Sold three items on Facebook(META) Marketplace. Buyers have all received their items and I have not received my payouts for all three sales. Contacted Facebook a few times for support and an automated bot replies each time with no resolution. I checked my **** of America account and no deposits have been made for all three payouts. Payout amounts are $56.05, $42.29, $4.42. These buyers all have my items for free at this point. I have attached proof of my orders along with the amounts of each payout owed to me.Initial Complaint

On 6/16/23, I listed an item for sale on Facebook Marketplace and arranged so that I could be issued a printable postage label if shipping to the buyer was necessary. 0n 7/3 I accepted the offer from the buyer and printed the shipping label which was attached to the package and shipped on 7/5 and received delivery confirmation on 7/8.Contacted customer to verify acceptance of product and was assured 5 star rating. Waiting the designated 48hrs after, my payout date for the sell changed to 7/10. Two days after that date passed, I contacted FB marketplace through the self help menu and promptly received an emailed response that my issue was being researched and would be informed of resolution when identified. Starting with the contact on 7/12, I have since reach out again on 7/13, 7/15, 7/18 and again on 8/08 in an attempt to get some type of information on where my money for the sale is being held. As of now, I have not received any response from any of these contact attempts and I cannot open another query on the issue as I am prompted with a message that my initial issue was received and that I shouldn't have a response within 48hrs. There are not any additional contact methods listed for support. I even tried contacting Meta Pay about the issue and was prompted to contact the Marketplace support page via the method I have described already. I sold this item because I needed the money. After complying with Marketplace's fees and rules, neither I nor the buyer can get an answer as to where my payment is held.Initial Complaint

My account was hacked, regardless of utilizing Facebook's 2 factor authentication with my phone number, as prompted through the platform, to ensure my account and data were secure. The account was attached to my business account, which I can now no longer access. It also contained my personal intellectual property, artwork from my graphic design business, which is no longer being represented under my name and was taken down without my permission. The incident happened on August 3rd in the afternoon. I have made multiple attempts, over 20, to contact support at Facebook and Meta, through email, phone, reporting the hack on the account, having friends report the account and through their hacked support and identification verification page. I've received no follow up or response to the incident. I use my accounts for clients to contact me so I am losing income due to this incident. All it would take is someone to view a backup from before this incident to see over 12 years of consistent use by the same individual (myself) and then see the abrupt interruption and deactivation. All I'm asking for is my account to be reinstated to before the incident and a password reset sent to my email. I have been unable to get into the account due to the hacker changing all the original information in the account, including my 2 factor authentication phone number. This happened mere weeks after I set up the phone 2FA, leading me to believe this was poor data security and protection on behalf of Meta/Facebooks platforms. I work in web development so I don't take unnecessary risks by clicking links I shouldn't and believe this was completely at the fault of poor security measures on the companies behalf.Initial Complaint

I am a real estate agent and mother and my business Facebook account and Instagram was hacked. I would like to file a complaint against ******************* due to losing over 2 decades of real estate contacts that were on my social media accounts. As a practicing real estate agent, you are an independent contractor and connections you make are essential to business. When I woke up to my 2 business accounts and my personal account being disabled and various credit card charges, I tried reaching out to Facebook support as their support covers Instagram also since they are under ******************* None of my accounts were accessible and I was asked every day to send in pictures of myself standing 3 ways, to change passwords, to send in my drivers licensce for verification, and also send in my own personal marriage licensce to get my account back. Nothing ever happened and all that changed was my account being flagged for Child ***********. This is absolutley heinous and this all happened while I was at home sick with COVID. Although one business account is still up, I cannot access it and it looks like I am simply out of business which is entirely false. I have no idea what other information was stolen from me aside from my credit card information and maybe even my drivers license and marriage certificate- because it obviously was not received by ******************* I was told I could download my data- it is not possible- all of my photos are gone. My credit card was compromised, my security was invaded, and my personal business account now says not available anymore due to child *********** charges. This is a complete infirgmenent on my right and business and ******************* should release an apology and give me my accounts back with years of business connections and growth that I have worked for. Thank you so much.Sincerely, ********************* **** Estate Agent and Mother Los Angeles ************** ***********************Initial Complaint

I used Facebook Marketplace to purchase an item from a seller on Jul 19, 2023. The provided tracking number showed as delivered, however the item was not delivered to my home. The tracking number showed delivery in my town, but the proof of delivery picture was not my home, or any homes near mine. When attempting to open a lost package case with ****** it is a requirement to enter your address to verify what is linked to the tracking number. When entering my address, ***** shows it is not the address attached to the tracking number. This aligns with shipper scams commonly known where a scammer sends a package that is not the actual item to an address that is not the buyers, so the address shows as delivered in the same town.I have tried to open a claim with Facebook several times, however the claim form does not work (on a web browser or via the mobile app), and I am getting automated responses that my cases are being closed because they are being duplicated.I feel that Facebook/Meta is doing this by design to avoid actually looking into the case, hoping that the eligibility timeline to open a case will lapse.Initial Complaint

I placed an order on July 29th and it's lost in the mail. I cannot follow up with the seller because today my chat was disabled. I was not given a reason in the support inbox. I haven't written anyone anything against standards so this is not okay. There should be another way to handle these problems other than the chat because now I can't resolve my missing package. I keep trying to have open a claim but the timeframe keeps getting longer and its telling me to wait for 3 days to hear back from seller. But I did hear back and he is clueless. So now what? I am supposed to just let this happen and lose money? Excuse you fake Facebook aka META rip off Suite. I stopped selling on your site and now I won't ever buy and I will be letting many others know of this. GIVE ME MY MONEY and stop acting like you are the cops. Its just social media. Get a grip. And don't combine the social and business together. You are not doing right. I am contacting my bank and reporting this to get my money back. What an awful company you've recently become. This is the fourth time I have a variety of restrictions in the last month for ZERO reason!!!!!!!!!
