Hello, my name is **** and I subscribed LeetCode last year for a special rate during Black Friday. This year I was automatically renewed by them without asking for my permission or any forms or advanced informing before they do this. What is even worse is that during the time they auto-renewed my service, they had an on-going Black Friday SALE for $129 per year, but they still charged me with the full price of $159. The invoice ID is #xarxwvp2, and they refused to provide a full refund even under the circumstance that I am not acknowledged. In this case, I think this is not reasonable and I request for a full refund. I do think their renew activity without asking permission is an offense to my right as a consumer. Please note: LeetCode's Cancellation and Refund Policy, described in our Terms of Service (***************************************), and agreed to at time of purchase:
* You may cancel your current Premium subscription at any time from your Manage Subscription page, as described in this Support Article.
* An active subscription must be canceled PRIOR to the subscription renewal date to avoid the next billing.
* After cancellation, your current subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period and you will continue to have access to your subscription for the remainder of the current billing period (unless your access is suspended or terminated, as permitted). No further billing occurs once the current billing period ends.
* All subscription fees paid are non-refundable. LeetCode does not offer prorated fees paid for a subscription terminated prior to the end of the current billing period.
That said... we certainly understand people can fail to cancel their subscriptions as intended. To help with this situation. I can authorize a one-time exception, by refunding your full Annual Subscription amount ($159).
I've gone ahead and processed this $159 refund amount... typically this completes within 3 days, but please allow up to 7 business days for this refund to reflect on your CC or bank statement.
In addition, I've cancelled your unwanted annual premium subscription renewal, also removing your Premium access. You will no longer be charged for the Premium subscription unless you choose to resubscribe again in the future. At this time, your LeetCode account continues to benefit as a non-Premium user.

Leetcode charged me a whole year subscription fee($159) without any notification on 11/29/2022. I don't need their service any more, but they charged me without any notification. They have a strict no-refund policy which doesn't allow any refund.Business Response

LeetCode billed me for $159 USD, without any notice of an upcoming renewal. I've not used this service for months, and don't have any plans to either. I was not aware of how predatory their subscription services are, but a simple google search will show how disgusting it really is. I bought leetcode membership last year (11/26/2021) with Black Friday deal (129USD). This year, they offer the same deal and auto renewal my subscription with original price on 11/26/2022 (159 USD). They don't have any reminder before processing the billing and I am not even want to have this membership for this year any more (already have a job). As a company targeting to help people landing IT jobs, they can do their subscription renewal work flow much clearer but they are not. They are trying to let the customer paying the subscription by mistake. I am trying to send the email, request to cancel the policy and not getting feedback yet. I feel this is a very rude behaviour and I don't want their service anymore. I just want to have the refund.Business Response

I was charged $159 on 11/27/22 for a subscription that I do not intend to use for another year. They should really notify you ahead of time, while there is nothing notification before they charge me.

I signed up for LeetCode Premium on November 23 2021, with the intent to use it for one year. On November 23 2022, LeetCode billed me for a second year. That same day, I cancelled my subscription and contacted LeetCode to request a refund for the second year. LeetCode refused to issue a refund. It looks to be happening to everyone here and I hope they can correct the way how they auto renew people's subscription and not waste people's time writing up this complain. Everyone is busy and they should not run business in this way.
For me, I subscribed the yearly plan last year using the black Friday discount price but they just renewed the subscription automatically without any notice, while I don't intend to renew the subscription. What's worse is that they charged me with the full price even though I did the subscription with the discounted price last year.Business Response

I signed up for LeetCode Premium on November 22 2021 for one year. Then on 11/22/2022, LeetCode billed me for a second year. I immediately cancelled my subscription on the same day and contacted LeetCode to request a refund because I haven't used the service at all since the second charge. However LeetCode ignores my request.
