On 12/23/2023 I created a Facebook account so that I could join the marketplace and sell some items around my home. I normally don't use sites like Facebook due to the many lawsuits i've heard about and how Facebook violates the rights of users.Anyhow, I created my account and listed a washer for sale. The washer that I listed I purchased on 4/22/22 and its in great condition and is under a 3 year warranty. I have all my paperwork for this item which I listed on my selling ad. After, I purchased my marketplace item not even two seconds later Facebook informed me that they are pulling down my post for a violation but didnt tell me what the violation was. Im not sure how Facebook is a still active company but they perform in a corrupt manner. If someone violates a rule "not intentional" why not inform them on what they did wrong and give them a opportunity to correct the matter rather than pulling down their post and banning them from posting. I have attached a copy of my Lowes receipt for the item I was selling and I have all of my paperwork for this item.Initial Complaint

Meta is putting minors at risk, i have came across multiple accounts that look like minors being sexually exploited and i have not been able to report the accounts because you have to go thru a whole process. So back on or around October 28th I was selling a motorcycle on Facebook Marketplace I ended up selling it to ********************* on or around October 28th he paid me thru Facebook Pay wich is now Meta Pay i believe i added my wifes debit card to facebook pay so i could remove the $250 and they froze my account ive written at least 10 trouble tickets explaining to them it was my wifes card and i feel like they just kept sending back a automated respinse wich was not helpful they still have the money in facebook pay / **** pay i want that money to get returned to ********************* asap i Cant get into my Facebook or m Facebook messenger and I cant access my facebook pay/ Meta Pay becayse they shut both of those down on me so i cant access any reciepts or anything either they make it impossible for me to get my money so id like it returned to sender *********************Initial Complaint

I don't know what could be done about this situation, but I am pretty upset about it. When you're a business professional and an entrepreneur, it is important to get handled when it comes to fraudulent activity and people hacking accounts. I am filing this complaint against Facebook and Meta, the tech company. I have been trying to get ahold of Facebook. My account, *******************************, an alias, was locked on January 26th, 2023. Due to some fraudulent activity, I have a credit card that is on there that is very old. I no longer have this credit card; this Facebook account was a business account for my life coaching. And, for an old **** account that I had deleted before this account got locked. The problem is that to unlock it asking me to verify old information. The credit card they have on file with Meta I cannot verify because I do not have that credit card anymore. So, the account will remain locked until something happens. I can give them all the information they want. But I do not have that credit card anymore, and I do not have that old telephone number it's under anymore because I got a new number this year. I have been trying my hardest to find information on how to contact Facebook to deal with this problem. I have went to the help center, articles, and community chats, which is not helpful at all. I contacted ****, I called them to file a complaint. The gentleman on the phone told me somebody would be back in touch in three days. I got an e-mail on December 22nd, 2023. In that e-mail, it was argument and confrontation back and forth nothing was resolved about the situation.I was told by some supposedly Meta employees who called me right after I hung up the phone with the representative from Meta telling me that somebody hacked into the ******************************* Facebook account in ********** and ******. My Facebook account has been locked since September 14th and every attempt I've made to contact support or follow the steps that they provide me results in frustration and zero progress. This whole thing started because my Facebook account was hacked. When I realized that, I was able to recover the account the same day, but after requesting Facebook restore my ad account that was used during the hack, they locked my account and now refuse to do anything to unlock it or allow me to go through the process to unlock it myself. I have too much of my life invested into this platform and I've done everything that has been requested of me, with little to no work being done by the employees at Facebook to resolve this. My Facebook account was hacked. The name, contact information, and profile picture on the account was also changed. Besides not being able to get back into my account through all of the account recovery avenues that are provided, I am concerned that my pictures and information are being used for malicious purposes. The recovery email on the account was also changed. Thus, so far, I cannot recover the account or the pictures I had on the account. Dear BBB,I am writing to you to request your assistance in restoring my Instagram account, which was disabled by Instagram on 24th of November. My account username is @newyork.view and I have been using it since 2019. The email associated with the account is: ************************ Instagram disabled my account without giving me any specific reason or warning. They only sent me an automated message saying that my account was disabled for violating their Terms of Use or Community Guidelines. However, I believe this was a mistake and that I did not violate any of their policies.I have always been respectful and responsible on Instagram. I only post photos of ************* that I either take myself or have permission from the original authors to share. I always credit the original authors and link to their accounts or websites. I never post any content that is illegal, harmful, hateful, abusive, or misleading. I also never engage in any spamming, phishing, or fraudulent activities.I have tried to contact Instagram several times to appeal their decision and explain my situation, but I have not received any response from them. They only direct me to fill out a form on their ************ which I have done several times, but nothing has changed. My personal Facebook/FB Messenger Accounts were compromised and are in a hacked state. Who ever hacked my account changed contact phone numbers and emails. I have no control over my likeness and personal photographs associated with Facebook. I have followed procedures on how to regain access to a hacked account and had no luck. I emailed Meta (Facebook) about the problem and received no reply from them. The ********** ************************* was notified via email and they were polite enough to write me back and say they could not help.
