    Please be aware before signing up for LeetCode premium. They hide in their Terms and Conditions that you will be auto-enrolled for renewals. I purchased an annual membership last year, with the intent of only needing it for 6-9 months. I had no idea I was enrolled in auto-renewals, and they intentionally use UX dark patterns to hide where the management of auto-renewals are located.They also, unlike other companies, do NOT send out any emails alerting you that a renewal charge is about to take place. You have no way of knowing you are already enrolled in auto-renewals, and you have no way of knowing you are about to be charged.Once you are charged, there is nothing you can do. I reached out to LeetCode within 24 hours of a $159 charge being processed (on Thanksgiving), and they refuse to refund **** did not want this purchase, I did not know this purchase was going to take place, and they refuse to do anything about it.This is the definition of Deceptive Business Practices. All of this is designed to mislead the user so that they can auto charge them without their knowledge. LeetCode is an incredibly deceptive and unethical company!

    I bought an annual subscription on 11/27/23. A year-long subscription implies that the membership ends following the end of 11/27/24. They automatically renewed the subscription at 1am PT on 11/27/24, which did not allow the entire year before opting in or out of renewal. I pointed this out to them and they've not responded. BBB, please make this right. Invoice number: 572E6023-0003, Receipt number: *********.

    Took a week and a half to respond to a request to cancel my account, only to refuse to do it on their end. They provided instructions to find the cancellation in their interface; it was so well hidden that it was nearly unfindable without the instructions.

    Hi BBB, (Similar to others) I subscribed to LeetCode premium last year; but I haven't used LeetCode for more than half a year and without any prior notice, my credit card was charged $159 for the automatic renewal. I tried to file a case with LeetCode about this issue but never got a reply. I would like a refund in full on this automatic renewal and cancel my subscription. I hope that BBB could help me with this.

    Completely unethical renewal practice. Same as every other review here, I havent even logged in to my account in 11 months - and I only find out that Im being billed $159 because the charge showed up on my credit card. Policy or no policy, there is zero reason they couldnt send out a notice a week before renewal reminding you that you have an account you havent used in a year, and its about to be charged again. Every other auto renewal I have ever signed up for is courteous enough to do that.

    Hello BBB, I have also subscribed to LeetCode premium last year when they were on sale for thanksgiving discount. I have not used LeetCode for more than half year, and I was wrongly charged with $159 annual subscription fee without prior notice, due to the automatic renewal. I would like to get a full refund on this. I hope to get BBB's help on this matter. Thank you.

    Thanks for contacting in! Checking further it appears we have a support email confirming we refunded and cancelled the unwanted subscription on June 30th.

    Below is the email:

    Thanks for contacting LeetCode Support Team.

    According to our Cancellation and Refund Policy displayed during the checkout process and on Terms of Service (https://leetcode.com/terms/), the account owner must cancel a subscription before its renewal date to avoid the next billing. And there is no refund for the subscription cancellation.

    However, as a one-time exception for our loyal customer, I've refunded the full $159.00 back to your original account. The refund might take from 5 to 10 business days to reflect on your bank account.

    In order to provide this refund for you, I have canceled the unwanted annual subscription in your account, which ends your account's premium service immediately, and your account will not be charged again until you re-subscribe to a new premium subscription.
