I got charged for the whole new year subscription without notifying me, I was not planning to renew my subscription due to a financial situation, with leaving my bank empty, this would be unacceptable, i am asking yo be refunded of the whole amount of $159, please help me with this ! Leetcode charged me a whole year subscription fee($159) without any notification on 12/9/2022. I don't need their service any more, but they charged me without any notification. I purchased a one year subscription from leetcode in Dec. 2021. I was not made aware that my credit card information was saved in their system. Although I haven't used the site since the start of this year, the credit card was charged $159 for another year's subscription without any prior notice nor my consent on Dec 10, 2022. I emailed their customer service and requested a full refund plus removal of the card information, but I saw online the only way for situations like this to be resolved is by going through the BBB. I signed up for LeetCode ******* on November 25 2021 for one year. Then on 11/25/2022, LeetCode billed me for a second year. I immediately cancelled my subscription on the same day and contacted LeetCode to request a refund because I haven't used the service at all since the second charge. I purchase a 1-year subscription on November 29, 2021 and thought that it was only valid for 1 year. However, on November 29, 2022 I was charged $159 for auto-renew but I did not receive any prior notice or any reminders. I never agreed to participate in auto-renew, and it was never made clear to me that the subscription would auto-renew. I thought that I was only purchasing services for a limited amount of time. I cancelled my account the same day I was billed and I requested a refund from Leetcode but I have not heard back from the company yet. Hello, my name is **** and I subscribed LeetCode last year for a special rate during Black Friday. This year I was automatically renewed by them without asking for my permission or any forms or advanced informing before they do this. What is even worse is that during the time they auto-renewed my service, they had an on-going Black Friday SALE for $129 per year, but they still charged me with the full price of $159. The invoice ID is #xarxwvp2, and they refused to provide a full refund even under the circumstance that I am not acknowledged. In this case, I think this is not reasonable and I request for a full refund. I do think their renew activity without asking permission is an offense to my right as a consumer. Please note: LeetCode's Cancellation and Refund Policy, described in our Terms of Service (***************************************), and agreed to at time of purchase:
* You may cancel your current Premium subscription at any time from your Manage Subscription page, as described in this Support Article.
* An active subscription must be canceled PRIOR to the subscription renewal date to avoid the next billing.
* After cancellation, your current subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period and you will continue to have access to your subscription for the remainder of the current billing period (unless your access is suspended or terminated, as permitted). No further billing occurs once the current billing period ends.
* All subscription fees paid are non-refundable. LeetCode does not offer prorated fees paid for a subscription terminated prior to the end of the current billing period.
That said... we certainly understand people can fail to cancel their subscriptions as intended. To help with this situation. I can authorize a one-time exception, by refunding your full Annual Subscription amount ($159).
I've gone ahead and processed this $159 refund amount... typically this completes within 3 days, but please allow up to 7 business days for this refund to reflect on your CC or bank statement.
In addition, I've cancelled your unwanted annual premium subscription renewal, also removing your Premium access. You will no longer be charged for the Premium subscription unless you choose to resubscribe again in the future. At this time, your LeetCode account continues to benefit as a non-Premium user.
