Last month I ordered a laptop from the HP.com website. I haven't received it yet, so I cannot comment on it's quality or performance. However, I can comment on the pitiful customer service and lack of transparency on HP. Turns out the long wait for delivery is due to the time it takes to ship my laptop from *****. *****!!!! WTF!!!! Why wasn't this disclosed at the time of ordering. Also, I have to sign for the delivery!!!! WTF!!!! Why wasn't this disclosed, as well. I'm trying to decide whether to accept this laptop or simply return it and buy from ****** or Best Buy. What kind of crummy business practice is this? This will be the last HP product I ever buy. Additionally, their on-line assistance is often wrong and very poorly trained.

This company won't delete my debit card information and has been trying to charge my account for the past 2 months after I cancelled. I was subscribed to instant ink for several years and they only replaced my ink cartridges once. I had to go get my own replacements. They should be refunding me at least 1 full year due to them not living you to the agreement. Instead they are trying to STEAL finds from my bank account. Do not ever give them your credit card or debit card information. This company is a scam..

Can I do less than 1 star?Christmas 2022 my parents bought me a brand new HP Envy laptop for grad school. I started during the summer semester, the keyboard suddenly stopped working while doing home work in Aug. I ended up doing the basic power down and when it rebooted the keyboard was working again. This happened three more times with me trying to fix it per the directions on the hp support page. After the 4th time I contacted their technical help, they advised it was a driver issue from the windows update. They remotely logged into my computer and "fixed" the issue. A couple weeks later it happened again, I went through the same step with them "fixing" the driver. Then it happened again. At this point I was fed up with the run around and my warranty was nearing end. They escalated me and I was told by the rep I would have a case manager call me within 2 hours to see what can be done. After waiting 3 hours I called back, I was told to call at 7 am cst time and I would be directly connected to my case manager. Called at 7 am on the dot and was told a case was never filed. I was then told that they would refund money for the lemon product that was purchased. Then the case manager tried to replace the laptop with one that was a 1/3 of the price. **** the case manager finally said I could I pick a laptop and the only parameters were the ***** core had to be the same and the price had to be the same. He then shot down everything I came up with. I got his supervisor (******) on the phone who went back on ****'s word. After spending 6 hours on the phone we finally came to an agreement on a laptop they would send. I was told I would have a tracking number on 11/29/23, that day comes and my case manager says no tracking number and cannot give me a reason why. He then just stopped responding to emails and does not follow the in office times on his email signature. So here we go again back on the phone with them to get some kind of resolution.

Hp might be one of the most anti consumer companies there is. I purchased a printer brand new. I lost the setup cartridges. I then purchased official HP ink cartridges. I could not continue setting up my printer due to the lack of setup cartridges. This is clearly an intentional firmware issue to disincentive people from purchasing an hp printer second hand. This isnt even a right to repair issue. This is a right to own issue. I will be writing to my senators immediately to hopefully get this anti consumer practice gone away with.

Awful! There is no customer service. If you go to the website it's only generic assistance and if that's not what you're looking for then you are completely screwed. If you try emailing them they only respond if you get exactly the right department. They will tell you they will forward the information to the correct department who will respond in a few days... and but don't hold your breath! No one will ever call you back.

I have always bought HP printers. I've never had an issue, until now. I've been receiving threatening emails stating they will stop HP benefits if I don't start using HP ink cartridges. I refuse to pay their inflated prices when I hardly use this printer. I am 62 years old and on a fixed income. I use this printer for a few craft projects. It's a crappy little $99 printer. And yet, HP feels they can bully me into buying their ink. I don't think so. I will throw this printer in the garbage before I pay their prices. I am currently researching another brand of printer. I will NEVER buy HP products again!

Herendous customer service. Agents are rude and terribly incompetent. Each time I call, HP either does nothing or makes things worse. Everyone at HP should be fired.

Beware Be careful talking to customer service. They will not tell you that they will need a remote access and will not read a disclaimer. They will ask you to download an app and will have a remote access to your device without letting you know. Where troubleshooting to set up a computer does not need remote access. And when you report it their escalation team will raise voice and will not answer your question. Then you will receive an email stating that they have fulfilled your expectations in solving the issue which is a total lie.

I Bought a HP printer just to print every now and then. They are charging a monthly fee for ink that i dont use. It got to be something wrong with this. And they should have to refund people's money.
