I manage a *********** Sports page on FB (************************ Swim Team), a community page, and my own page, which I have had for over 15 years. My 17 year old daughter has an Instagram account linked to my email and Instagram account and for some reason got de-activated. We uploaded a copy of her ID and did a selfie and it was still banned with no way to appeal. Now my facebook is removed, along with the school page I created. My Instagram account (jimjimhk) has been disabled/used for no reason, and **** has no way to contact it. The system may have some issues that I can't submit a complaint. There is a scam facebook account that is stealing videos from the registered charity I work for. We have reported the page HUNDREDS of times. We have reported their fraudulent donation links. The links get removed but the account stay up. They are scamming innocent people out of money and using videos from reputable rescues to do so. They also have multiple instagram accounts with the same donation links. We have reported them and nothing happens. We are a verified page on facebook. My personal Facebook account was hacked on April 27, 2025. Using it, hacker created a fraudulent Instagram account that violated Metas rules, which caused my Facebook account (and 2 linked pages) to be suspended.Since then, I have been unable to appeal. Each time I try to log in, I receive a 6-digit verification code, then a message that my account is suspended. And the countdown of how much time I have left. Now about 59 days remain. Every Appeal link and Find Your Hacked Account requires login, which is blocked.Over the past 4 months I have:Submitted ID verification twice.Paid for Meta Verified on Instagram and had 4 support chats (only receiving broken login links).Emailed Meta security and Escalation teams details & screen shots with no response.Emailed Appeals and Disabled teams details and screen shots six times with no response.Contacted my state AG, who confirmed they cannot assist.I am the rightful owner of this account since about 2010 and can prove my identity. I am filing this complaint because my personal Facebook account, located at ******************************************************* was hacked and taken over by an unauthorized third ********** are the details of the situation:Nature of the issue: My account was compromised by a hacker who immediately changed the primary email address associated with the account to their own. They also enabled two-factor authentication (2FA) via an authenticator app that I never set up.Impact: Because of these unauthorized changes, I am locked out of my own account. All recovery codes and verification emails are now routed to the hackers email address, and I am unable to access or reset my account through the standard Facebook recovery process.Attempts to resolve:I attempted to use the official recovery links on Facebooks *********** (including ***********************************************************, *******************************************************************, and ID upload forms). These links either do not work, return page not available errors, or redirect me back into the same loop requiring codes sent to the hackers email.I contacted Facebook/Meta Support through the official channels available to non-business users. No effective resolution was provided.I attempted the impersonation report form, uploading my government-issued ID and providing proof that I am the rightful owner of the account. I received no confirmation that this was being acted upon.Why this is urgent: My account contains personal messages, photos, and information, and the hacker has complete control over it. This puts not only my data at risk, but also the security of my contacts and the broader community, as the hacker could impersonate me to scam others.Despite repeated attempts to resolve this directly through ************** I remain locked out. On 08/25/2025 my Instagram account (@_isis_imani), which was recently disabled without any prior warning. According to Instagrams own documentation, users are typically provided warnings before account action is taken, yet I received none. I have had access to this account for over 10 years and have never had an issue. This account represents my personal brand and is critical to my business operations. Losing access to it has disrupted my engagement with my audience and could result in long-term financial loss, as my business relies heavily on my online presence.There are post now missing from my business account due to them being in collaboration with my personal account. This is hindering me from making proper advertisements. I have already submitted an appeal through Instagrams official channels, but it has gone nowhere and I have received no meaningful response. Many support agents admitted that this is a known problem that the company has not fixed and have been an issue for almost 3 years. My Facebook and Instagram accounts, which I have had for over 13 years, were recently banned with the message that they may be associated with another account that violated community guidelines. Complaint:I am the rightful owner and administrator of a Facebook Business Page that represents my business. Due to a system error, I was accidentally removed as the sole Page admin, leaving the Page orphaned with no way to regain access. This has caused significant harm to my business by preventing me from communicating with customers, managing content, and running ads.I have followed all official Meta instructions to resolve the issue:Submitted multiple Page ***** Dispute requests.Reported the problem through the *********** with screenshots.Attempted to contact Meta Business Support via Messenger and feedback tools.None of these attempts have been acknowledged or resolved. I am the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and legal representative of ********** (Entity No. ************), a registered U.S. company. My business relies on Metas Business Manager and Facebook Pages to manage brand presence, analytics, and cross-platform ************* early August 2025, I lost administrative access to my Business Manager (ID: ***************** and Facebook Page (ID: ***************, Name: Dimucc). On August 4, 2025, I filed my first escalation through **** support. Since then, I have submitted multiple proofs of ownership including an attestation letter, government-issued ******* registration, *** EIN letter, and business banking records.Despite providing complete documentation, **** has repeatedly closed or merged my cases without restoring access. Their responses state that no compromised activity was detected, but this is not a security issue it is an admin ownership dispute. Because **** has not reinstated my admin rights, I cannot link my Business Manager to Instagram, manage analytics, or control my brands Page.
