      My Facebook account was hacked. Ive sent 5 emails tried calling and no response. I have sent them my ID to verify my identity. The person that hacked my account changed email and phone and who knows what else. They are also trying to scam people on my friends list out of money. They even have full control of my Facebook messenger. Their website has no way to get back your account if the hacker changes everything. Im just wanting help to get my account back especially with all my pictures and memories with kids and husband are gone.

      I sent money through Facebook for a service rendered. The recipient's account was hacked. The money did not reach the account but was intercepted. She had to close the account. My payment is in limbo. I reached out to Metapay through messenger because that is the only way to reach them. When you call the number they tell you they will not answer the phone and to go to a website which tells you how to contact them through Facebook. I have sent several messages and got one back which said the recipient needed to send the payment back which she cannot do since the payment doesn't show up. So it is a complete mess and they no longer respond to messages. As an institution that handles payment, I do not know why they are not required to answer phone calls and speak with customers that trust them with transactions. Any help to resolve this would be greatly appreciated. The transaction was for 125. The payment was sent from my account attached to the email *********************** User name ***********************. The reciepent was ***********************. The transaction was made on Monday, Aug 7th. We have both contacted our banks. Very disappointed in the lack of customer service or concern that payment was not secure.

      On August 7, 2023 I filed a *** offender report on a known *** offender. He is a registered *** offender and Facebook responded saying they couldnt verify the information. This is absolutely absurd. Face and Instagram both seem to care more about protecting *** offenders, than protecting the public from *** offenders. I have included in this complaint a picture from the *** offender website, with the persons picture, his first and last name and *** offender Id, which ******************** can look up. I have also included screenshots from the *** offenders Instagram and Facebook account.

      Facebook claims copyright infringement has disabled account after being hacked. Facebook software wont accept idea or a repeal or any form of communication. There is no support - chat, text, so forth to contact Facebook. This has occurred to several users recently. Losing years of content and correspondence from individuals who are no longer living. I would like help getting in contact with Facebook and attempting to regain access to the account lost. Thank you

      My account was recently used by a scammer who listed a house for rent. I have since lost access to my Facebook marketplace account which has been a big issue for me. There is No one to talk to and nobody is reading my complaint. I have stuff to sell!

      HACKED ! NO REAPONSE FROM FB OR META!Im hoping you can help me, as Ive tried everything else to no avail. No response from meta or fb. and numerous emails to ************************************ ********************************* and ********************************** I was hacked~ the hacker changed my email, password and phone number that was connected to my account ***************************** and I have absolutely no way to get back in. I created a new account just to access my old account and whenever i try and get a reset code to my email - its an email that is not mine- its so frustrating! Now today I woke up and the new account locked me out as well!!! *********************** ~ I Would greatly appreciate any help?! Please, I am so saddened to lose my years and years of memories and photos.       I have tried to make contact with Facebook regarding info on their privacy policy. Please provide me with the following. So to clarify and make sure we are on the same page, 1. The only photos that Facebook can obtain and data from (image, meta data, location) are the photos that I upload to Facebook manually to post. 2. The photos left within my device gallery that I do not post to Facebook are untouched, not scanned, nor accessed in any way. 3. Are all photos that Facebook has accessed at all located within my downloadable data from your site? I want to make sure my photos are not compromised.Facebook/meta has so far not answered my questions

      At 3AM on 8/9/23, I received an email saying that an unknown device logged into my facebook account. When I woke up, I tried to login to my account and it said that it was disabled. I tried to follow the helpdesk instructions and even email ***************************** to try and resolve my account being banned/disabled/hacked. I was met with no real direction to a solution or ANY proper customer service. I would like someone to contact me and explain to me 1) WHY my account has been taken over and 2) WHAT can be done to resolve these measures.

      My Facebook account was hacked. The hacker changed my email and phone number. I have tried every avenue to contact Facebook to gain access back to my account, and all I keep getting back (from privacy email) is a link for "hacked" which does not work because they changed my email and it sends a code to the email to change the password. They've used my business page to run a $250 ad and I cannot even contact business support because you have to be logged into to your account to do so. There's no phone number to contact, the email I found I am not getting any response. I have found no solution to regain control of my account or get a refund for this fraudulent charge. I don't even understand how this happened when I had two step verification on my account... never got a notification on my phone. The email that was sent saying "if this wasn't you please click this link" or whatever, once I click on it it says error no longer valid... that was 3 hours after they changed my email. They did this is 5 in the morning while I was asleep. There has to be a solution for this. These people are using my business page and sending messages to people to purchase face products or some c*** I have pictures I cannot recover in my personal page. I'm sorry but I didn't know what else to do other than file a complaint.

      On 7/25/23, my Facebook account was hacked. The hacker changed my password, email, and phone number associated with my account to their own. I have had this account since 2007 and it has all of my private information such as my address and driver's license, including my contacts which the hacker has successfully scammed 1 family member of my deceased step-father out of money. The hacker is using my name, picture and driver's license which was attached to my ******************** Messenger to verify the account is his which is identity theft. Facebook, now known as Meta, states in their privacy and guidelines that they take user security seriously and give information about hackers and how to recover a hacked account. However, **********************'s complete lack of support on this issue is quite frankly, very upsetting. Their recovery process leads to dead ends each time I try to follow the Facebook *********** Solutions available. Facebook offers no means of reaching out to them other than through forms that quickly lead to dead ends. Facebook does not have a customer support team via live chat or by phone. The Facebook system relies exclusively on automated messages with no real connection with a real representative or person that works for Meta. Not only is my account compromised, but now my family's safety is at risk as the hacker knows my address including my friends and family's names and locations. I have emailed Facebook through every email I've found with no replies. I have filed reports with these Attorney General offices: **********, *******, *************, ************, and ********. I filed reports with the FBI Cyber Crimes Unit at IC3.GOV and the *** at IdentityTheft.gov including a CAD CALL REPORT with the West ********************** Lastly, I mailed a certified letter with all of my documentation to verify my identity to ******************* on 8/1/23. The certified letter still hasn't been signed for but it shows the certified letter reached its destination on 8/3/23.
