On August 16th and Instagram and Facebook suspended my personal account: Instagram: @evannfridayy I am writing to formally you know I am filing a complaint against ********************, the parent company of Instagram and Facebook, regarding the wrongful and damaging suspension of the account that I own or manage. These actions were not only unjust but have caused significant harm and emotional distress. I lost my network of friends, family and connection with scouting america where I get opportunities to partner and get more people involved into scouting but without instagram im losing opportunities to recruit, connect and learn.The reason cited was an alleged violation which is entirely false, defamatory, and deeply distressing. I am writing to formally request a manual review of my account and to register a complaint about how my Instagram account was handled. On August 2nd, my account was disabled and IP-banned, despite my never knowingly violating any community or usage guidelines. I submitted an appeal, but received no indication of human evaluationonly automated responses or rejections. I have evidence showing my adherence to all policies, and I believe the disabling arose from an automated moderation error. After the ban, there was no acknowledgment or meaningful follow-up, which is unsatisfactory. I would respectfully request that Meta perform a human review, restore access if no violation is found, or clearly explain the reason for denial. On June 25, 2025, I purchased a **** Verified subscription for my Facebook account (Profile ID: ***********. I paid the monthly fee (promotional offer of PHP30 or US$0.50 for the first month) and completed all required verification steps: submitting my Philippine National ID and profile photo. My account was confirmed as verified and active, with Meta committing to provide benefits (blue badge, impersonation protection, and account support).On July 4, 2025, only 910 days later, my account was suddenly restricted for an alleged **** Verified Terms of Service violation. No clause or evidence was cited. I immediately appealed and resubmitted my details.On July 14, 2025, Meta emailed that my appeal was incomplete, even though I had fully complied. The appeals system kept me in a non-functional loop marked Under Review.On July 16, 2025, my account was declared permanently disabled, with the justification shifted to Community Standards Cybersecurity. No clear explanation was provided.On July 23, 2025, I received a contradictory WhatsApp alert claiming my account was locked due to suspected compromise, suggesting a security issue rather than a violation.On July 25, 2025, **** stated my account was under a ****** appeal window (ending August 16, 2025). However, the Go to *********** link led only to a general help article. No actual appeal form was available. Once the 30 days expired, I was permanently denied the chance to appeal.Nature of the dispute: **** accepted my payment and confirmed verification, then revoked the service within 10 days without cause, denied appeals, and left me without access to 16 years of personal data (account since 2009).Attempts to resolve: I submitted multiple appeals and contacted Meta through all available channels, but only received automated or no response.Requested resolution: I am seeking a full review of my case, reinstatement of my account, and a fair appeal opportunity. My Facebook account was recently disabled under the claim that I am associated with dangerous individuals and organizations. This is completely false and deeply concerning, as I am not a dangerous person nor am I connected to any such organizations. I have always used Facebook responsibly to connect with family, friends, and my community. I believe this was a mistake in Facebooks automated review process, and unfortunately, Facebook has been no help in allowing me to properly appeal or resolve this decision. Their system has offered no clear path for communication or correction, leaving me unfairly restricted and without support. On July 16, my Instagram account was hacked and an inappropriate message was sent. As a result, all of my Meta accounts were disabled. I rarely use Instagram; my main platform is Facebook, which Ive used for 16 years to share family, nature, and youth sports photos. I have never posted anything inappropriate. I submitted an appeal that same day. The appeal review notice stated a 1-day turnaround, but it has now been over a month with no response. Ive tried using Metas official hacked-account forms with no success. This is a misunderstanding, and I would hate to lose 16 years of memories. Our Facebook business page, ****************************************************************************, was established in 2011 and represents over a decade of hard work and dedication. During this time, we have built a respected niche and a strong reputation as highly sought after professional photographers in the global watersports industry, primarily windsurfing.Our page was suspended by ***** automated system on June 11, 2025. The suspension notice stated: This goes against our Community Standards on fraud, scams, and deceptive practices.The suspension is unfounded and does not accurately reflect the purpose or activity of the group. This suspension has had a direct negative impact on my business. The page is dedicated to sharing watersports images from professional worldwide events, local beaches, photoshoots, and professional athletes. The page does not request money, promote scams, or engage in deceptive practices of any kind. Its sole purpose is to showcase photography and connect with the global watersports community.Meta has not provided a valid reason for this suspension, nor have they offered an appeal option in my case. Other Facebook users in similar circumstances have been allowed to appeal and have had their pages reinstated. By denying me this option, **** has left me without recourse to correct this ********** a result, the suspension has caused significant harm to my business, including:Loss of communication with global brand partners.Damage to professional reputation and credibility.Inability to remain active and relevant with clients and followers.I also understand that Facebook may permanently delete suspended pages after a period of time if no appeal is submitted. Facebook Ads charged me $35, even though I was barely running ads and received no valid return or service for that charge. I reached out through their help channels and provided a screenshot showing the unexpected charge. ***** support team continues to give me automated responses and sends me to a refund request portal that doesnt work. I purchased a pair of ******* Meta glasses on 06/30/2025 and returned them on 07/12/2015 using the companys official return process. The return package shows as delivered on 07/23/2025 via ***** + Tracking Number#************ Despite multiple attempts to contact customer service, I have not received my refund of $499, even though the companys return policy clearly states that refunds are issued within 1014 business days I am requesting immediate issuance of my full refund of $499. My Instagram account (@********, active for over nine years, was wrongfully disabled by Metas automated system. I have never violated community guidelines, and Ive lost messages with a deceased relative, high school memories, graduations, and photos of family growing up. Users have no way to resolve this without paying, and even then AI bots dominate responses. Multiple reports on TikTok, Reddit, App Store reviews, and news outlets show this is a widespread problem. I demand immediate manual review and full restoration of my account
