I had my account hacked and there is NO way I can even get in touch with anyone to dispute it. The hacker changed all the information on my account then did something to get it permanently disabled. I have multiple security blocks that this should not have happened!!!! Years of my life is gone!!!! My childrens videos and pictures of them as babies!!!! My wedding photos and my friends *** made over the years that cant be given back. Im so frustrated and angry. There has to be a way someone can fix this!!! I received a notice that my Facebook email changed and to follow a link to resolve if it wasnt me. When I clicked the link, it took me to my Facebook login and after logging in I received a notice that my Facebook account was disabled due to copyright infringement. I did not commit copyright infringement nor did I change my email. I followed the link to the appeal. However, once I entered the information, it said it was irrevocable.I also tried following. The link to my account has been hacked, but because my account is disabled, theres no further recourse. They are either.It has also come to my attention, that any friends that I have messaged can now see that my account was disabled due to do copyright infringement. This is clear defamation of character. My business associates also see this information. I am an upstanding citizen with no criminal history. I have business FB pages and was just about to launch a big ad campaign and now I cant even set up a new account. Everything is lost!! I have attached documents showing the original email from Facebook security that my email was changed, the login banner that my account was disabled and that I had **************************************** the appeals page denying my ability to appeal. I have also included the transcript from the logs showing that my email was changed by the hacker and the time it happened, then the subsequent termination of my page without warning or notice. I also have included screenshots by my travel nurse company and one of the physicians I work with showing that they clearly are seeing that my account was disabled due to copyright infringement which is clear defamation of character as I was clearly hacked and did not commit this infraction.Initial Complaint

On August 23 2023 at 8:17 am EST time, on facebook marketplace I tried posting something on marketplace that did not go against their rules. It was a outdoor sporting equipment, I did not say what it was just the title and description said outdoor sporting equipment. They decided to remove my access to marketplace for no reason. No warning. This happened to me 10 times. This is ridiculous. They allow other people aka scammers to post videos of ******, sexual exploitation, people having sexual intercourses with animals. But they won't let me post outdoor sporting equipment on marketplace. It wasn't even nothing bad I was trying to post. I feel like facebook has my name flagged for no reason, and I would like to get my marketplace access back.Initial Complaint

Account Hacked and not able to recover.On 8/12/2023 my facebook and instagram accounts were hacked and taken over. they removed my email and phone numbers so i can not recover it. the email and phone previously associated with this account was ******************** and ************. I believe the profile is www.facebook.com/mark.********. I was alerted to this when i received emails saying that the contact information had been changed and there were logins in ******* (i live in OK and was in ***** at the time). However, when i clicked on the links they were expired or did not resolve the issue.The fraudsters are using my account to commit a series of frauds/scams against my friends. Some might have fallen for them. I have screenshots of some of the scams if you need them. They are making posts to get people to private message them (thinking it's me) and then talking to them on messenger. things like "send me $150 i send you $2400", "load $ onto your cash App and await further instructions". I have emailed client support and support @fb.com but have not received a response. In addition to the fraud that is being allowed to happen against my friends and family, i am being slammed with text messages and phone calls from people every time the hackers post. This is allowing harassment to happen against me. I am also locked out of my picutres, ability to communicate with some people, and groups i am an admin on. I have been a facebook customer since ****. I simply need help recovering my account and prevent the hackers from scamming people i care about. I am currently not looking for any compensation at this time. However, if this continues i will explore legal actions. Please help stop this fraud and harassment. I am clearly not in *******, where the account is being used. I can provide copies of IDs if needed. My Facebook Account was taken over tonight. I tried everything to get it back but the hacker changed my email address and phone #. The email I received alerting me of the email change had an expired link. It asked if it was me that changed the password but when I said it wasnt me the link did not work. I have gone down every path that I can online to try to get the account back myself. It is not possible with out the help of Meta/Facebook. The hacker has changed my phone # and email address so I cannot recover it myself. ********************* phone # is ********** All of the links that Facebook provide for help with this issue are DEAD ENDS. I have no way to contact them or to get help from them. My account and my privacy has been invaded. I have had this account for at many many years. I dont know when I started it but it must be at least ***** because my oldest son is 18 years old and I have prek pictures of him on my account. ******************** has to be accountable for helping people get their accounts back. It has a lot of personal information and facebook connects to many other sites. Please connect me into the right person to help me with this issue. How can you have an account for this many years - help facebook make money by being a user but not be supported in any way when your account is compromised. the account took 20 years to build into what it is and is connected to many sensitive other accounts. I need META to help me with this issue.Facebook has an obligation to help account members. I also have an instagram account. It has the same profile picture phon # and email address associated as proof of my identitiy if needed. I own the trademark to ******. It is my last name and I have requested to use it on Facebook and Instagram multiple times. My email and my facebook account passwords changed on me in an apparent hack. I have the phone number and cant get into my account anyway. Their is no customer support phone number and when i go to the options about hacking it redirects me to my email password without any identification process or giving me a new code with my phone number. When this happened to me with a company like uber they helped verify and change it over the phone in an emergency situation. facebook just lost in court over privacy issues yet you still cant remove hacked accounts its really not good for the user. On August 19, 2023, at approximately 2pm, my Facebook profile was hacked and stolen when my e-mail address was compromised through malware/phishing. Once the hacker logged into my Facebook account, they changed my account's password, email address, authentication and security settings; and subsequently I'm no longer able to go through any verification process to regain access to my page.I have gone through all of the methods for account recovery offered by Facebook; which according to the platform's automated system, were not enough for the company to return my account. ******************** offers no contact support ability through phone number, emails or chat applications - and relies exclusively on forms that quickly lead to dead ends. I am unable to provide a link to the Facebook profile that was compromised as I have no way to access my account, I have been completely deleted and the profile now belongs to an entity named ***************** and a new, Hotmail address. The name associated with the account when it belonged to me was ************************************************** with the e-mail [email protected] am very concerned because a hacker is in control of not only my account but also a separate page that I maintain for my church. They have access to my friends list and contacts, have the ability to post as and impersonate me and potentially even spread additional malware or illicit material to others. This has become a huge violation of my privacy; as well as what I would consider identity theft. Facebook's complete lack of support on this issue is upsetting. Facebook offers no means of reaching out to them other than through forms that don't work because the hacker changed my account's email address and security settings. The resolution I am seeking is to have my account recovered and returned to me. I can provide the old email address associated with my hacked Facebook account (before it was changed by the hacker), as well as OLD passwords to the account prior to the hacker changing it.Initial Complaint

My great aunt is the victom of an elderly romance scam following the passing of her late husband and she's been exploited out of... who knows how much money at this point. The accounts exploiting her are obviously fraudulent, however the current reporting tools in Facebook are saying that the accounts meet their guidelines. There is no customer support to help with this. I understand that Facebook is a platform and the individuals on it are responsible for themselves, however when there is mass fraud taking place on your platform and there aren't mechanisms in place to prompt investigation, that seems like being an accomplice to the elderly fraud itself. I've already contacted the National Elder Fraud Hotline through the ****** of ******* of Crimes, however I wanted to file an investigation with the BBB as well as this runs rampant on the platform and there doesn't seem to be a way to counter it as a user.
