      My sister-in-laws Facebook and Instagram got hacked. The automated help from each website does not work due to the hacker changing the passwords, emails, and phone numbers on the account. Meta has 0 customer support for this issue. My sister-in-law googled a phone number for Facebook support because of it and found what she thought was their phone number, but ended up getting scammed out of $100 from this phone call. Long story short, this would never have happened if Meta had a real customer support. Peoples accounts are getting hacked and people are getting scammed every day due to this issue. The hacker is asking for money from her friends list, using her account.

      As of January 1st 2023, the meta company is now trying to spy on me and a bunch of other people through their Oculus headset making it where we cannot play it unless we connect to their spyware. If you do not do something about this, I will file a class action lawsuit against them and you for the inability to act upon this. I believe in my rights and my rights are being violated by this because now I have hundreds of dollars of games that I rightfully bought the license to play that I can't play.

      In May, my Facebook account was taken over by a hacker. My account has access to personal contacts, access to my childrens online chat, financial information, and other personal information. This account has access to other financial accounts within Meta. *** tried all the recourses that the company has in order to regain my access; however, none of them work. Ive emailed the company several times through various emails that they have and I have not received a response. Ive tagged my account as being hacked and it is still up and functioning, potentially defrauding people in my contacts by acting as me. *** asked **** on several occasions to close my account to stop the criminal activity that is occurring on my account.

      My facebook account was hacked and subsequently disabled by Meta in the afternoon of July 13th 2023, and I have not been able to get it back.I tried requesting review on the Facebook website, and despite uploading my ********** driver's license, my request to restore my account has been refused. I am still not able to log into my account.       I was alerted a few days ago that my old deactivated Facebook account has been posting reels and is being used a complete stranger. This account was deactivated 10 years ago. This person is impersonating me using my profile, image, and my old photos. The email address associated to this old account has also been changed to a Hotmail acct. I cannot claim it back. The name on the account is Kuls Mangilit. That is my nickname and my maiden last name. The old email address I used to make this account is also no longer active. I have reached out to Facebook numerous times about this, even attaching my CA driver's license to confirm my identity but they emailed me back saying the account did not violate any guidelines. I am afraid that my account will be used to dupe and scam people. Please help me get this resolved. Thank you.****************************************************************

      My husband and I have been selling homemade ski chairs and ski benches for 10+ years and have sold these through Marketplace on Facebook. I decided to try the Boost option through Meta for the last year and never had a problem ********. My ad keeps getting rejected, and there are no policies that have been broken and the ad complies with everything in their policy booklet. The issue started in May and my Boost was being rejected by the Autobots and then when complained was reviewed by "human review committee" and was reversed twice stating that the ad was compliant with all their rules of posting the items you are selling. Every time I would try to Boost the autobot system would deny. I have spent hours and hours of trying to contact someone from Meta to talk to me about my situation and all I get are pages and pages of emails that are generic messages that are sent to customers that have had rejected ads. I have tried to talk to people and they said that the review committee won't tell you what is wrong with the ad. How will I know what is wrong with this information if I cannot have a discussion with someone knowledgeable about my case. It is truly insane how this company is handling transactions and our ad violates no rules in their policy book. This company is so inconsistent and should be accountable how it is running its business. Something is very wrong on their side and nobody is out to help me with this situation. **** should be investigated because what they have done to my ad and the lack of advice is pathetic. It appears that this is how they treat all consumers as posted by other people. Why are they not willing to suggest what the problem is....that is perplexing to me. I have been told to redo the ad...but no help in explaining what to change, so I have tried to change it two to three times by advice from a supervisor, which I think is a joke to be given that title when they are not helpful at all. Frustrated and angry and am sick of this business. I have tried to talk to them about this latest rejection and they will not offer any assistance or explanation of why it is being rejected other than look at the policies and when I review the list nothing is being violated. It has definitely stressed me out in the last two months. A real bogus company. Scale of 1-10...definitely a 0!

      My name is *********************** and my Facebook account was hacked/compromised on July 3, 2023. Despite numerous efforts, I have been unable to resolve this issue and have received no response from anyone at Facebook/Meta.As best as I am able to determine, my email hosted by *** ***munications was compromised, which allowed an unknown suspect to change my email address and my cell phone number within my Facebook/Meta profile. Once they compromised my account and changed my contact information, I was unable to reverse these changes, and I was unable to regain control of my Facebook/Meta account. Once they compromised my Facebook/Meta account and my email address account ***************** the suspect then sent me a threatening demand email for $400 in USD valuation in bitcoin.I have not responded to the demand email, nor do I intend to respond, since I know it is a farce and threats mentioned are untrue. However, I am concerned that my Facebook account continues to be in the hands of an individual with bad intent and with an exposure to all on my innocent family and friend profiles, content and postings via my compromised profile.Additionally, I have numerous family and friendship pictures and memories, including those of my dad (age 80) and grandmother (101), both of which passed away in 2021.I would greatly appreciate any assistance that your office can offer to resolve this concern and allow me to regain full control/access of my Facebook and Facebook Messenger accounts.I have already created a new email address with Gmail to be used, which is far more secure and employed multi factor authentication. This new email address will be used with my Facebook/Meta relationship.I am very hopeful that you can engage with Facebook/Meta and ask them to contact me for resolution. I am also hopeful that Facebook/Meta will update their self-help options to be more useful for such incidents and allow those who have been victimized with more ability to resolve compromised accounts/profiles.I have taken screenshots of what the self-help options look like and profess to do, but they do not work for a fully compromised account/profile situation. Also, of equal concern, is that they state that if your email was changed by someone other than you, that you can reverse this via the email that is system generated when the email was changed. This is not accurate and I have screenshots of that as well.I have worked at a local financial institution in ******* for 31 years and have overseen all aspects of financial and identity fraud, physical security and decedent accounts. I am very familiar with security protocols, MFA optioning, and self-help options once an identity or relationship is compromised. This is not my experience with Facebook/Meta thus far and I am hopeful that will change.There are no abilities to contact them directly via phone and the emails I have sent to *************************************** have gone unanswered. I have also asked family members to message Facebook/Meta with their active accounts and those have gone unanswered as well.I would like to resolve this directly with Facebook/Meta and am willing to provide whatever is needed, as well as a new, secure email address with MFA security and new password.I love Facebook/Meta and the relationship weve shared; I just want to resolve this and get back to social enjoyment with family and friends.Thank you for your time and consideration, it is much appreciated!*********************** ********, ******* ***** ************** ************** (compromised email)*********************** (new email)
