      I have emailed this company a few times regarding a gift card we received that was used and drained before we ever even opened the card. Had been sitting in a bag with other gift cards for a few months being saved to use on a trip (all the other cards, which were not from this company, were fine by the way). They only give pretty sketchy responses. Initially, tried blowing me off saying it was outside of the dispute timeframe even though this was fraudulent activities. I frankly can't believe they have an A+ rating on here. They then emailed asking for pictures of the gift card, but then also crazy stuff like a utility bill to prove my address and a copy of the bank statement used to purchase the **** CARD....that was a gift.....not purchased by me. They know they're a **** card company right? All just seems crazy. Going to make sure any gift card I purchase for other people has no association with this company. They're going to respond that it's an active dispute and are working diligently, but they're not. And because I'm not sending them more personal info to get stolen and create more headaches for myself. The craziest part? The company that charged the card fraudulently is a **** CARD AND "POINTS" company. Probably owned or associated with Blackhawk but I haven't looked into that. SCAM company, shame on you.

      Purchased (45) $100 prepaid visas from them to give to residents. When my supervisor quit I found 11 of them in her drawer. They had just expired so I reached out to the company to get them reissued. I was told by email that they could do this. They requested proof of purchase as well as additional details which I provided. After that, no one responded to my emails. I even called customer service and left voicemails for this person, still no response. It has been years since I have attempted to get cards reissued. If anyone is thinking about using this service my recommendation is not to do so. They have very poor customer service when it comes to paying up and the cards expire quickly. I'm confident there are more trustworthy options available.

      They partnered with Best Of City to issue gift cards that do not work! I have used a $100 gift numerous times and the restaurants listed on their website and it does not work. It was even being ran like it should have and it does not work. I reached out to customer service and they did absolutely nothing! Its been a month at this point, this company is selling fake gift cards and pocketing the money

      It has been 11 weeks since I submitted my rebate for Mattress Firm. At 8 weeks I called and spoke to ******* to find out why the status was still pending. They did not know why and said they would escalate it. At 11 weeks I called to follow up on the escalation and spoke to **** who said they didn't have any new information and could do nothing else to escalate the process and all I could do is to wait indefinitely.

      My ecard recepient never received the egift. I purchased on 8-23-2022. $250 egift.I have emailed, live chatted and phoned their customer service at least 14 times since this purchase. At least 7 hours spent! My latest request is to have the egift reissued to me or else receive a refund. Nothing has been done so far. My case number is CS11396795.They tell me I must have ********** resolve this which is incorrect.Complicating matters is that I purchased using my husband's email address. His email address no longer works. Husband has Parkinsons and is in assistive living. Cashstar won't substitute my current email address even tho I made the purchase. I have PayPal purchase i.d. Get an attorney? I can afford one and I will get my $250 back one way or another. Otherwise it is fraud.Order #CNDXF7K8WR

      ZERO STARS. I attempted to order a $50 gift card off the Kohls app and used the apple pay option but it was declined. Knowing i had money in my account i figured it was an apple pay glitch so i put in my debit card information and it was declined again. Decided to try my credit union card and again it was declined. Except this time i immediately got a notification from my credit union that cash star debited $50 from my account which prompted me to check my BofA account and they also debited $100 from that account. When i called cash star customer service they informed me that they dont see any transactions with my name or debit card numbers. Called my banks and they told me that they cant do anything because the charge is still pending and they need to wait until the charge is processed to dispute. So now im out of $150 in my account and i ended up having to physically go into a kohls and get the $50 gift card. Shame on cash star for running such a scheme. Please make it make sense that my charges were declined but they still debited the money. I will never buy another gift card online except through amazon. So ridiculous that ive been waiting over a week now for the charges to fall off and they are still pending more than ***** hours. This must be how they can report growth in their company fraudulently holding onto peoples money when they have received no product. Absolutely disgusting.

      **************** was very inconsistent, had my case open last week of June, never received a follow up email after sending all the requirements needed. I would call every other week to follow up, different agents will give you different responses only to end up that there's no way for you to get your gift card back if you're a non-US resident (due to unavailability of billing address and US id). It should be clear to give warning for tourist buyer. They should also be investigated with how they handle fraud cases. It was unclear, inconsistent and unprofessional

      If I could give them no stars I would. Any time I've ever tried to purchase an item from a website that uses cashstar it declines my cards, a transaction still ends up pending on my accounts, and it takes forever for the funds to be released back to me. Avoid any and all websites that use cashstar, it's just a headache.
