      On the morning of September 5th someone hacked my Facebook account. Someone from ***** changed my name and primary email. My name is in Arabic but is now listed as ***** ***********************. I did not list my phone number with Facebook, as they couldn't be trusted following Cambridge Analytica scandal. I followed the steps recommended to recover my profile, however no resolution has come of it. Even the recommended steps on how to recover sent me into a perpetual circle of providing my information without any resolution. Facebook has no customer service, which is staggering given the size of the company and that they have been able to profit from my profile since ****. I've even resorted to reaching out to Meta employees on LinkedIn and X with no luck at all. I just want the pictures of my family and deceased loves ones back under my control. That is certainly not too much to ask.

      Like many others have complained on here, my account was recently hacked and I have not been able to contact anybody at Facebook to help get it restored. It got hacked mid-august. The hackers added their email address and then changed the password. I went through Facebook's channels and filled out their form for when you've gotten hacked. But then I was told my account was disabled. I went to another page to try to dispute it, and I uploaded my ID but they said that it was permanently disabled due to community guidelines. I actually was able to get in a few days later but the minute I signed in even though I removed the hacker's email address and changed my password, somehow the hackers got back in and then my account was disabled again. That was on August 18th. My account has been disabled for the past month. I haven't gotten any updates. I have emailed. I've sent messages on social media. There's no way for me to dispute this disabled account. And it's about to be permanently deleted soon. I'm losing years of memories and all of my connections.

      I am locked out of the Facebook account for our non-profit. I am the one who maintains the account. I got a new phone and a new computer around the same time and I am no longer able to use the authenticator app. It generates new numbers, but the numbers do not work with Facebook (screenshot attached). When I click 'Click Need another way to authenticate?' it doesn't give me more options. It just says to go through another device, but I am not logged into any other device so that is not a valid option. On the Facebook troubleshooting link - **************************************************************************** says 'Click Other Options, then click Get more help' but that option does not appear for me (see screenshot attached).As you can see, the instructions don't apply.I would try a new authenticator app, but I cannot access a QR code or scan key to set it up. I have been trying and trying and have consulted a few tech people, but all to no avail. Your help would be so greatly appreciated.

      October 2022 my Facebook account was hacked. The hackers have been using my account to steal money from others online by taking online "payments" towards goods advertised through my account. **** refuses to close this account despite many reports that someone is using the account and pretending to be me. I have filed a police report.

      Hi,My Facebook account got hacked, and the hacker has changed the email and password, and have removed the current city. I have not only lost my memories but also the hacker is using my ID to post things on the account. I have reached out to FB but have had no luck, seems like it was way easier for the hacker to hack then for the owner to recover, this is extremely unprofessional and shocking to expect it from a TECH GIANT. Please help, I may have some comments and likes from my father that I want to be able to read/cherish as those are his only few memories left when he passed away suddenly last year.

      Attempted to reset password, noticed user name was not mine, tried to delete account but was only able to reset account. I called ******************** **************** and was told by the customer service to down an app called quick support so that he can repair the issue and check my bank account to ensure it was not affected. We got disconnected and I called back and was told to download Anydesk. I opened my bank account for the representative (*************************). Dictated by BBB employee A.S

      My Facebook Account has been hacked and someone is using the account and scammed some of my friends out of money. I tried to reach Facebook and they do not have a customer service line of chat line to reach them on.

      Hello Facebook team. My name is ***********************(@mr.sr2) I am a social media fitness influencer from ******. My Instagram account have 28k followers before it was suspended.At the beginning, my facebook account was hacked 24 july, and I got it back with verification process.Then after a couple of hours the hacker reported my account for false accusations, and then I was suspended again. I appealed my suspension and got no response back. The hacker was from ******* and I have his email address and name. All information I have, will be send with this mail.       As you can see in my attached emails, I've requested a complete deletion of my FaceBook account. This morning I got an email from FaceBook with a code to recover my account!!!!!!! What????? It's probably the hacker. What is wrong with FaceBook? Someone has completely wrecked this ******** have tried before by "pausing" so I could download my photos, etc. and the email I got said they would contact me when the download was ready. NEVER GOT IT!!! So I decided just to close the account to avoid being hacked again.DELETE that damned account because I believe that someone who monitors our accounts is stealing information so they can hack. Next I will complain to FTC if FaceBook doesn't delete the account totally in the next 5 business days.
