I am the lawful owner of my Facebook account and am currently logged in. I do not remember my existing password and have attempted to reset it using Facebooks official recovery process. The system fails to complete the reset despite following all steps exactly as instructed.Over the course of this year, I have used the Forgot Password feature, attempted to receive verification codes by SMS, attempted via email, and other listed options, checked spam/junk folders, and tried multiple devices and browsers. In every case, the process either fails to send the verification code or loops me back to the starting page without allowing me to set a new password.This is not a user error. ********************* own tools are preventing a legitimate account holder from performing a basic and essential security function: resetting a password when the current one is unknown. This is a defect in their account management system and a failure to provide a promised feature necessary for account security.I request the following:1. Immediate assistance from a qualified **** support agent to reset my password.2. Written acknowledgment that the standard reset process failed in my case.3. Assurance that my account and personal data remain secure.If this issue is not resolved, I will escalate the matter to relevant consumer protection authorities, as the inability to reset a password on a live account constitutes an unreasonable barrier to maintaining account security.I am not the only user affected; numerous reports online indicate that Facebooks password reset system fails in similar ways for other consumers. On July 16th, my son was contacted on Instagram ( he is 15). He was being solicited by a "girl" who appeared to be a teenager but acted more like a grown man. This person harassed him repeatedly for pictures of his privates, even offered to send pictures, he again declined multiple times, he reported and blocked the person as advised by support articles. His social media is now banned. As well as all of my accounts, because they were connected for monitoring. This is how he communicates with his baseball team and keeps up on school events. This situation has made him afraid to report sexual harassment in the future, as well as feel as a male, he will have to tolerate being sexually harassed while adults who should protect him do nothing. This may sound stupid, like its solely regarding social media however,r this goes to a core value we preach to say something to stop sexual abuse to our children. However, when they stand up and do the right thing, those who claim to want to protect them and keep them safe from these situations punish the victim. The effect this has had on his mental health and how he perceives sexual harassment is damaging and there is no way to contact the conglomerate and no way to hold them accountable for the damage they are doing. I am locked out of everything and unable to review emails they send as they are sent to a wrong email .Initial Complaint

I am a Financial Advisor and have a Facebook business page. Everything that I post has to go through strict compliance. I boosted a compliance approved post and Facebook flagged it. I clicked for a review and now my account is permanently banned from advertising. This is not fair to be permanently banned for boosting or creating ads for the first violation that was not even a violation. It was just their AI bots shutting me down. I am writing with urgency and concern regarding my Instagram account @fatmaamiraa, which was disabled on August 12, 2025 for allegedly violating Instagrams policies. I was informed that the reason was related to CSE, an allegation that is not only completely untrue, but also deeply disturbing and *************** be completely honest, I was shocked and horrified by this action. I have never engaged in, supported, or condoned anything remotely related to such harmful and illegal content. My account has always been maintained in full alignment with ******************** Guidelines, and I have always made it a priority to create a safe and respectful space for my audience.I strongly believe this may be the result of a serious mistake or misunderstanding, and I respectfully request an immediate, thorough re-review of my case and would love to get my account back. I own Bargain Snatchers and have a business page that is under control of a business portfolio. I cant access the business portfolio due to Meta blocking the admin of the portfolio from being able do anything in the portfolio. Which also is preventing her from transferring administrator to me. This is preventing me from being able to communicate with my customers that are reaching out to me through my business page. **** has placed my account in an "Account Restricted" status. After spending close to 25 hours across the better part of a month trying to get this resolved, they still refuse to do so, saying I have been found to be "acting suspiciously or in violation of a policy" without being able to further clarify what that means (even though it is totally baseless). They continue to accept money from my advertising account for my businesses, buy I just spent $5,000 to bring on a new marketing partner, and due to my illegitimate "Account Restricted" status, I cannot approve their access. I want the "Account Restricted" status removed, as it should have never been placed there to begin with. I have tried unsuccessfully to resolve this directly and the amount of time I've spent is unacceptable. They most recently told me today that I would have to wait "up to 180 days" to see if their "automated system found I was in compliance with their policies" and THEN I'd have the chance to "file an appeal". I've spent at least $250,000 on advertising on **** platforms over the last decade, without issue, and they've refused to fix this issue with me.Initial Complaint

My personal Facebook account *********************** with the phone number ************ was permanently disabled on 8/14/25 without explanation or notice of any specific violation.All official appeal links are broken or return page not found, making it impossible to submit an appeal or regain access to my account. This also prevents me from retrieving my data stored on Facebook. I am requesting that ************** provide a working appeal process or restore my account, by their stated policies. There is a known issue with Meta AI that is wrongfully banning social media accounts on Instagram and Facebook without due cause. There is no way to contact support without paying for your account to be meta verified. My private and personal Instagram account was suspended in June 2025 for child sexual exploitation, (I have never posted anything remotely linked to this behavior) this suspension also in turn suspended my photography business account, as well and my personal and business Facebook accounts (they were all linked). I filed an appeal immediately, I had to provide a selfie as well as a front and back copy of my SC Drivers license. An automated response said my account would be reviewed in 24/48 hours. As of 8/14/25 I am still locked out of every account. I have paid for Meta verified and have been unable to have any of their customer service chats help to recover my accounts. I have lost business as well as 15 years worth of photos and videos of my children.Initial Complaint

My facebook account has been hacked. My email and password has been changed and I cannot access my account. When I try to retrieve my account, the recovery system says my phone is not recognized and cannot continue. This is a form of identify theft and I want a resolution.
