HP printer advertised free trial free cartridge for 3 month, subscribe and you will received free cartridges for the trial. You can un subscribed at any time before your trial is over and you will not get charged for the cartridge. They sent only 1 *************** after I subscribed. The when I unsubscribed weeks before the trial is over and I tried to print an important lab work right after the trial was over, they are telling I cant used their cartridge because I unsubscribed. For me to print the lab work form, I have to subscribe or buy my own cartridge. HP is misleading with their free 3 months trial for people to buy their printer. Thank you ***************************

** has a program called Instant Ink that they say saves you 50% on the cost of ink. They also say that you can quit the program at any time. After paying in for more than a year, I had paid twice the cost of the ink cartridges that I use based on the cost of ordering the cartridges on the ** website and had never received any ink.So I called their customer service asking for an explanation of how I was saving 50% if I had already paid in double what the cost would be and never received any ink. The only thing that they could do was keep explaining to me how the program works without any explanation of the advertised savings. Her solution was finally to send me cartridges. Then two months later, still not needing to replace the cartridges with the new ones she sent, I realized that I was getting scammed by a huge company under the guise of a cost savings program. So I dropped out of the program only to find out that not only wouldn't the new cartridges work in my printer but the original cartridges that were still in my printer would no longer work. To use my printer I had to either rejoin the program and continue to pay monthly fees on top of what I had already paid or go out and buy or order on the ** website more cartridges that were not part of the Instant Ink program. So basically my replacement cartridges were costing me three times the normal cost.I asked them to trade the unopened new ones that they sent for workable ones so that my replacement would only cost me double but they flat out refused. The customer service was anything but helpful or understanding. Anyone considering using the Instant Ink program should think it over before they get scammed in this same way.

Terrible service!Almost impossible to get on phone. Our printer purchased in January 2023 went wacko, defaulting to 6 coped and 140% magnification, and incurably so. Didn't recognize my correct serial number on website or on phone tree. Had to try various measures to finally get a person, who confirmed that the serial number was correct -- but that the system didn't recognize the serial number! He then confirmed that our printer did not work. He promised me a new printer to be shipped free the following day, February 22, 2024.It is April 6 and no new printer has arrived. When I try ti reach HP, it recognizes neither the serial number nor the order number -- and to make matters worse, they continue to bill me for Instant Ink -- though the printer is not even plugged in. The "chat" did not take a cancellation. I have finally cancelled Instant Ink tonight (I hope).Never again!

In January I sent my laptop to HPs repair facility after it failed to start. HP declined warranty coverage, citing customer-induced damage and said that it would cost $486 to repair the laptop. I declined repair services and HP returned the laptop. Upon its receipt, I discovered that the service center had removed the laptops battery. I contacted HP customer service opening up two different cases. Eventually, the case was kicked up to a Customer Experience Manager, *****, who apologized for the missing battery and my difficulty resolving the problem, and said their service center would repair the laptop, this time for free. I mailed the laptop to HP a second time. Once again, I received a request from HP for $486 to repair the laptop. A few days later, ***** called claiming that she would never have made her original offer, if she had known that the damage was customer induced. (This was clearly stated in my initial case report and confirmed by me in a follow-up email to our first conversation.) She then said that HP would be willing to repair the laptop at a discount. I declined what felt like a bait-and-switch move by HP and asked that my laptop be returned. ***** indicated that the laptop was returned on Tuesday, March 26. This did not happen and on Wednesday, March 27, I opened up a missing package case with *****. On Saturday, March 30, ***** told me that if I still had not received my laptop, that I should contact HP for resolution, which I did. That day, I emailed *****. Five days later I still have not received a response from her. On Monday, I opened up yet another case with HP regarding the missing laptop, but have not heard from them sense.

What do you know, here's another one star review. If I could give zero stars, I would. I purchased the Deskjet All in One printer last year, and within 8 months a mechanical issue occurred within the printer and I had to get a replacement sent through my warranty. I experienced an internet outage this past Saturday, and it was restored by Sunday morning. However, when I attempted to use my printer Sunday evening it would not work and kept flashing an error code. I used the app to do some trouble shooting and reset the printer as recommended several times and to no avail it wouldn't connect to the internet. Mind you, every other device in my house has had zero issues connecting to the internet, I have 4 smart tv's, laptop, phones, ipad and ****** they all connect just fine. I just spent almost 3 hours on the phone with customer service being transferred once for further technical support. We went through several steps and it was not able to connect to the web server though it was saying it was connected to wifi. After all trouble shooting failed, the customer service representative suggested I spend more money and do an upgrade on a new printer. Even though my printer is only 10 months in use, I no longer have the warranty on it because my warranty just carried over from the first printer I bought, so I guess technically I only had a warranty on the new printer for just a few months. Both customer service reps stated that this was a common issue with their printers and they would send my complaint in. This is terrible business practices every way you look at it. They know they are selling faulty products but do nothing to rectify the situation. Not only that but they require you to use an app to use the printer as well and charge subscription fee's. It is a complete scam and it makes zero sense why printer isn't working or how they can admit that they sell a faulty product and do nothing but rip their customers off. Vote for a Class Action Lawsuit

I bought a HP printer to go with my HP desktop. I foolishly enrolled in the HP instant ink program. One this is a waste of money. Never did I use the amount of paper or ink that my subscription allowed. I had a brand new ink cartridge that I received 3 month ago. I cancelled my subscription so now I cannot use the brand new ink that was already paid for with my subscription months ago. This is a true scam on HP to do this. The ink is paid for and you get told sorry but you have to go buy new ink for your printer to work. Needless to say instead of spending $80+ dollars on ink I will just buy a new none HP printer. As soon as my desktop dies it will also be replaced with a none HP product. To bad a company is not willing to stand behind their product and fix the issue.

The printers will literally stop functioning if you use off brand ink. Not because the system wears down - they have a technological way to turn it off and will send you an email saying they are doing so. Throwing my 2 pre-existing printers in the garbage.

If you don't use this for company business you will be screwed, they charge $4.95 a month and you must reach 50 pages printed before they send replacement ink, I never reach that amount as it was used for home use ,the printer cost less than the chares for ink. And to top that if you do cancel the subscription they shut down the printer's ink so that you have to install store purchased ink. The cost of this is out weights the use of the printer. I will be using a new way and buy low cost printers and replace the printer when the ink runs out instead of buy ink.

We bought an HP printer that came with a subscription for their ink. I tried to print something recently and wasn't allowed to because our credit card was expired. We still had ink to use FROM THEM, but weren't allowed to use it because we didn't want to update our card. So, now we can't print anything until we either give them our credit card or buy MORE ink from a retail store. They've lost my business and, by the look of the 1.08 rating on here, I'm guessing I'm not the only one. I just wish that we had a lawsuit against them in the US like they do in ******. I'd be on board.
