1 starCan't activate my card, website keeps going down. Can't do anything on that stupid website and the chat is broken as well!! Horrible company, find another one and don't make your employees lives more miserable. I would never use this company.

1 starWe were given a **** debit card as a gift. We recently found it in a drawer, and although it had expired, their website says that if you call their number, they will re-issue a new card for the value that still remains. The funds have never been used. They should be able to be transferred to a new card. when you call the number the online recording says once a card expires, the funds are gone!! I stayed on the line to talk to a representative and no one ever picked up. Seems like bait and switch and I wonder if its actually legal for them to keep the funds.Blackhawk Network Holdings, Inc.

While federal law does specify that funds from gift cards cannot expire, promotional, loyalty, or rewards cards are exempt from this restriction. The program provider associated with those types of cards set the expiration date as part of their contract terms with us to ensure the funds are used within a specific time period rather than being held onto indefinitely. 1 starI gotta link from work about a gift card through this company. After getting the card added to my apple wallet I was never sent a link to activate my account and I have no way of getting the actual card number. Literally stole this money from me and there is no way to get it back and there is no customer service line that actually works. You need the card number to do anything, and if you get the card added digitally you never receive the card number. Absolute trash company, the owners of this company making bank off of poor people will burn for this.Blackhawk Network Holdings, Inc.

1 starWe were given a $100 **** gift card as a gift. As soon as we registered it and it was activated someone used our gift card. When we tried to use it the first time ourselves, it was all gone. Now weve been in contact, supposedly, with Blackhawk to dispute the transactions that we did not make and they are asking for our bank account number and our personal info from electric company. (Of course we did it give this info.). We are being scammed again!!! So a gift we received we are never getting back.Blackhawk Network Holdings, Inc.

Hello ********************,As mentioned in Dispute Case DS0655360, ONE of the following documents is required to establish ownership so we may begin the dispute: a purchase receipt, an activation receipt, or a bank statement reflecting the card purchase. We understand that you may not feel comfortable with providing a bank statement, hence why the other two options are provided. It also advises that in the event you are unable to provide any of the above three documents, please include a copy of your utility or phone bill. This is a required step by the card network associated with your gift card to establish that the registered card owner in our records is the same as the person who is contacting us regarding the charges, and is a fraud protection method implemented for your security as well as the security of the sponsoring bank. 1 starWe were sent 2 gift cards worth a total of $200 as a rebate on a purchase. Every time we tried to activate them there were errors. When we tried to use them they were declined. When I called for help I was caught in automated phone loop and was never able to speak to anyone who could help me. The cards expired before I was ever able to use them. $200 lost!!I was sent another card for $22.54 as a refund. I was able to activate it. When I tried to use it it was declined with no explanation. I just tried to use it again and it says the balance it $0. It shows a payment to the vendor that denied the payment on 2/06/2024.. Again I tried to call someone and was caught in the phone tree without ever being given an option to speak to a person. The vendor that I tried using the card with on 02/06/2024 says that no payment was made or received in that amount. I tried to file a dispute of charges but the automated directions of how to do this just left me frustrated and angry. Which i guess is their goal.
