My son ********************* purchased an iPhone 13 Pro ******************* Blue on 10/19/23 on Facebook Marketplace for $322.50 total, and the purchase had buyer protection guaranteed by Facebook Marketplace. They claim to have a 48-hour response window when you have an issue. The seller gave a tracking number for a package sent to ******, ** - NOTE: this tracking number shows that the package was handed over to ***** on 10/17/23 which is TWO DAYS BEFORE MY SON MADE THE ****** It is just not possible to ship us a phone prior to us ordering it - that is an indisputable fact and 100% proof that this seller is a scammer. The seller scammed us and many others, you can now read the reviews of this seller to see that it's true. The picture of the package on the porch that ***** provided for that tracking number is NOT our porch. I called *****, and they were able to tell me that the zip code the package was sent to was ***** - this is NOT our zip code! Our is 27705).Facebook Marketplace had ** first communicate with the seller to try to resolve the dispute and it did not work. Then we filed a claim on October 20, 2023 and the status continues to be:Claim #**************** is under review. We'll send you an update within 2 business days.Facebook Marketplace is NOT responding to our messages and our claim despite the status message on their site. We have provided all the info necessary to resolve this, and after waiting over 2 months, we are very unhappy with Facebook and filing this complaint to get my son his money back. He's a 14 year old who doesn't have much money and was unable to purchase Christmas gifts for others because he did not have his refund. We are beyond appalled at Facebook, and demand that they look into this claim and issue him a refund.

The amount of drug selling, prostitution, disinformation, racism, and so much more have gotten so rampant on this platform its ridiculous. There are legitimately, people who openly and blazingly advertising and sell drugs on Facebook. You "report it" facebook doesn't do anything cause it's "algorithm" doesn't think it goes against community standards. Some drugs, like pot are legal in some states, but it is illegal to sell it across state lines and that's what these people do. And then there's people selling their body for ***, listing prices, and phone numbers to contact. Again, you "report it" and Facebook does nothing. Same with all the false information posts. *** now, we have all these spam accounts and posts that rry to steal peoples information. From being a fake egirl to being a fake philanthropist, they post anything to steal peoples info and thry fall for it. Again, "report" it to facebook, they do nothing. You report videos such as things like the *** challenge or ******* challenge, people found a way to steal these cars with usb cables. You "report it" for crimibal activity and facebook does nothing. The video stays up and it gives other people to see itnand copy it. Freedom of speech is not freedom of reach. And their "algorithmic reporting" is far from adequate.

I placed Facebook Marketplace order *************** on 11/28/23.The order hadn't shipped in several days, so I placed a FB claim on 12/2/23, then after the claim was placed the order shipped.I was ordering a *********************** Night stand (in color Country White). It was $151.20 It was hugely discounted, but I thought it was used, and since FB offers Marketplace protection, I thought I was set to buy the item.Since I placed a claim about shipping, I no longer can place a claim on receiving the wrong item. I received a 6.5 foot long (pine color) table of some sort. I will gladly ship it back if I get a prepaid shipping labeling.I have messaged the seller several times, I even made a general first inquiry and they responded that I could buy the item. Since then the seller has not gotten back to me.So obviously I have been scammed. I shouldn't have bought the item because of the low price, but I thought I had buyer protection.I want a full refund. I keep trying to process a claim on Facebook and it says I have one open (for the shipping).I want a full refund in $151.20 returned to my card that I made the purchase with.I will ship the wrong item back to the (scammer) seller.

I deactivated my Facebook account well over a decade ago. I'm getting messages from Facebook that I'm trying to change my password. I tried to sign in to completely delete the account and am unable due to Facebook telling me I need to change my preferences to use my ***********- things I'm unable to do without access to my account. I would like to know who is signing into my account and request the account associated with my email ***************** by completely DELETED immediately. I am tired of dealing with their security breaches.

I dont consent ti meta/ Facebook sharing any information from this complaint or selling my information.I had multiple Facebook accounts under the email addresses ******************* ************************ ********************** A few years ago I deactivated all my accounts due to the horrible meta experience. From selling my information to third parties to meta allowing extreme bullying of me which destroyed my mental well being. All my accounts have been deactivated for 5 years or more. in the last year or so someone has been trying relentlessly to hack my accounts. Finally after thr attempts yesterday I attempted to check my account to ensure it wasn't hacked. Well meta has now locked me out my accounts. Because I used my street names like pardon my back etc. And I dont have a state id with the street name on it meta refused to give me access or respect my wishes to leave my accounts deactivated. Its pictures dating back to 2009 in my accounts of loved ones who passed away and my children etc that i didn't want deleted. I am asking Facebook to recognize my original email and give me access so i may put two step authentication on my accounts and re deactivate or allow me access to my photos and things I do not feel safe guving Facebook my current ID because meta sells your data which is one of the main reasins I deactivated my accounts. I can show my id but i will not give meta thr part containing my address or birthday etc because meta sells this information. Which has been proven in the past.I have attached 3 recent attempts on my account which prompted me to try myself to reset and add 2 steo authentication.I stopped using these accounts around 2017 ******************* arround 2015 ************************ 2018 ********************** I deactivated them approximately in these years none using my biological name.

Hello, my company's Facebook group has been stolen since December 9, and since that day I have been sending emails and reports to Facebook, but there is no response. I contacted Meta more than 4 times, but help was refused on the pretext that they have no authority over groups on Facebook and cannot communicate with Facebook by reporting or directly. I have been sending messages to Facebook on a daily basis for 3 weeks, and there has been no response, even though it did not give me any notice of the four administrators removing from the group. This is my own company's group, and I can prove its creation in 2016 with my personal account and the period of its theft. The hacker posts stolen groups for sale on his private account , but there is no deterrence at all from Facebook. I have lost a lot of work due to Facebook's negligence. I am writing to you for help because if there is no response from Facebook, my rights and losses will be legally claimed from this company. Thank you very much *********

I setup my childs account to play on *************** headset. I then setup my own account to gift him games. I gifted him 2 games at the cost of approximately 50 dollars. I realized his account was setup as an adult account. I adjusted the year to the correct year(I accidentally put in my year instead of his when setting up). This simple action locked his account without being able to adjust or enter his account. It asks for identification of my child I. Forms such as a birth certificate. Which seems very extreme and unlawful to ask for to play a video game console.I still sent this information to get him back on. The company has rejected this form even though they clearly state they will accept. They state they will erase the account after an allotted time if we are not able to share the document. I feel the company is using this to exploit their custom Tera and take advantage of them. I also do not feel that the company should legally be allowed to ask for the information they request as it is highly sensitive and could be at a security risk to share a childs information.

On December 12th ********** Locked my Facebook account claiming I had miss-used my instagram account. The Instagram account the referenced is not mine. I suspect that I was hacked and someone created a Instagram account to use incorrectly. I could not log into that account as instructed to appeal. I finally found email addresses ********************************************************************** which I have sent several emails to with no response. I have attached copies of what I found when trying to login and file the complaint with Instagram as instructed. I also attached copies of the emails I send.Additional, the hacker charged $225 to my account, also shared in the attached files.I can not believe a company in the communication business and of the size of Meta can not take the time to respond and resolve this issue. I get that I am 1 of billions of customers and I will scream at the top of the hills how bad their customer service is. I am going to copy this to **** Fed. Trade Commission, NY Times and ****** Time. I am hoping one of these organizations or you can help me find a resolve.

My Facebook account was hacked in early October. When I tried to change my password to reaccess the account, I discovered that the hacker had attached their email address to the account for receiving a code to change the password. Therefore, I was locked out. I set up a second Facebook page and was subsequently locked out if it as well. Since then, the hacker has been sending messages to my friends and family members using my profile pages trying to deceive them. Because my personal information is included with my profiles, I became concerned about identity theft, given that my info is in the hacker's control. Moreover, since I am locked out of the pages with no way to access them, I wrote to Facebook/Meta on 11/21/23 and requested that they unhack my accounts OR deactivate them from their site. I allowed 30 days for a response. To date, I have heard nothing from them. If Facebook/Meta Tech support can unhack my accounts to allow me to access them again, I would accept that as resolution. However, if they cannot unhack them, I would request that they deactivate them to prevent the hacker from continuing to harass my friends and family and potentially stealing my identity.

I'm ***********************, user of Meta platform, writing this form to ask for your assistance in restoring my small business. Instagram team deleted business Instagram account without any alert and it affects so much on my work and my life. The account has been disabled more than 2 months, although I filled out appeals and contacted Instagram Support team so many times, but only receive automatic reply and still don't have clear result. You don't know how hopeless and frustrating I've been these days. I'm waiting their team everyday, I'm looking for the response every hour, I'm bothering the help with every agents, but all of them just sent the same email template, closed the case without truly looking into my situation. The account is for business, I've building it in 2 years, all by myself, from set up, collect products, schedule posts, run ads... So so many effort I've done that no words can't describe. That's why I try to find way to reach out to your unit. I believe that you have the authority to investigate and take action against companies that engage in unfair and deceptive practices, such as disabling accounts without proper cause. Please understand from my view, this account means everything, for business, for income. And I would note down all information I set up for this account, to help you easier contact to Meta - Instagram team:- Business instagram account disabled name: @prisphoria - Linked email to that account: ********************** Linked facebook page: *************************************************** Ad ************************** *** **************** - Business Account: Prisphoria - *** **************** - Date deleted account: November 12, 2023 I appreciate so much if you'd look into this matter and take any necessary steps to help me regain access to my Instagram account. Please forgive for my bothering these days and listen to all I've said. Hope to hear good news from you soonest.
