number, the automated system stated the card was blocked and disconnected the call. There is NO ability to select a human or representative to speak with whatsoever. I consider myself decently tech savvy and was completely baffled by the inability to receive proper service. Had I been intellectually disabled, or elderly I would not have been able to find a resolution. I called **** directly who put me through to JOKER CARD owned by Blackhawk network. I have been getting the rub around for 8 weeks now. I sent in a receipt and identification, filled out their forms etc. They keep telling me that a new card has been issued and yet I still have not received anything In 8 weeks. They stated yesterday another card is on the way. I asked for it to be express shipped with a tracking number and they wanted to charge me a ***** fee. I refused and asked for a supervisor. They claimed it would be sent in **** days. This is a massive issue. How many BILLIONS of dollars are lost to consumers every year? The website apparently is duplicated and at the very top of ****** which is a scam site used to capture the cards. ***** Blackhawk and equitable bank are doing NOTHING to protect consumers whatsoever. Something smells bad, and im going to get to the bottom of it. I am currently on hold with **** who is trying to get out of letting me make a complaint. **** is on the card, therefore they must take some responsibility in this. I am not letting this go. My next stop is the **** and social media to start a fire. Consumers are being scammed and frauded by **** ********* **** *** **** directly.
