1 starIf you are looking for a auto warranty, run as fast as you can away from Palisades Protection. They are not a ********************** they are a Marketing Firm. If the company does not have the 2nd word in their company name as Warranty, BEWARE. Their sales staff are high pressure employees and are extremely HOSTILE. First they are extremely costly, price other Auto warranty companies and you will find out.. If you have like I did, fall for the sales pick, expect **** and Hostile sales staff on trying to cancel the policy. It took me 2days snd some very heated discussions to get the policy canceled. Also, Palisades charges you a $295.00 activation fee and a tremendously high monthly fee. Since I Never filed a claim of any type for repairs to my vehicle, I asked for a refund. The female sales agent told me in no uncertain terms, "you are not receiving a ***** back". She along with a 2nd female and a male sales agent called me HOSTILE, while continually raising their voices, while speaking over me. By the way. You may also want to check with your auto dealership to see if they accept payment from Palisades. The answer will likely me NO for a number of various reasons. By the way, where is my REFUND, I have a legsl right to my money.. SO BUYER'S BEWARE...YOUR IN FOR A ROUGH RIDEif you pick Palisades. Also you make your payments to Walco Auto Group, that should tell you something. They deserve No review stars. Apparently they will not let me send my review without a star rating. It pains me to leave a single star and that star will be for extremely poor service and Palisades ability to take financial advantage for NO service to you as the consumer.Review fromRichard S

1 starThis company sold my mom who is 85 an extended warranty on her vehicle for ****** a month. On her way home from church the car overheated because the sensors went bad and needed replacing. We called roadside service which was wonderful and took it to the repair shop they wanted us to take it. After all was said and done, the claim was denied because it was a sensor. The bill was 458 and just left us to deal with. When speaking to a claim representative she tried to school me on sensors and was very rude, I informed her I was an engineer and tried to educate her on sensors and newer vehicles but to no avail. When speaking to the shop that performed the work, they informed me that 70% of the claims were denied. Wow that says it all!Review fromDi R

1 starThe Palisade Protection Group (PPG) absolutely deserves its Bottom-Level Rating. You get NO STARS from me. The predatory, misleading 'Pink Postcard' marketing mailing I recieved from them today states, "This notice is to inform you that you have not contacted us regarding your vehicle service contract.--" It sounds utterly dumb; that PPG thinks they have to notify me that I have 'not contacted them' regarding a vehicle service contract that doesn't exist?! Why would I? Of course I have not contacted PPG. I DON'T HAVE A VEHICLE SERVICE CONTRACT WITH PPG so why would I? To make it sound as if I do---is a bold-faced lie. I just wanted you to know that not all old folks are intimidated by your tactics, and to say, "What goes around, comes around" and "Honesty IS the Best Policy," before I rip up your 'Pink Postcard Notification' and toss it in the trash where, in my opinion, it belongs.Review fromLaura P

1 starOne of the worst companies ever - use scare tactics to get your business. I have contacted them three times requesting them to remove me from the mailing list. 3rd time was today - they told me I was going to default on my reverse mortgage without their coverage. I ask for their Ga. business Lic. number - she refused - I'm thinking they don't really have one.Review fromDe B

1 starThis company is a scam operation. They keep sending us "Home Warranty Notification" that says they will foreclose on us if we do not renew the home warranty we have with them. We have NEVER had a home warranty on our home and when I called the number on the information sheet they sent us, I was told that no home in the US can be sold without a home warranty as it is a federal law!! I laughed at the stupid lady on the phone who was so very rude. I know it is a scam and all I wanted to do was to have them stop sending their false and scamming notifications to us. The lady screamed at me and told me I was stupid and dumb and she started to curse at me so I told her to f*** herself and I hung up. We have received these notifications for the last 6 months and each one says "Third and Final Attempt". Can't the BBB shut them down? Or can't the *** shut them down? I am glad that I am smarter than they are!!! They will NEVER scam me!!!Review fromWilliam B

1 starPalisade Protection Group at *********************************** Suite ******* ****** , ** *****. ** License #*******. This company practices predatory advertising and marketing to a vulnerable population. They send out very official looking "Home Warranty Notifications", IMMEDIATE RESPONSE REQUESTED", "THIRD ATTEMPT' to elderly "REVERSE MORTGAGE OR HECM" loan borrowers who many of which have cognitive, motivational, social, emotional and economic vulnerabilities and deficiencies that suggest that my elderly family member needs to "avoid Default and/or Foreclosure" by buying their Palisade Protection Group home warranty insurance. The "senior finance manager" who I spoke with was very combative once I confronted her, would not give their name, refused to let me speak with their manager and said "this is not the 1st or the last old person who's going to be confused about our marketing and advertising." She also accused me of being old, incompetent and confused after I explained that I am the legal power of attorney for my family member. I infact do hold a Masters in ******************* and Organization.I would advise everyone to NEVER, NEVER, NEVER buy anything from this predatory, unethical, misleading company. I will be reporting them to the ******* Attorney General as well and to a local news outlet. They should have their insurance brokers license revoked.Review fromDonna A

1 starA Final Notification was sent to me regarding a Home Warranty for Reverse Mortgage Maintenance plan that said to me it was saying my Reverse Mortgage would be canceled if I didn't renew this plan. I talked to an agent who was very nice and informative. When I said I wanted to speak to my husband about the plan she turned me over to a supervisor. The supervisor lady ?? was terrible, telling me when I said I wanted to talk to my husband that I would be telling him errors and when I told her the phone was breaking up she said I was lying to get away from her. She was talking, talking & talking, I could hardly get a word in so we were both talking at the same time. She was rude, very disrespectful, coercive and VERY hard selling. I felt like if I talked to her any longer I'd be a stroke victim...she made me so very uncomfortable and upset. If I was to purchase such insurance, I would NEVER purchase it from your company. She should NOT be speaking to people, esp an 86-year-old & very educated lady about these things. In fact, she's a very poor representative of your company.Palisade Protection Group

It seems that the notification may have been misread or misunderstood. The notification that you received was designed to do just that -- to notify. If it was received any way other than we intended we apologize for the misunderstanding.
We definitely aim to make sure that all customers have a positive experience in their interactions with our company. This call will certainly be reviewed for any potential corrective action and/or coaching that we can provide for this scenario.Review fromDiane C

1 starThis company sent mail to a deceased owner of a car that never had a contract with them. The 90 year old widow read the mail that said "you have not contacted us to have your vehicle service contract updated". Not realizing this company never had a contract on the car, she immediately called. The representative talked to her and promptly convinced her to take out a contract on a car that was no longer in the deceased name as the title had been disbursed per the will. The personal representative for the estate has sent a certified letter to cancel the contract, refund the money and send confirmation of the refund/cancellation. How can a company sell a warranty on a car that isn't even in someone's name? Sad!!!Review fromKristin D

2 starsI bought their very expensive home warranty policy and Ive had a couple of issues with them. 1. The contract they sent me is a ***** podge of pages that are unreadable because the pages are all cut off. 2. They sent me a text message stating I needed to call them and they provided a phone #. Well I called and texted the #, but it never rings, no one answersnothing. So I called their customer service # during business hours and I get a recording that said office is closed. Is this company even real? Did I get scammed?Palisade Protection Group
