My instagram account under the username W0kebutstilltired had been suspended and I appealed on July 21, 2025. Instagram advised that my account was banned due to CSE (Child Sexual ***************** can disagree that is not the case at all. There are many articles online claiming many users were banned wrongfully for the same issue and I am one of those users. I uploaded a selfie for verification and Instagram said they will review my appeal. I have not heard back anything from them at all. In a local Facebook group I posted a comment about a local cable company named race communications their signal had been turning on and off all day lots of people complained about it the comment I left was not false or derogatory I simply stated that race communications has been on and off all day and it's irritating, Facebook remove my comment by saying it was against the rules. It was not false advertisement it was not spam it was a comment from a legitimate account which is mine and it was a comment against a local business that has a problem keeping their internet service operating I'm not sure if the company complained to Facebook about my comment but Facebook telling me my comment goes against their rules makes no sense because it was a true statement it can be proved by documents that company even had to give me a refund because the Internet kept going off all day long. As you know there is no way to contact Facebook directly except through the app and it's very difficult to navigate they have no way for anybody to contact them to dispute any of their claims no phone number to reach them no email to reach them. Facebook however is welcome to reach out to me either by phone or email which they have both of them on file. I would like my comment restored and the strike they gave against my account removed.Initial Complaint

My wife and I have a photography business that is used for my wife's income as she stays home to watch our 4 month old twin boys.We cannot afford daycare, so she quit her job as a teacher and decided to go full time in photography while staying at home.She uses the social media platforms Facebook and Instagram to market her business and most importantly, that is mainly how she is contacted by clients for more work.On July 17th, her Facebook account, and both Instagram accounts were suspended falsely.She was accused by ****, the owner of Facebook and Instagram, that she had "exploited children". This is not only a defamation to her character, but also something that is has derailed her entire business on a false accusation. She cannot access her account nor can clients reach out to her for future work.We have reached out to Meta several times and only have been told that there are many people having the same issue, but to just wait, and we are given no hope or timeframe on her accounts being restored. We also did some research and found out that hundreds of thousands of people in the country are going through the same exact issue.Every day that goes by are clients and income for our young family of 4.We are asking that your organization please reach out to **** to have her accounts restored as after doing research, it is only organizations like yours that have been successful in getting them back. My Facebook and Instagram accounts were disabled without warning or explanation. I believe false reports led to an incorrect enforcement action by Meta (Facebook/Instagram). I did not violate any community guidelines, and I was not given a chance to appeal through the platform.I submitted an email appeal on July 16, 2025, and have not received any response. I also downloaded my data and confirmed there are no violations. I believe my account was compromised and falsely linked to another user I do not know.I have used Metas platforms for over two decades to build a positive presence and communicate with my community. I tried to day to open a Facebook account online today as my previous account which I had established under the email ********************* had been hacked years ago and I could not get into it. I want to follow neighborhood and community events which are on Facebook as well as to be able to search for businesses. I gave accurate information about myself but was turned down by what I assumed was AI because of something it did not like., but it did not give a reason , only that I did not meet community standards ! I am 78 years old, live alone, and am the first to admit my computer skills could be better getting through all the verification process and then being turned down with a message that I could not reapply. My access to my Facebook and Instagram accounts was arbitrarily revoked after my profile was falsely reported as fraudulent by an individual who has been harassing me online.This person, after a disagreement on a Facebook page, began stalking me across all my social media platforms. He accessed my Instagram account, downloaded my photos, and has been defaming me on multiple platforms. He even created a ******* account using my image and name without permission, posting homophobic comments across various sites and social networks.I have attached screenshots proving that the ******* profile uses my name ("Vinicius" + todEs + meninE) and my photo, taken from my Instagram without consent. His Instagram handle is @maxconsultorimobiliario. He also maintains a Facebook account under the same identity.While **** claims to uphold freedom of expression, they are failing to act against harassment, impersonation, and homophobic content. Ironically, they removed my accounts instead of the attackers.Facebook sent me a facial recognition link to confirm my identity and ownership of my account. I completed the verification process, but Facebook immediately disabled my account not only on ******************** but also on ************ Instagram account contains years of personal history, including travel records and stories from more than 35 countries I have visited. This is irreplaceable, and losing it due to an unjustified harassment campaign is unacceptable.I respectfully request that Meta/Facebook/Instagram:1. Restore my accounts in full.2. Investigate and take appropriate action against the account(s) responsible for harassment and impersonation.3. On July 25th, 2025, my wife, ***** ******, listed an item for sale on Facebook Marketplace. She tried numerous times to find out if the item sold. Then on July 19th, she received a message, "finished boosting July 19th", and was billed $2.00 with a note, "You're being billed because you reached your $2.00 payment threshold." Unfamiliar with the process, she paid the $2.00 fee using a Master Card ending in 9572. There was a transaction ID, which is listed below, and a reference number A8TXJTC8A2. When I received my credit card statement, I found that we were not only charged the original $2.00 fee, but seven additional fees. Each with a different reference number. July 17th TD4X9S48A2, July 18th W6QGBS48A2 and 6FTWVRL8A2, on July 19th AXCLTC8A2, XH4TASU7A2, and 8AFL6SL7A2, and July 21st, 2733GS48A2. There is no phone number, email address, customer support representative, or chatbox assistant to contact. Only the address of ******************, **************************. *****. On July 31st, 2025, I sent a letter to their **************************** asking for an explanation as to why I was charged so many times, and if a charge was even necessary in the first place. It's been two weeks with no response, so I'm contacting you. The refund I'm asking for is insignificant; it's rather the principle of what happened. I doubt that Mr. ********** needs my $16.00, but if this happened to me, it could happen to hundreds or even thousands of people. A few dollars here and a few dollars there for a company the size of Meta amounts to a considerable sum of money over the course of time. Hello BBB,I sent the letter to facebook for fraudulent closing my account.I am writing by certified mail to demand the immediate restoration of my Facebook account, which was wrongfully disabled following unauthorized access by a malicious third party. Despite multiple emails to your support team on the following dates 7-6-2025 through 7-14-2025]I have received no substantive response or assistance. This inaction has severely impacted my professional and personal life, as I rely on Facebook to maintain critical business contacts and communicate with clients.Background:On or about 7-5-2025, my account was compromised by an unknown individual.I promptly submitted reports and supporting documentation (including a government-issued ID and proof of account ownership) as instructed by your help pages.After several days without resolution, I received notification that my account had been permanently disabled without explanation or opportunity for appeal.Impact:I use Facebook Messenger and Pages daily to coordinate client engagements, manage appointments, and receive payment confirmations.The loss of access has caused missed deadlines, client confusion, and tangible financial losses totaling [approximate dollar amount], directly threatening my livelihood.Demand:I hereby demand that Facebook:1.Immediately reinstate my account under the same username and associated email address.2.Remove any security flags or holds that prevent me from logging in.3.Provide written confirmation of restoration within ten (10) calendar days of your receipt of this letter.Please treat this as formal notice. Incident Statement Compromised Facebook Account Incident Date/Time: Sept 7, 2024, 19:09 EDT I discovered my Facebook account (******************************************************************) was hijacked. Alerts showed the password and recovery email were changed without my consent. Two-factor authentication was also redirected to my former Chinese number ******************), which I no longer control. I lost all access and cannot stop possible fraudulent posts, messages, or friend requests in my name.Actions Taken:Tried all Hacked Account recovery steps; failed because codes go to the intruder.Warned contacts that any activity after Sept 7 may be fraudulent.Scanned devices and updated other account credentials; no further breaches found.Filed FTC complaint, FTC identity theft complaint, Police Report at ********* PD.Purpose of Complaint:**** offers no way to delete or recover an account once recovery channels are compromised. I request BBB assistance to (1) document this identity theft, (2) confirm I lack control so misconduct isnt attributed to me, and (3) contact Facebook(Meta) to delete my account.I am not currently seeking criminal charges but reserve the right to do so if damages arise.
